This was my third stay. I was worried about road restrictions due to the heavy rain, but everything was fine. The meals were delicious, and there is a semi-open-air bath with a view of the fishing lights. I’m planning to visit by motorcycle next year.

I visited with three friends. The Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The food was also delicious, making it a wonderful memory. It was my first time visiting Wakasa, and I would love to come again.

We thoroughly enjoyed the full course of fugu dishes—they were absolutely delicious. We were told that you can’t see the fireworks unless you go all the way to the seaside, but after our meal we were so full we decided to watch from our Room. To our surprise, they were right in front of us, and we were completely satisfied without even going outside. As for souvenirs, we ended up with an entire lineup of canned mackerel, and we’re looking forward to savoring how good it is.

We stayed on Friday and Saturday. On the way to our Room, we were soothed by what was probably the scent of hinoki cypress. For dinner, we chose French cuisine. It was served as a course meal and was very delicious—we were completely full! The Onsen water temperature felt a bit hot; our 5th-grade daughter got out after a short time. Amenities such as cleansing oil, face wash, toner, and emulsion were provided in the Room in single-use sachets. We had breakfast inside the Ryokan the next morning; there was a wide variety of dishes, and it was excellent! The staff at the Ryokan kindly spoke to us each time, which made us happy. We were able to relax at a leisurely pace. We would love to stay again if we have the chance!

I thought the temaki sushi dinner was a really great idea. It looks like the kids would enjoy it too. The bath is also an Onsen, and my skin felt so smooth afterward. The view is outstanding!! It’s right in front of Sunset Beach. I hope I can come again...

Staying in this relocated traditional house made me feel pleasantly nostalgic. It was also great that the bath was available 24 hours a day—my skin felt smooth and moisturized afterward. And above all, the seafood was outstanding. Every dish felt like a main course, and then the final blow was the nodoguro rice bowl—I thought my stomach would burst, but it was so delicious I couldn’t leave any and finished it all. Even though I wasn’t fully hungry yet, breakfast was incredibly good as well. It was my first time eating squid with grated daikon—what an eye-opener; I’m going to try it at home. The rice was delicious too, and then there was even abalone-and-mozuku rice porridge with a nice kick of ginger. Once again, I ate everything. I was afraid to step on the scale after getting home. But I definitely want to come back.

It was my first trip to Wakasa, and I made the booking after watching the weather closely. Part of the first-floor area was under construction, but it was kept clean and left a good impression. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. The view from the window was the sea. Given its age, some signs of wear are understandable. Overall, it felt like a quiet and pleasant Hotel. The meals were plentiful, and I thought they tasted great. Next time, I’d like to stay again when traveling to Mikata Five Lakes with my siblings and their spouses.

The Hotel offers a great range of services to fully enjoy your time on-site, including complimentary drinks in the lobby, a manga library, one hour of free karaoke, and massage chairs. The all-you-can-drink alcohol option at dinner, including local sake, was also very good. As for the food, many dishes felt like typical buffet fare, and the sashimi selection was limited to tuna, squid, and salmon, so it did not feel upscale at all. The crab also felt like standard buffet crab. The heshiko ochazuke at breakfast was extremely delicious. My child was delighted to experience karaoke for the first time. What we especially appreciated was that both the washing machines and dryers could be used free of charge. They were lined up in the laundry room, and we could use any available one. We usually end up taking home heavy, smelly clothes after swimming in the sea; although we didn’t use the dryer this time, being able to wash and spin-dry everything made things much easier after returning home. Ryusho Museum is right next door to the Hotel—we could even see its beautiful building from the lobby windows—and we enjoyed an evening walk there as well. Everyone at the Hotel was very kind. Thanks to all these services, we had a wonderful time and it became a truly memorable stay. Thank you very much.

We chose this Hotel because all Rooms face the ocean. In the Room, a pitcher of cold water is provided, and there is also an electric kettle for boiling water. Drinking water is available in the Room as well, and if you bring your pitcher, they will refill it with cold water. The bath was very clean. In the changing area, plastic bags were provided with a note saying to use them for wet towels, which was appreciated.

I ended up enjoying three baths—at night, midnight, and in the morning—and found it pleasantly uncrowded each time. The staff at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful—both male and female employees made us feel welcome. One minor disappointment was that there were no yuk

Everything was high quality, and we had a very comfortable stay. The various services, including the JAN Terrace, were excellent. This is a wonderful Hotel that we would definitely like to visit again.

Thank you very much for your hospitality! Thank you for kindly accommodating our Room change. After check-in, we enjoyed a welcome drink and were able to relax at our leisure. The parking lot was conveniently located next to the Hotel, and the view from the Room was great. The only disappointment was that the sauce katsudon was no longer available at breakfast. The soba noodles and simmered thick fried tofu were very delicious. When we visit Takefu again, we will stay here again. Thank you very much.

This Accommodation was located right in front of Lake Suigetsu. The staff, who were very knowledgeable about the local area, were a pleasure to talk to and provided great service, and the blackthroat seaperch and other local ingredients were truly delicious.
