As one of the traditional buildings within the Kurashiki Riverbank Traditional Building Preservation District, protected under the Cultural Properties Protection Act, we have preserved its exterior while operating as a Ryokan for over a century, upholding Kurashiki's spirit of hospitality. "Yoruya" is a culinary accommodation with 13 rooms, located in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter, aiming to provide guests with an experience that reflects the essence of Kurashiki through dining and accommodation. The 110-year-old traditional building, originally constructed during the Meiji era as an annex for a kimono shop, has been renovated and expanded to include 13 guest rooms, a U-shaped dining area with 16 seats, and a wine bar open to non-staying guests. At "Yoruya," we embrace the changing seasons not just by the calendar's four divisions but by incorporating ingredients and cooking methods inspired by Japan's twenty-four solar terms and seventy-two micro-seasons, offering a culinary experience that expresses Kurashiki's local culture.

Toto Kurashiki Mingeikan Minami Accommodation consists of three Accommodations—“Riverside Accommodation,” “Inner Accommodation,” and “Rear Accommodation”—created by restoring a building long used as a medical clinic into an Accommodation.“Riverside Accommodation” is a renovated attic space in a Meiji-era building that served as a clinic for many years. Enjoy views of the Kurashiki River from the window.“Inner Accommodation” offers a calm atmosphere with tatami mats and shoji screens, with views of the Kurashiki Mingeikan to the north and Mingei Plaza to the south.“Rear Accommodation” sits slightly set back from the main street, offering pleasant borrowed scenery through its windows.Located between the Kurashiki Mingeikan and the Japan Folk Toy Museum, this is a place where you can feel history and culture through its connections with neighboring Facilities—please enjoy a relaxing stay.

A private, whole-house Accommodation created by fully renovating a Showa-era home at Uno Port—the gateway to Okayama Prefecture—where ferries come and go to the Setouchi islands where everyday life and art intertwine, such as Naoshima and Teshima. Interpreting Setouchi and Uno in our own way, we have composed an introspective space through custom-built furniture, antiques, music, and books. There is no TV in the Room. And because we have preserved the structure of a Showa-era house, it may be somewhat less comfortable or insulated than modern homes. Tsuchiya-tei: A nostalgic yet modern machiya accommodation where you can experience “everyday Kurashiki,” the way local townspeople lived and carried on life in the Kurashiki Bikan Historical Quarter. Tsuchiya-tei once supported local healthcare as the Tsuchiya Internal Medicine Clinic during the Meiji period. The former clinic space now serves as reception for Tsuchiya-tei and as the shop for Miyake Shoten Café & Workshop. The property stretches 45 meters from south to north, from the main house to the storehouse, and accommodates up to three groups per day—each with its own private entrance. There are three Rooms, each connected to Kurashiki’s townscape: “Honmachi Street Accommodation” (2–4 guests) facing Honmachi-dori, a former old highway; “Alley Accommodation” (2–4 guests) located at the end of one of Kurashiki’s most iconic alleys; and “Storehouse Accommodation” (2 guests) overlooking the riverside of the Kurashiki River that runs through the Bikan Historical Quarter. For special occasions such as three-generation anniversaries or reunions with old friends, you can reserve either an entire main house or all buildings exclusively for up to 10 guests.
