I travel out many times throughout the year. I was truly won over by how delicious the food was here. The rice was cooked perfectly! Ayu sashimi (my first time), salt-grilled ayu (the seasoning, grilling, and timing of service), and even the soup—everything was flawless. From now on, your salt-grilled ayu will likely be my benchmark for taste. This may sound presumptuous, but I believe it’s simple dishes that really show a chef’s skill. The yukata in the Room were crisp and nicely starched, so even someone like me who doesn’t usually like yukata could wear it comfortably. I also appreciated the detox water after bathing.

We stayed as a three-generation family of six. Since it was the Obon holiday period, we expected crowds everywhere, but unlike a Hotel, it was much quieter than we imagined and we were able to relax and enjoy a truly wonderful time. The interior has high ceilings and feels very open, and it was spacious enough for six adults to stay comfortably. Because of the typhoon, it got so chilly at night that we turned on the heater, but the air conditioning worked well and kept us comfortable. The Onsen was also delightful, and the beautiful greenery visible from the window was very soothing. This time we ate out for dinner, but next time we’d like to use the hot plate and enjoy cooking together indoors. (One of us doesn’t like insects, so we’re glad we didn’t do a terrace BBQ. There were no bugs inside.) We also really appreciated having a washing machine (with dryer function) and detergent provided—it was extremely helpful when we suddenly needed to do laundry. Our parents were very happy as well and are already saying they want to come again, so we would love to visit again. Thank you so much for such a wonderful stay!!

This is a small Hotel right in front of Lake Chuzenji, and we had a wonderful trip thanks to the thoughtful hospitality of all the staff. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented and delicious, and we truly enjoyed them. My elderly mother was also very pleased. This is a highly recommended Hotel, and we would love to stay again if we have the opportunity.

I fell ill and had to ask my brother’s family to go in my place. My nephew loves rice, and I have never seen him eat bread. However, dinner was bread-based, so they assumed he wouldn’t eat much. Instead, they said everything—the dishes and the bread—was delicious, and the three of them finished a meal meant for four. They also told me breakfast was truly wonderful. My brother and his wife, who are constantly worried about their son, said they had a very comfortable Hotel stay thanks to the excellent care from all the staff. Thank you very much for your kindness. Thank you as well for the get-well gift for me. June is both my birthday month and your Hotel’s celebration month, so I was disappointed that I couldn’t visit myself. I hope to visit again soon.

Although we were concerned about traveling during the Obon season and with unstable weather, we arrived safely with no issues on the roads. The welcome was attentive as always, and the familiar atmosphere made us feel at ease. The Room was clean, and the open-air bath was at a comfortable temperature, allowing us to relax. The meals featured many locally sourced ingredients, were perfectly portioned, and truly delicious. We had another wonderful stay and will visit again.

When we arrived at Omoide Roman-kan by car, staff were already there and guided us to the parking area. Their service was polite and pleasant, leaving a great first impression. In the lobby, you can enjoy as many drinks as you like. They had draft beer, sparkling wine, and sake as well. It’s available not only at check-in but also after bathing, and they also offer ice pops. No matter what you have, there are no extra charges. The meals offered a wide variety of dishes, and everything was delicious. We were happy to be able to enjoy local specialties. Here too, no matter how much alcohol you drink, there is no additional fee. Our Room was a twin Room, but it was very spacious and impeccably clean. The sofa and cushions were the perfect place to relax. The baths were excellent as well—the tea open-air bath felt wonderful. It’s also great that there is a separate riverside open-air bath. Large public bath before dinner, riverside open-air bath after dinner… We went in both before and after breakfast too. The massage chairs were also free to use. This was our first time staying at an all-inclusive Accommodation, and it exceeded our expectations in every way. We would love to stay again.

I stayed for two nights starting July 22. This time, my Room faced the Nasu mountain range, so the view was wonderful. The meals were delicious again. Since this was my second stay in July, you kindly changed the menu for me. Next time, I’ll visit with my children and their family.

The front desk staff were very kind, courteous, and helpful. I was also surprised by the cable car from the parking lot—it was a wonderful experience. We enjoyed both the private family bath and the large public bath, and felt truly refreshed. Although our stay was No Meals Included, we took a stroll around Ikaho’s Onsen town and had a relaxing time. The Room was spacious enough, and we had no inconvenience with the Facility amenities. This is an Accommodation we would love to stay at again if we have the chance to visit Ikaho. Thank you very much.

I was able to relax in a clean, comfortable, and pleasantly spacious Room that was easy to use. Because it was a bit foggy, we couldn’t see much of the Kanto Plain, but we still enjoyed the in-room open-air Onsen bath. We usually eat dinner early, and we weren’t kept waiting—one delicious dish after another was served at just the right pace, with plenty of variety, and we were completely satisfied. It was my first time in Tsukuba, but it’s close to Tokyo, and we were able to see beautiful flowers at the perfect time—azaleas and mountain wisteria in bloom, and nemophila at full peak. I would definitely like to stop by again when I visit Tsukuba. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I stayed here for a Mt. Tsukuba hike. I really appreciated being able to pick up the ropeway discount tickets even before check-in. The Onsen after the hike was incredibly soothing. The bath area has been beautifully renovated, and the amenities (POLA) were excellent. The view of the Kanto Plain from the Room is stunning, and the night scenery is beautiful as well. When I woke up in the morning, everything was pure white—I enjoyed a morning bath surrounded by clouds and a delicious Japanese breakfast. It wasn’t clearly stated, but free drinks like coffee and apple juice were available, which was a pleasant surprise. Both the restaurant staff and front desk staff were very courteous and left a great impression. I’ll definitely stay again.

I made this Reservation on behalf of my father and mother. They really liked the Onsen, and they said the breakfast style—taking small side dishes—made it easy even for my father, who has limited use of his hands. Last time they took more food than they could finish, so this time we chose the lowest-priced Plan, but they were still satisfied with the meals. They love the hot spring water. We look forward to staying again.

The Room was clean, and the air conditioning worked well, so it was very comfortable. The services are great—manga, a choice of amenities, one complimentary ice cream, and a Japanese sake tasting set. The lighting in the Room felt a little dim for reading manga, but you can also read in the manga corner. Great value at this price with all these services. The front desk staff were also very polite. Next time I’d like to stay with breakfast included.

My spouse and I stayed here after a round of golf. Being able to stay at the adjacent Hotel after golf was very convenient, with no travel needed. It was also great to be able to soak in the Onsen after golf and relieve our fatigue. Dinner was a buffet, but it was in the same venue as lunch during golf, so we thought choosing a course meal might have been better. At breakfast there was someone cooking omelets, so we feel having a live kitchen at dinner as well would improve the quality of the buffet. While temperatures in the Kanto region were around 35°C, Tsumagoi Village had a high of about 28°C, which made it very comfortable. We would like to visit again as a summer retreat.

We stayed here again this year following last year. The Room was clean, equipped with necessary amenities and comfortable yukata, and there is even a small but satisfying public bath. The izakaya next door is very convenient for dinner. This time, we were especially moved when we opened the Room door after check-in and saw the stunning sunset through the window.

The Room and bathroom were very clean. The coffee was especially delicious. Thank you. However, the refrigerator under the TV did not cool properly, and the mineral water remained lukewarm until the next day (even after adjusting the temperature settings).

My son planned a relaxed, unhurried trip to visit Kasama Inari Shrine, Nakaminato Market, and buy melons in Hokota, and chose this Hotel for our stay. The Hotel itself may be older, but it has been beautifully renovated. The lobby and entrance are stylish spaces, and the view opens from the inlet out to the sea right in front of you—making a great first impression. The Room was also well designed with unnecessary items kept to a minimum. It felt clean and comfortable. Dinner was pleasantly healthy for us seniors, and we enjoyed it very much. It seemed a little light for my son’s generation, but the late-night ramen service is a nice touch (we missed it because our dinner was late). We wanted to enjoy dinner quietly and at a relaxed pace, but unfortunately it was noisy that day because we were dining alongside a large group of older guests. Breakfast was buffet-style with a good variety across different categories, and everything was tasty. Overall, it offered excellent value for money, and it’s a Hotel we would like to visit again.

It was great to be able to stay at an Accommodation with an Onsen just 5 minutes from Nikko Station. The Room could also be booked as a twin for one person, and I was able to relax in the spacious Room. I rarely had to wait for the elevator, which was nice. The breakfast had a limited selection and wasn’t as good as I expected, but it offered both Japanese and Western options, so I think it can accommodate international guests as well. However, during the time I was eating, I didn’t see any other guests dining, so I’m not entirely sure. Thank you very much.

Mount Myogi rose like a folding screen, and the scenery was spectacular! The Hotel was clean, and the Onsen had great water. Meals were buffet-style for both breakfast and dinner. Unfortunately, it wasn’t food I’d want to eat again... There are many sightseeing spots nearby, so we were able to stop by various places and had a very fulfilling trip.

I stayed here for a trip to Mt. Tsukuba Shrine, the Omido pilgrimage, and the Makabe Hina Festival. I also used the private bath, and both the Room and bath were great. This time I booked with breakfast only (no dinner), but breakfast was served in a half-buffet style and the rice was delicious. Next time I’d like to stay with two meals included. Some Reviews mentioned that the toilet is small, but the Room was very clean and nice. I’d like to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed for one night with a friend. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen, knitting while watching dramas, and spending time at a relaxed pace surrounded by nature! The cabin was well-equipped with various utensils and seasonings, which was very convenient. Additionally, the distance from neighboring cabins allowed us to enjoy our stay without worrying about others. I would love to visit other SANU locations as well!
