I visited to experience an auberge.\nThe food was wonderful, and the service was kind and welcoming, making my stay warm and comfortable.\nI would definitely like to come again.

True to its name, the baths were excellent. The large public bath was spacious, and the open-air bath in the Room was a comfortable size, so we were able to fully enjoy the baths. The meals also offered a wide variety; we had rice with simmered golden eye snapper and left completely satisfied. The rice was especially delicious, and we ate more than we should have. We would love to stay again.

With a homely atmosphere and very kind staff, I had a truly comfortable stay. Every dish was delicious, and I was completely satisfied. The Facility was well cleaned and felt very fresh and spotless—an Accommodation where I could really relax. I also appreciated the warm hospitality from all the staff. I have wonderful memories of the Accommodation’s atmosphere and hospitality from my first stay, and this time I returned for the first time in seven years. I heard that during the COVID period you improved the parking area and the path to the Accommodation, and it was even easier to access than before. The atmosphere is still just as lovely, making it perfect for a relaxing stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. I especially recommend the spiny lobster sashimi and the simmered golden eye snapper. This time, I also asked in advance for a birthday surprise for my friend, and you kindly accommodated my request. My friend was truly delighted, and I’m so glad I asked. Thank you very much for your pleasant hospitality and service. Above all, one of Hana Noren’s greatest charms is Toi Onsen, which helped melt away my everyday fatigue. At night I enjoyed the bath in my Room, and in the morning I woke up early to use the private bath. I truly love this time spent forgetting daily noise—the sound of flowing Onsen water and birdsong brought exceptional comfort. Thank you again for another wonderful stay. Thank you for welcoming us with such warm hospitality! We booked a Room with an open-air bath, and it felt more open than we expected, which made us a bit nervous, so we used it early in the morning and at night when it seemed like no one would be around. The meals were also delicious, and we were very satisfied! We ate so much we could barely move.

If you’re craving delicious fish, this is highly recommended! You can enjoy truly tasty fish until you’re completely satisfied. Of course, the Room is also comfortable, and it’s a nice bonus to have a view of Mt. Fuji! The horse mackerel at breakfast was so good that I bought some to take home on the way back. A wonderful Accommodation.

It was an extremely satisfying stay, and above all, the meals were outstanding. I was only able to have dinner, but everything was carefully prepared, from the seasoning to the presentation. I also personally really appreciated that the meal was not served in the Room, but could be enjoyed in a spacious dining area. The view from the dining area was superb.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Overall, we were satisfied with everything—the bath, the meals, and the service. We had a wonderful time. The in-room open-air bath while looking out at the sea was very comfortable. The large public bath was also very spacious and not crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and we enjoyed them very much—especially the grilled abalone and shabu-shabu. We deducted a few points because the parking lot is far away (which could be difficult in rainy weather), there are limited choices for meal times, the Room does not have an automatic lock, and noise from the hallway carries easily, but overall we think it is a great Accommodation that we can recommend to friends.

This was my first stay, and I was very satisfied with both the large public bath and the breakfast. The Room didn’t feel cramped at all, and I was able to relax comfortably. Walking around town was fun, but it was hotter than expected, so I ended up drenched in sweat and completely exhausted. After rinsing off in the large public bath, I really didn’t feel like going back out, so the complimentary late-night soba service was truly appreciated. (The half-size portion was perfect as a light supper after eating out.) At breakfast, I loved being able to enjoy small portions of local specialties, and it felt like a great value. This is an Accommodation I would definitely like to stay at again.

The Facilities are new, and all the staff were lively and hardworking—it was wonderful. The meals felt so healthy that you’d feel better just by staying here, and even the tea in the lobby made me feel refreshed and detoxed. It was that kind of Ryokan. I deducted one star for the baths because I’m hoping to bring my elderly mother next time, but she has trouble walking, and I worry the stairs before entering the baths might be too difficult. Other than that, the Room was spacious, the food was delicious, and it was a great Accommodation.

This was our first time staying here. The Room had a beautiful ocean view, and the location was excellent. We were also glad it came with a bath. What surprised us most was how delicious the food was. The sashimi was wonderful, and both the fish and meat dishes felt like high-end French cuisine. We chose a Japanese breakfast, which also impressed us with its variety and outstanding flavor. During our stay, there was a fireworks festival at Toi Coast, so we drove about 10 minutes to watch. We could also see a luxury cruise ship on the sea, making it a very memorable fireworks display. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.

My second stay, following last winter. Last time I came by car. After sightseeing at Owakudani and other spots, I followed the navigation system and didn’t really know where it was, but this time I used the mountain railway and was surprised to find it was very close to Sounzan Station. Even on the walk from the station, I felt welcomed by a pleasant breeze and birdsong, and arrived at the Accommodation in great spirits. The attendant who looked after us was the same as last year. Their cheerful manner and excellent timing in serving meals were unchanged. The Room and shared areas were just as spotless as before—not a speck of dust—making everything feel wonderfully refreshing. The open-air bath assigned to each Room is located a short distance away, and ours was excellent again this time. With cuckoos calling more beautifully around this season, I could truly relax in both sound and hot water. The meals were delicious as before: a soup with pike conger eel (hamo) and junsai; seasonal ingredients like Manganji peppers with superb seasoning; gourd “kaminari-boshi,” which I hadn’t tasted in ages; plus breakfast highlights such as the vegetable salad and dressing, perfectly grilled salted salmon (both seasoning and doneness), and fresh yuba served at just the right moment. An Accommodation I’d love to return to for its hospitality.

While Tokyo was experiencing relentless extreme heat every day, we thoroughly enjoyed the coolness of the highlands. Early in the morning, we could see Mt. Fuji from our Room. Perhaps because it is under the Tokyu Harvest brand, many guests were on the older side, and maybe by chance there were no inbound tour groups, so it was quiet and relaxing overall in both the restaurant and the baths. The front desk staff were also very friendly and pleasant, which we really appreciated. The Facility itself may not be new, but it has been renovated and felt clean, so there were no issues at all. Although it is located at an altitude of 700 m and takes a bit of time to reach from lower areas, we would definitely like to visit again.

Four of us stayed here on a girls’ trip. We booked a guaranteed Mt. Fuji view Room and were thrilled to see such a beautiful Mt. Fuji! The Room had a nostalgic Showa-era feel, but it came with basic amenities and tea, and since we only stayed one night and didn’t spend much time in the Room, it was more than sufficient. The meals (with breakfast and dinner included) were delicious, and there was so much food we couldn’t finish it all even though we wanted to try more. In the morning, we could hear Japanese bush warblers singing, which felt wonderfully refreshing, and seeing majestic Mt. Fuji made it an unforgettable memory! If we have the chance, we’d love to visit again.

Thank you for taking care of us during our glamping stay. We were satisfied with everything, including the Room, ingredients, and service. High-quality BBQ ingredients were also provided. There was no toilet in the Room, but the shared toilets were nearby, very clean, and not an issue at all. We could also see Mt. Fuji from the Room, and our whole family was very happy with our stay. We will definitely come again.
