Last time, we arrived late and had No Meals Included. It was such a great Accommodation that we were disappointed, so this time we added a BBQ dinner and checked in early for a do-over. Even though it was midsummer, it was cooler from the evening and we could enjoy the BBQ, and the local ingredients provided were unbelievably delicious. There was plenty of food, and we even had a BBQ breakfast with what was left over! We were told rice wasn’t included, so we bought some at Roadside Station Onan no Sato and brought it with us. Maybe because of the BBQ smoke, even though it’s in the mountains, there seemed to be fewer bugs for some reason. As always, the inside was clean, easy to spend time in, and our whole family enjoyed a comfortable stay! Considering the price as well, this is the best Accommodation. Thank you to the owner. We’ll come again someday!

The guest room was very clean, and we were able to relax and fully enjoy the semi-open-air bath. We also made a Reservation for the sake pairing Plan, and they suggested many types of sake that matched our preferences, which made it a wonderful experience. We made a same-day Reservation for a family of four, and were truly impressed by the warm, attentive hospitality. The Ryokan has a wonderful sense of history and is beautifully maintained, making our stay very comfortable. Located right next to Izumo Taisha Shrine, we were able to visit early in the cool morning, enjoy a delicious local breakfast at the Ryokan, and take our time shopping afterward.

We planned a last-minute trip as a couple, and never expected to find such a wonderful Accommodation available during the Obon holidays at such an affordable price. Dinner was impressive, featuring dishes that brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients, served on Hagi-yaki–style ceramic tableware. The buffet breakfast was also full of delicious options. While the annex is not very large, it felt newly finished and was comfortable. Above all, the location alone—an expansive view of the majestic Sea of Japan right below the window—seems worth tens of thousands of yen. The staff were warm and welcoming as well, making it an unforgettable stay.

This was my first stay at Dormy Inn, and I finally understood why my daughters always say, “This Hotel is great” whenever they use it on their trips. It goes without saying that it was quiet and the breakfast was delicious. What I personally loved most was the bottled water in the fridge—it was incredibly cold and felt amazing on my sweaty throat. Since it’s often left outside the fridge at other places, I was genuinely happy about that. There were also snacks provided, which helped satisfy a small hunger. Having a TV in the bathroom was a first for me, and watching a program while soaking in the bath was such a unique experience. The staff were all cheerful and efficient, which left a great impression. Thanks to this stay, I had a wonderful time in Matsue. As an aside, Dormy Inn’s character “Dormy Inko-chan” is adorable—it's rare to see a mascot with that kind of look (lol). Thank you for the sticker as well. I’ll be back again. Thank you very much.

Thank you again for taking such good care of us. With its excellent location beside the approach to the shrine and within walking distance of Izumo Taisha, along with the Facility lovingly restored from a charming building from days gone by and the wonderful hospitality of all the staff, we were able to spend a truly pleasant time. Even though we visit again at almost the same time each year, the meals are different every time—delicious dishes that highlight local production for local consumption and are also a delight to look at—and once again we finished everything. If I may make one small request: as I get older, it can be difficult to read in the dim, atmospheric lighting. It would be very helpful if you could provide a light stand (even as a loan item) so guests can read books more easily. We look forward to visiting again next year. Thank you very much.

It was very convenient being close to the station since I had an early morning train. The air conditioning works well. There are several convenience stores nearby. I really appreciated the complimentary meal. Thank you for the wonderful food. The front desk staff were also very helpful (especially the female staff). It was a very dog-friendly Hotel. They had almost everything we needed except food, so we could stay with peace of mind. The open-air bath had a standing bath with a panoramic view of Lake Shinji, and since it was my first time, I was truly impressed. The Onsen while watching the sunrise was the best! The Hotel itself isn’t new, but it was well maintained and perfectly clean, so there was no discomfort at all. If I get the chance again, I’d love to stay here with my dog! Thank you very much.

My children really enjoyed it. We wanted to choose the outdoor BBQ Plan, but it was too cold so we decided not to. We’d like to stay again during summer vacation. Also, we forgot our child’s backpack and asked you to send it cash on delivery, but you sent it prepaid. It’s rare to find service like this, so we were very satisfied.
