Oguni Auberge Waita-kan The Onsen was amazing, and the game cuisine was delicious. We’ll be back!

I made a Reservation for a Plan that included two meals and all-you-can-drink alcohol. It was reasonably priced, yet the food and draft beer were delicious, with a great variety of drinks. Bottled Wilkinson carbonated water was provided, and I almost felt bad opening a new bottle for each glass of soda mix. The staff were extremely kind as well. I’ve used Yahoo Travel for many stays in Japan, but this is the first time I’ve wanted to leave a Review—highly recommended!

Not only the Room but the entire property was very clean and well maintained, which made our stay very pleasant. If you go to the bath at 6:00 a.m., something good might happen.

I stayed during Golden Week. I expected it to be crowded, but I was glad I could spend a quiet time. The meals were so filling that I felt they could have been a bit smaller, as I’m in my 60s. The sunset was beautiful while looking out over the Mikuma River, and it felt very pleasant. All the staff were kind and welcoming. I would like to stay again.

Many guests were also staying here to go golfing. The Hotel staff were very kind. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. The food was delicious as well. I was very satisfied. Thank you!

The ocean was right in front of me, the views were wonderful, the Facility was clean, and I was very satisfied with the wide variety of dishes. On the way home, I stopped by Marine World Aquarium and then drove six hours on the expressway to get back. It was a very good trip. Kyu

I made a Reservation on behalf of my parents, and they said it was wonderful! They mentioned that many of the staff were foreigners, so there were a few things they didn’t fully understand, but the food was delicious and they had a very enjoyable stay. The Room felt a bit old, and the railing was low, so families with small children should be careful. They also really enjoyed trying the sand bath for the first time. They were happy that the shop was spacious as well. They chose a Plan with all-you-can-drink; the draft beer was excellent, but the meal was so good and filling that they couldn’t drink much beer—haha. For dinner, I had noted in advance that they can’t eat fish, and you kindly accommodated this. My father was especially happy because everything served was something he could eat, which made me happy too. Thank you very much for taking such good care of my parents. Next time, we will stay with our whole family. Thank you again.

There were more cars than I expected, but the dining area and baths were not very crowded. We stayed on Friday and Saturday, and it didn’t seem like there were many families. Everything was smooth and consistently comfortable throughout our stay. It was a Ryokan I would definitely like to visit again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for your kindness—the staff’s smiles were wonderful. I’d love to stay at this lovely Hotel again. We could relax at our own pace without worrying about others, listening to the soothing sound of the waves from morning to night. Open the window and you’ll see the blue sea and horizon, then enjoy morning coffee on the terrace—truly the best seat in the house. Savor dinner (a barbecue) with a sunset sinking into the sea as your backdrop. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

I stayed here again for the first time in 15 years. When staying in Kuju, this Accommodation is definitely the right choice. I was satisfied with everything—the views, the open-air bath, the service, and the meals. One small thing: the faucet at the Room sink was a bit too short and slightly inconvenient to use (haha). I made wonderful memories.

This was our second stay, about three years since the last time. Due to the earthquake and other factors, it wasn’t very busy, but we decided that this was exactly the time to visit and stayed one night at Yume GingA for an early wedding anniversary. The conditions must have been just right, because there was a massive swarm of winged ants outside, which was awful. However, the food was delicious, the service was attentive, and we were very satisfied. The Onsen is also excellent. My wife even brought a star chart, but unfortunately we had to give up this time. On our departure as well, all the staff waved us off until we were out of sight—once again making it a place that leaves you thinking at the end that you want to come back.

Many international guests were staying there. During meals, the staff kindly asked if they could serve portions for us and made sure to let us know so that the small children wouldn’t have to wait in line. My grandchildren were very happy as well. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Despite the heavy rain and strong winds, you kindly accommodated us even before check-in time. Thank you as well for preparing dinner on short notice. The Wi-Fi signal was weak, so the connection wasn’t very reliable, but we were able to relax in the Onsen. Thank you.

We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was very clean. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had poor water pressure. The staff were very kind and helpful. We would like to stay again.

The Accommodation buildings are scattered across a spacious property, offering a relaxing escape from the bustle of the city. But the greatest highlight here is the wonderful dinner. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, with many unique and unusual dishes. The chef’s dedication really shows in the food, and I was very satisfied. The Onsen is also excellent, with free-flowing natural hot spring water. I didn’t know there was such a great place in Kokonoe.

This was my second stay at this Hotel. Last time I stayed in a Japanese-style Room, and this time I had made a Reservation for a twin Room (+ an extra bed), but you kindly prepared a four-bed Room for us. Last time, the Room and Facility felt a bit dated, but this time it didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and we had a very comfortable stay. I especially loved how the pillows sank just right; I liked them so much that I wanted the same ones for myself. Also, even before check-in, you thoughtfully called to let us know that “the Room was ready earlier than expected.” We were tired after spending the whole day at Greenland in midsummer from opening time, so being able to rest in our Room right away was extremely helpful. The air conditioning worked perfectly, and it was wonderfully comfortable from the moment we walked in. As other Reviews mention, dinner did feel warm, but there were plenty of cold drinks as well as shaved ice and soft-serve ice cream available, so we didn’t find it inconvenient. Breakfast also had just the right amount of variety and was delicious. It seemed fully booked, yet we never felt crowded inside the Hotel and were able to relax comfortably. The only thing was that we went to the bath during its busiest time and had some waiting time, but it was within an acceptable range. The Onsen after a long day of activities was wonderful. The next day we used the pool, and when staff told us “You’re welcome to use the Onsen after 11:00,” we gratefully did so. The changing area also had plastic bags for swimsuits and towels prepared—it truly felt like every detail was taken care of. I would love to stay at Hotel Blanca again on our next visit to Greenland. I was looking for an Accommodation about an hour’s drive from Hakata where I could enjoy both a sauna and great food, and that’s how I found this place. It seems this long-established Ryokan has been renovated into a Ryokan with saunas in every room. I loved the Japanese-modern style. There aren’t many shared spaces, so it’s perfect for a relaxing stay-in retreat. The staff were incredibly kind. It has the warm, charming atmosphere unique to a Ryokan—different from the service at foreign-owned hotels. The meals reflected the local character of Kyushu and Oita while also trying new ideas, and everything was delicious. Dinner was wonderful, of course, and having hitsumabushi for breakfast was a first for me—such a refreshing experience. One of the condiments was yuzu kosho with grated daikon. That was also a lovely new way to enjoy it. And of course, it was domestically produced eel! The sauna let us adjust the temperature, connect via Bluetooth, and the relaxation space was very comfortable as well. Since this is a Ryokan that really lends itself to staying in, I would have appreciated slightly later check-in and check-out times. Overall, I’m very satisfied with this Ryokan. Thank you!
