Auberge Hanaki is a culinary Ryokan located in Izu-Ito Onsen, exclusively accommodating two groups per day. Bansuiro Fukuzumi is a historic Onsen accommodation in Hakone Yumoto, established in 1625 during the Kan'ei era, with its own private hot spring source. During the late Edo to Meiji periods, it hosted notable figures such as the 15th Shogun Tokugawa Yoshinobu, Yukichi Fukuzawa, Hirobumi Ito, and Takamori Saigo. In 2002, it became the first active Ryokan to be designated as an Important Cultural Property of Japan. In the spring of 2017, after about a year and a half of silence, a new chapter began. Founded in 1662. A history woven by Onsen waters—Edo, Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, Reiwa. Since then, many guests—including members of the Imperial Family—have continued to visit.What captivates visitors is our rare, highly beneficial spring water found only here: it contains all three celebrated skin-beautifying types—sulfur springs, sulfate springs, and bicarbonate springs.
