Established over 100 years ago, our inn offers a serene retreat by the shores of Lake Tazawa, reflecting the beauty and flavors of Akita through every season. The interiors are adorned with the warmth of Akita cedar, lighting inspired by Akita butterbur, and traditional craftsmanship such as "magewappa" woodwork. Dinner is served in private dining rooms for all guests. Savor a meticulously crafted kaiseki meal featuring local delicacies such as A5-grade Akita beef, signature kiritanpo hot pot, and rare simmered Kinki fish. The Property, located at an altitude of 760 meters in a highland resort, is situated on the southern foothills of Mt. Iwate within the Towada-Hachimantai National Park. It features a 1,300-year-old sulfur Onsen, a scenic lift, a campsite, and a ski resort. Nestled at the base of Mt. Iwate, which boasts a beautiful sweeping slope, the Property offers a breathtaking panoramic view of Koiwai and the Shizukuishi Basin. The rural landscape visible from every Room creates a truly special experience. Additionally, Rooms near the open-air Onsen "Daishaku no Yu" and dishes featuring the bounty of Iwate's mountains and seas are among the highlights.
