Getting to Enoura Observatory on a previous trip was difficult due to limited access, so I was a bit worried since it’s nearby. However, the careful pick-up and drop-off at the station put me at ease. I wanted to see the ocean, so next time I’ll request a Room with a better sea view. I thoroughly enjoyed the chef’s outstanding skill, the variety of tableware, and the beautiful presentation (and of course everything tasted wonderful) — it was a feast for both the eyes and the palate. They also served rare local fish with superb knife work, and I was able to savor fish I had never seen before. The flavor truly comes through because of that precise technique. As I don’t eat much, I asked for smaller portions; it must have been difficult to prepare, but they accommodated me thoughtfully and I was able to enjoy the meal. I look forward to visiting again for the cuisine next time as well.

The meals, hospitality, Room, views, and bath—everything made for a wonderful stay. I have never had rice this delicious before. The tea was also excellent, and the grilled dried horse mackerel at breakfast was outstanding. In any case, I’m adding this Accommodation to my top five places I want to stay again. Thank you very much for your hospitality the other day. Although it was only for one night, I was able to relax deeply. This was my long-admired Accommodation, and my first visit. I was truly able to relax in a space where all I could see from the Room was greenery, and all I could hear were the calls of cicadas. The two large public baths had slightly different temperatures between the indoor bath and the open-air bath, so even I, who am not fond of very hot water, could choose what suited me. The meals also featured seasonal ingredients beautifully and were absolutely delicious. I sincerely appreciate the staff’s thoughtful, unobtrusive hospitality. I would love to return in a different season.

I have been staying here for some time, and recently I always stay for three nights. Each time, the property is quiet and thoroughly cleaned throughout. The wonderful, delicious meals were excellent, and both the open-air bath and the large public bath were spotless. The background music was also pleasant. The Room has two rooms with a veranda, and it was the perfect size for just my spouse and me. The staff’s service was also good.

I gave my elderly mother, who can go anywhere on her own, a solo trip as a gift. When she returned home, she was truly delighted and spoke very highly of the wonderful service provided by the Ryokan staff. The meals were also delicious, and above all, it seems she was able to relax completely. Thank you very much. I plan to give her another trip as a gift once more within this year, and I would appreciate your kind support when that time comes.

We had a very pleasant stay at this long-established Ryokan, with attentive service, carefully prepared dishes, spacious rooms, and tasteful furnishings that were elegant without being overdone. We especially loved the open-air bath with just the right temperature, set close to the mountains. We would definitely like to stay again.

Everything—from the cuisine and the Onsen to the private dining room prepared for our meals—was wonderful, and we were able to truly relax from the bottom of our hearts. While many Accommodations have changed before and after COVID, I can truly relax with peace of mind knowing the quality here is consistently the same whenever I visit. The cuisine delighted my eyes, satisfied my palate, and deeply moved me. The hot spring was excellent, and the Room was exceptionally comfortable. This time, for the first time, I encountered deer and wild boar and felt the mystical power of nature as well. Thank you for such a wonderful escape from everyday life. I stayed here while traveling around Odawara and Atami. It was drizzling, but the Hotel is directly connected to the station, and places to explore like Minaka Odawara are close by, so it was very convenient. The large public bath amenities were also great—FANCL and Sekkisei. Breakfast included Odawara specialties, and I was satisfied. However, I felt the Room lighting was dim. I know home and a Hotel are different, but I wondered if Hotels usually have so little lighting. It was a bit inconvenient that the elevators took a long time to arrive. I don’t think there are too few elevators, but the wait time felt long. Also, it would have been better if checkout were at 11:00. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance. Thank you very much.

This was my first stay in Yugawara Onsen. The water is quite hot, which I personally like. The dishes were beautifully plated and a delight to look at as well. We were also very grateful to the staff who assisted us during meals—they were always smiling and very attentive. This isn’t specific to this Hotel, but regarding children’s meals: when we choose Child Sharing Existing Bedding and order only the meal, most places serve something like a kids’ set. Even if it’s paid, we would really appreciate having the option to choose just rice and miso soup. Our 2-year-old was kindly provided rice and miso soup free of charge. For our 5-year-old, we felt it wouldn’t be right not to order a meal, so we did—but we would be very thankful if there were options to choose from. I don’t want to end up finishing what my child leaves behind instead of enjoying the wonderful food myself—an admittedly selfish request. The dried horse mackerel at breakfast was absolutely delicious. We look forward to staying again when we visit Yugawara.

We chose this place because it was all-inclusive, and both the baths and the service were excellent. In particular, as someone in the same industry, I was truly impressed by the attentiveness and consideration shown by the Nepalese staff in the dining area. Thanks to them, we had a wonderful time. Unlimited drinks from check-in to check-out was more than I could ask for as a beer lover—I enjoyed plenty. The open-air bath wasn’t too hot and felt great! We’d love to come back again! I stayed in a newly renovated Room with an open-air bath. The Room was spacious, and the open-air bath was large enough to relax in comfortably, which was great. The food was carefully prepared and very delicious.

Amazing value for money! The food was delicious, and the owner was very friendly. It made me want to come back again. It probably depends on the season, but I was very satisfied to be able to use the open-air bath privately so often! Next time, I’d love to go boat fishing—please!

First of all, the staff were wonderful. Many international team members were working there, and they were well trained and welcomed us with warm smiles. I misunderstood the breakfast time and arrived late to my set meal seat, but I was not rushed at all and was able to enjoy a delicious meal. Everything was very clean, including the bedding sheets. This time I used the Yugawara Smile Coupon and got a great deal on my stay, but even without the coupon I felt it offers excellent value for money. It was only one night, but I was able to relax. This is my favorite Accommodation, and I have stayed here several times. Because it’s a detached log cabin, you can relax in nature without worrying about others. Outside the windows is lush greenery, and taking a bath while listening to birdsong is truly soothing. The meals are delicious every time, and all the staff are kind—an Accommodation where you feel right at home. With Shuttle Service available, it’s easy to get there even by train, and it’s an Accommodation I want to visit again and again. I’ll be back in a different season. Thank you very much.

I visited in search of an Onsen that is not chlorinated and does not use circulation. As expected, there was no chlorine smell, and the water was gentle and very satisfying. The meals were carefully prepared and truly delicious—I left completely full. The building is old, which can’t be helped, but the excellent hot spring water and food more than made up for it, so overall I was very satisfied. One episode that left a strong impression: After checkout, the attendant came to see us off at the entrance. After saying goodbye, we headed to the parking lot a short distance away (it took us some time to finish packing). When we later drove past the entrance, we realized she had been waiting in the heat just to see us off! She kindly stayed until the very end, and I was deeply touched by her warm hospitality.
