The staff were exceptionally courteous, and the hospitality was outstanding. Their replies were beautifully written, and their thoughtful attention to detail made our stay truly comfortable. The meals were especially impressive—both dinner and breakfast, generously prepared with local ingredients, were absolutely delicious. Not only the food but also the carefully chosen tableware enhanced each dish and made the experience even more enjoyable. Another major highlight is the excellent location, just a short distance from Izumo Taisha Shrine. This is a wonderful Accommodation that I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Izumo. I would love to stay again.

This was the Accommodation I had wanted to stay at on my first trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Accommodation was very clean and quiet, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The Room was spacious, and the view of the reflecting pool from the terrace was beautiful. The open-air bath in the Room had free-flowing natural hot spring water, which felt wonderful. At the bar lounge, I enjoyed complimentary drinks while chatting with the staff and had a great time. I highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone looking to spend a relaxing stay for a special anniversary or simply to unwind and forget about everyday life.

This time, since I wanted an Onsen close to Yonago Airport, I chose Kaike Onsen. I was satisfied with the Room, the Onsen, and the meals. However, upon arrival: There was only one person at the front desk, and no one came to greet me at the entrance. (For some reason, when I left they saw me off the whole time?) I stopped in front of the entrance to unload my luggage, then parked my car on my own in a distant parking lot. We visited on a three-generation family trip. On the day, strong winds caused the ferry from Shikoku to be canceled. Because we were traveling from far away, the Hotel called to inform us, which we really appreciated. Fortunately, we had planned to come via a port on the Honshu side, so we arrived safely, but their thoughtfulness made us happy. We had two Japanese-style Rooms next to each other. They were typical Japanese-style Rooms and you could feel their age, but they were very clean and well maintained. The view from the Room window was spectacular. When we woke up early, we could also see the sunrise and start the day feeling refreshed. Dinner was served at table seating in a large banquet hall. It was luxurious with local ingredients, and we were completely full. The staff member serving us chatted with us about various things, which was enjoyable. For the sea bream rice cooked in a pot that we couldn’t finish, they kindly made it into rice balls so we could have it as a late-night snack. It was very delicious even when cold. We caused extra work for them, but we were truly grateful. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying. The large public bath also had an amazing view. The washing area was spacious and there was no waiting at all. It was thoroughly cleaned as well, which pleased us. In the early morning bath time, surprisingly many guests were already up early too, and it felt open and relaxing—a wonderful bath. I don’t think the building itself is new, but because everything was kept so clean it was very comfortable and pleasant to stay here. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. There were many smiles among the staff and they greeted us properly—it’s a Hotel where you can really feel how good their hospitality is.

Recently, I stayed here with my parents and my daughter and her husband. Our Room had a modern Japanese style, and we were truly moved by the panoramic view of the Sea of Japan from the Room. The water was so clear that we could have watched it forever. At night, we could see dozens of lights out on the dark sea—perhaps from squid fishing boats—and it was absolutely beautiful. The large public bath also faces the sea, and we really enjoyed soaking for a long time in the open-air bath while taking in the view. We chose the deluxe Plan for dinner. Everything was wonderful—from steamed dishes we had never tried before to mackerel shabu-shabu—but the grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) with salt was outstanding. Some Ryokan serve nodoguro, but it is often small; here it was surprisingly large. Since it was my husband’s birthday, I consulted with you in advance about arranging a surprise cake. From our messages beforehand through to the day itself, you handled everything so thoughtfully, and I’m very grateful. My husband was delighted, and we were able to celebrate with big smiles all around. Thank you again. If there’s one regret, it’s that we only stayed one night. It felt like an Accommodation that deserves at least two nights, so next time I hope to book a Multiple Night Stay! Lastly, I rated the Facility as 4 because there are some older areas here and there—for guests who might be concerned about that. However, it didn’t bother us at all during our stay, and we had no issues whatsoever.

The Hotel is located right in front of Miyajima Port, making access excellent and extremely convenient. Even before check-in and after check-out, we could use the lounge and enjoy ice cream, coffee, and other drinks. Depending on the time of day, there was also a momiji manju service, plus vouchers to redeem momiji manju at shops on Miyajima (including fried momiji), and candy ice cream after the bath—everything was thoughtfully provided. The facilities were very clean, and the buffet featured carefully prepared dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. With an all-inclusive plan that included alcohol as well, we were very satisfied overall. The lemon herb tea in the restaurant was especially delicious; we highly appreciated that it used Hiroshima lemons and herbs, to the point that we wanted to buy it. We think it would be great if it were sold in the Hotel’s souvenir corner or similar shop.

We stayed as a group of four—my older sister, my mother, my aunt, and me—to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. Thank you for the flowers and message card delivered to our Room. Having photos taken during dinner also became a wonderful keepsake. You even prepared a special outfit for the 60th birthday celebration, which truly warmed our hearts. Since it was a weekday, the baths were not crowded, which was perfect for my elderly mother and aunt. For dinner (we chose a Plan with fewer dishes because two of us are elderly), everything was elegantly seasoned, and there were still enough dishes to leave us completely satisfied. It was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life. In two years, I would like to stay again to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday.
