It was my first stay in a while, and it remains a wonderful Hotel. The approach leading straight from the public road to the main entrance is elegant and picturesque. Since it opened in 1935, the Facilities are not the latest, but that is exactly what gives it a unique charm. The staff’s service was also impeccable. For dinner, we enjoyed classic French cuisine rather than today’s modern fusion style—it was delicious. As is true of Unzen’s tourist areas in general, this historic destination is rich in nature, and I imagine maintaining both the Facilities and the gardens must be challenging for those in tourism. I’m sure there are many difficulties, but I truly hope you will continue to preserve this beautiful Hotel.

We also appreciated the all-inclusive plan—especially the homemade-style snacks. The Room was very quiet: we couldn’t hear noise from next door or footsteps in the hallway. The bath could be reserved for private use in time slots, and the meals reflected genuine kindness and consideration for guests. The only thing was that my wife has limited mobility, so we would have appreciated grab bars. We really loved this Accommodation, and it’s easy to see why so many guests return.

Especially the staff in the dining area—breakfast was crowded and we couldn’t find a seat, so we decided to come at a different time, and they handled everything very politely. Thank you for working so hard even while drenched in sweat. The front desk staff were also very kind. The Room was very clean, and we chose connecting rooms as a measure against my husband’s snoring, which was absolutely perfect. I’m satisfied with the great location and the new, clean Room. The parking lot is also conveniently accessible from Hirose-dori. It’s a bit disappointing that there is no large public bath, but the in-room bathroom is separate from the toilet and has a rain shower, making it very comfortable.

We arrived by car, parked at the Hotel, and walked five minutes to AEON to watch an evening movie and have dinner. The breakfast area was spacious and clean, with counter seats by the window (the view is only of the parking lot). The scrambled eggs were delicious. It was also great that we could watch YouTube as a guest. We will stay again.
