With “tranquility” and “space” as its guiding themes, a 26-room luxury Hotel will open in the mountains of Atami in August 2026. Every room features a private Onsen, offering a night spent in quiet calm just away from the bustle of town. For dining, we also offer a full-course menu crafted by a chef devoted to Shizuoka’s finest ingredients. In our lounge overlooking Atami’s sky and sea, enjoy drinks and light bites at your leisure while soaking in a footbath. Experience the serene beauty of "Wabi-Sabi" and the elegance of "Miyabi." This traditional Irimoya-style architecture, partially two-story, features a grand entrance adorned with calligraphy and a Japanese garden with majestic pine trees. The interior incorporates shades of "blue," inspired by the sky and sea of Atami. A blue checkered rug and blue tiles from Sugiura Pottery in Tajimi, covering the kitchen walls, beautifully complement the vibrant charm of Kano school folding screens.

Experience the ultimate private resort. We offer a serene space with a traditional Japanese-style atmosphere reminiscent of an old folk house. A newly installed deck for glamping and an outdoor swing are also available! On the approximately 50-square-meter deck, you can enjoy forest bathing while gazing at Sagami Bay and Hatsushima in the distance, or relax at a nearby Onsen. The Atami Ajiroyama area is a tranquil location surrounded by trees, away from the hustle and bustle of the town. "Atami Kaiun" is an independent Property, allowing you to maintain complete privacy without encountering any staff. Our Facility, designed in the style of a traditional Japanese folk house Ryokan, offers various amenities to enhance your stay. The spacious stone bath, large enough for two people, allows you to enjoy a relaxing bath while taking in the outdoor scenery. (Please note that Onsen is not currently available.) The earthen floor features a wood-burning stove, the living room is equipped with a table with a sunken kotatsu, and there is a NET-compatible TV, among other amenities, to make your stay in this purely Japanese-style folk house villa even more enjoyable.
