This was the Accommodation I had wanted to stay at on my first trip to Yamaguchi Prefecture. The Accommodation was very clean and quiet, and I was able to relax in a calm atmosphere. The Room was spacious, and the view of the reflecting pool from the terrace was beautiful. The open-air bath in the Room had free-flowing natural hot spring water, which felt wonderful. At the bar lounge, I enjoyed complimentary drinks while chatting with the staff and had a great time. I highly recommend this Accommodation for anyone looking to spend a relaxing stay for a special anniversary or simply to unwind and forget about everyday life.

The guest room was very clean, and we were able to relax and fully enjoy the semi-open-air bath. We also made a Reservation for the sake pairing Plan, and they suggested many types of sake that matched our preferences, which made it a wonderful experience. We visited on a three-generation family trip. On the day, strong winds caused the ferry from Shikoku to be canceled. Because we were traveling from far away, the Hotel called to inform us, which we really appreciated. Fortunately, we had planned to come via a port on the Honshu side, so we arrived safely, but their thoughtfulness made us happy. We had two Japanese-style Rooms next to each other. They were typical Japanese-style Rooms and you could feel their age, but they were very clean and well maintained. The view from the Room window was spectacular. When we woke up early, we could also see the sunrise and start the day feeling refreshed. Dinner was served at table seating in a large banquet hall. It was luxurious with local ingredients, and we were completely full. The staff member serving us chatted with us about various things, which was enjoyable. For the sea bream rice cooked in a pot that we couldn’t finish, they kindly made it into rice balls so we could have it as a late-night snack. It was very delicious even when cold. We caused extra work for them, but we were truly grateful. Breakfast was buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes and very satisfying. The large public bath also had an amazing view. The washing area was spacious and there was no waiting at all. It was thoroughly cleaned as well, which pleased us. In the early morning bath time, surprisingly many guests were already up early too, and it felt open and relaxing—a wonderful bath. I don’t think the building itself is new, but because everything was kept so clean it was very comfortable and pleasant to stay here. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay. There were many smiles among the staff and they greeted us properly—it’s a Hotel where you can really feel how good their hospitality is.

This time, since I wanted an Onsen close to Yonago Airport, I chose Kaike Onsen. I was satisfied with the Room, the Onsen, and the meals. However, upon arrival: There was only one person at the front desk, and no one came to greet me at the entrance. (For some reason, when I left they saw me off the whole time?) I stopped in front of the entrance to unload my luggage, then parked my car on my own in a distant parking lot. When I entered, they were assisting the previous guest and didn’t say “Welcome” or even “Please wait,” which made me feel like I wasn’t being welcomed. I first stayed about 10 years ago. The hospitality was wonderful, and since then I’ve been staying at Sennentei once every few years. This was my fourth visit. This time, I informed them in advance that a family member has difficulty walking. Upon arrival, they kindly prepared a parking space close to the entrance when welcoming us in the parking lot—thank you very much. They also showed great consideration with our Room, and our whole family had an enjoyable stay. Perhaps because of the season, there was also a free firefly viewing tour, and we were moved to see fireflies for the first time. It became a great memory. Next time, I’d like to stay in a higher-ranked Room! Thank you again, and we look forward to coming back!

We stayed as a group of four—my older sister, my mother, my aunt, and me—to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. Thank you for the flowers and message card delivered to our Room. Having photos taken during dinner also became a wonderful keepsake. You even prepared a special outfit for the 60th birthday celebration, which truly warmed our hearts. Since it was a weekday, the baths were not crowded, which was perfect for my elderly mother and aunt. For dinner (we chose a Plan with fewer dishes because two of us are elderly), everything was elegantly seasoned, and there were still enough dishes to leave us completely satisfied. It was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life. In two years, I would like to stay again to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday.

We traveled from Aichi Prefecture to visit Tottori and Shimane. After sightseeing at Matsue Castle, we made a Reservation at this Ryokan. Even though it was the day of our trip, the front desk staff were very helpful, and the Room and overall environment were excellent.\n\nIf you’re heading from Matsue Castle to Izumo Taisha, I highly recommend this Ryokan.\n\nThe morning clam miso soup was delicious.\n\nI would love to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much!

The staff member who welcomed us was outstanding, and the drinks and light snacks in the lobby were excellent, giving us the immediate impression that this was a top-class Hotel. The meals were delicious and high quality, and we were very satisfied with the thorough explanations and attentive service despite how busy it seemed. The location is great, with beautiful views of the Seto Inland Sea and a well-maintained building; it was comfortable, and because it faces west we could enjoy the scenery throughout without worrying about direct sunlight. The private bath was also spacious, clean, and comfortable. The late-night curry service was perfectly timed when we felt a bit hungry, which increased our satisfaction even more. If I had to mention anything, aside from the person who first assisted us and the staff member who served us at dinner, some others—while doing their best—seemed inexperienced; also, the building felt somewhat like a retreat facility rather than having more distinctive character.

This was our first stay in about two years, and it was an even better trip than before. It was my first trip with my mother, so I was worried whether she would like it, but she was truly impressed—she said the bath and the meals were unlike anything she had ever experienced. Thank you as well for the birthday gift. We would love to stay again.

The Hotel is located right in front of Miyajima Port, making access excellent and extremely convenient. Even before check-in and after check-out, we could use the lounge and enjoy ice cream, coffee, and other drinks. Depending on the time of day, there was also a momiji manju service, plus vouchers to redeem momiji manju at shops on Miyajima (including fried momiji), and candy ice cream after the bath—everything was thoughtfully provided. The facilities were very clean, and the buffet featured carefully prepared dishes made with locally sourced ingredients. With an all-inclusive plan that included alcohol as well, we were very satisfied overall. The lemon herb tea in the restaurant was especially delicious; we highly appreciated that it used Hiroshima lemons and herbs, to the point that we wanted to buy it. We think it would be great if it were sold in the Hotel’s souvenir corner or similar shop.

It was my first time staying in Hagi, and I was moved by the wonderful scenery that truly lives up to the name “Hagi Hakkei.” I asked to change dinner from 6:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. so I could watch the sunset from my Room, and I was able to take my time enjoying the sun slowly sink

Recently, I stayed here with my parents and my daughter and her husband. Our Room had a modern Japanese style, and we were truly moved by the panoramic view of the Sea of Japan from the Room. The water was so clear that we could have watched it forever. At night, we could see dozens of lights out on the dark sea—perhaps from squid fishing boats—and it was absolutely beautiful. The large public bath also faces the sea, and we really enjoyed soaking for a long time in the open-air bath while taking in the view. We chose the deluxe Plan for dinner. Everything was wonderful—from steamed dishes we had never tried before to mackerel shabu-shabu—but the grilled nodoguro (blackthroat seaperch) with salt was outstanding. Some Ryokan serve nodoguro, but it is often small; here it was surprisingly large. Since it was my husband’s birthday, I consulted with you in advance about arranging a surprise cake. From our messages beforehand through to the day itself, you handled everything so thoughtfully, and I’m very grateful. My husband was delighted, and we were able to celebrate with big smiles all around. Thank you again. If there’s one regret, it’s that we only stayed one night. It felt like an Accommodation that deserves at least two nights, so next time I hope to book a Multiple Night Stay! Lastly, I rated the Facility as 4 because there are some older areas here and there—for guests who might be concerned about that. However, it didn’t bother us at all during our stay, and we had no issues whatsoever.
