The Onsen is part of the Shimoda Onsen Village, boasting over 700 years of history. The water is colorless, transparent, and smooth to the touch with a perfectly balanced temperature. The baths are cleaned daily with fresh water replenished, ensuring you can always enjoy a clean and refreshing flow of onsen water.

Komatsuya Nagisakan, located along the coast of Ryuko, is a property renowned for its Amakusa sunsets and ocean views. Amakusa, nurtured by its warm and abundant nature, is a treasure trove of ingredients. Every morning, we personally select only the finest ingredients from the market. Fresh fish is prepared on the same day to enhance the natural flavors of the ingredients.

We proudly serve a kaiseki meal featuring fresh sashimi directly delivered from Amakusa and Ushibuka, as well as carefully selected local fresh ingredients. The Onsen features a natural hot spring with a pH of 8.7, classified as a mildly alkaline simple hot spring. Its soft texture is gentle on the skin, providing minimal irritation.

"Vigan Ocean Villa" is located on a cape in Kami-Amakusa, about a one-hour drive from Kumamoto City. This exclusive villa offers a single guest room with a private open-air bath. Enjoy a tranquil and uninterrupted stay. Experience an extraordinary atmosphere in the South Provence-style interior. Step through the expansive windows onto the balcony, where you can take in panoramic views of the Ariake Sea and surrounding islands. The balcony is equipped with a BBQ grill. Fishing rods are available for free rental, allowing you to enjoy leisurely fishing. You can cook or BBQ your catch and savor it. The kitchen is fully equipped with various cooking appliances, enabling you to enjoy preparing meals. Spend quality time with activities like a bonfire, admiring sunsets, stargazing, or morning sunrises, and relax in the open-air bath at your preferred time. A private sauna for one person is also available for a chill-out session. Please feel free to make use of the provided amenities. Parking is available for two cars right in front of the villa. Additionally, there is a fire pit near the entrance where you can enjoy a bonfire.
