I recently stayed at “Garden Above the Sky” for 2 nights and 3 days. The moment I stepped into the living and dining area, I was blown away by the dramatic Yatsugatake views filling the entire wall of large windows. The spacious living room was incredibly comfortable, and the view from the bathroom was wonderfully open—simply outstanding. The kitchen is truly professional-grade, with excellent Facilities, and I really enjoyed spending time cooking. In the beautifully maintained English garden, my dog (a French Bulldog) was thrilled and ran around happily. Mountain weather changes its mood every 15 minutes or so, but simply watching it shift from the terrace or indoors was a luxurious experience that never got old. This is a special Accommodation where you can forget everyday life and feel completely refreshed in both body and mind. I would love to visit again.

The soothing sights of the surrounding hills and the sounds of the river and insects were truly relaxing. The room was clean, and dinner was a delightful BBQ on the terrace while enjoying the sunset view. The meal included vegetables, rice balls, pickles, and an abundance of delicious meat. The private bath in a separate building was spacious and refreshing! Morning and evening walks were incredibly pleasant! Breakfast was absolutely amazing—homemade bread, homemade bacon, freshly picked vegetable salad—it made for a luxurious and blissful morning. There were two adorable dogs guarding the fields; they were so friendly and cute! This wonderful accommodation is filled with the kindness of its warm-hearted owner family. We also received plenty of fresh vegetables as souvenirs—they were incredibly delicious. Thank you for such a fantastic time!

Everyone was incredibly kind and took great care of us. My grandchild ate too much pineapple we had brought with us, and their tongue started hurting, which caused quite a commotion. I thought drinking milk might help, so I asked if there was any, but there wasn’t. Since we had been drinking, we couldn’t go out to buy anything and were about to give up, but they kindly went out of their way to buy pudding and yogurt for us. We were truly grateful. Thanks to that, my grandchild’s pain seemed to ease and they calmed down. It’s rare to find a place that would do this much for guests. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to come back.

I have stayed at NIPPONIA in other locations before, but we chose this Accommodation because it is close to Chichibugahama Beach. It seems well suited for longer stays, with a spacious kitchen that was very easy to use. The two-story maisonette layout also provided plenty of privacy; the three of us stayed as a family and each of us could relax at our own pace. We could walk to Chichibugahama Beach, and although it was extremely hot, we enjoyed morning and evening walks. Since dining options are a bit far away, it was slightly inconvenient without a car. It might be nice if in-Room dining were available as an option as well. This time we also ordered an optional cake, and they kindly consulted with us from the planning stage, making it a wonderful birthday and trip with great memories. I would love to come back and take it easy again in another season.

I stayed here while looking for an Accommodation that offers a fishing experience, and it turned out to be even better than I imagined. The fishing experience was especially fun and became a wonderful travel memory. All the staff were cheerful, and their hospitality was excellent throughout. They even celebrated our wedding, which truly moved us. We really appreciated their thoughtful attention to detail. The meals were also very satisfying—one luxurious dish after another, including kuruma prawns, spiny lobster, tempura, and more. Everything was delicious; it’s a dream for seafood lovers. The Onsen was relaxing, and the amenities were well stocked, so we could stay comfortably. The views, food, and service were all outstanding—an Accommodation I’d love to visit again. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to Amakusa.

I stayed as a solo guest. The room was truly right in front of the ocean, and whether I was in the living room, bedroom, or bath, the view of the blue sea was incredibly refreshing. Since cooking utensils were provided, I made a reservation with No Meals Included but enjoyed dinner at Amanoyu, a restaurant within the group facility. I also found it very appealing that I could access both the sake bar and onsen at Yokaikan, another group facility! I initially planned to relax and work in the villa but was pleasantly surprised to have access to such a spacious public bath! Working surrounded by the sea in such a spacious room was very fulfilling; next time, I'd love to try having a BBQ with friends. Thank you so much!

As a design Hotel, the interior is very stylish. The amenities and Room temperature are just right, and I think it's a good location for sightseeing in the city.

The in-Room dining tasted great, and the portions were very satisfying! If I had to say one thing, it would be perfect if the time between courses could be a bit shorter. I ended up feeling full while waiting (lol). The open-air bath in the Room was also amazing—I think I used it about 10 times (lol).

This was our first time visiting Oga, and we stayed at Kiraraka. The spacious Room with a private bath was very clean, and our family of five (with three children) could stay comfortably and with peace of mind. We enjoyed a relaxing bath together in the in-room bath, and every meal we had at the dining venue with its wonderful views was delicious—both body and mind were refreshed, and we had a truly lovely time! We hope to come again around summer for our second son’s birthday. Thank you very much.

This Hotel is located at the top of a narrow mountain road. It was very quiet, and the soothing music playing throughout the Hotel made it even more relaxing. Unfortunately, it was cloudy, but if there hadn’t been any fog, we would have been able to see the horizon from our Room and enjoy an even more wonderful view. 　The meals were carefully prepared, and both the fish and roast beef were served with vegetables that paired perfectly with each dish—everything was delicious. The dessert was a yogurt mousse (I’m not sure if that’s correct), but it was excellent. We stayed as a family of four, including our son in his 20s, and everyone left feeling full—though we did ask for extra bread. 　We were told they host only three groups per day, and we were able to use the spacious private family bath as well. It was a stay that freed us from everyday busyness and truly felt like an escape. 　The interior furnishings throughout the Hotel were also thoughtfully arranged and had an elegant feel. 　If we have the chance, we would love to visit again. The exterior and interior were very clean, allowing us to enjoy the extraordinary experience of staying in a villa! We loved the living room with floor-to-ceiling windows offering a full view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. The amenities were abundant, and it was clear that great care was taken with the selection of tableware and appliances—truly a wonderful accommodation! However, it was disappointing to find cutlery stored away with food residue from previous guests, which seemed insufficiently cleaned. This was especially shocking given how clean everything else was in terms of hygiene. Additionally, there were many items not listed among the amenities provided by the facility, such as two hair dryers. If all these could be included in your listing details, it would help reduce what guests need to bring along for their stay. We hope this can be updated for future stays!

I stayed on a breakfast-only Plan. Since it was a solo trip I decided on suddenly two days before, I was disappointed that I couldn’t choose a Plan with dinner. Although I couldn’t have dinner, the breakfast was very delicious and I was completely satisfied. Above all, the owner of the Accommodation was very considerate in many ways, and I had a truly pleasant stay. Next time, I would definitely like to stay for the dinner as well. It was truly a wonderful Accommodation. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

Many guests were also staying here to go golfing. The Hotel staff were very kind. The Room was thoroughly cleaned, and I had a comfortable stay. The food was delicious as well. I was very satisfied. Thank you!

The moment we stepped inside, the ocean view beyond the lawn garden burst into sight through the large living room windows. We had the breathtaking sea view from the hilltop all to ourselves. We enjoyed a BBQ while watching the sunset, and after dark we had drinks on the spacious terrace under a sky full of stars. We could hear the sound of the waves all night long. The next morning, as soon as we entered the living room again, we were moved by that ocean view once more—truly one of a kind. Our dog was in great spirits too, running around happily both in the garden and in our Room. The location was also very convenient—we couldn’t believe such an amazing place existed. It was an unforgettable stay. We did have some rainy weather, but it was great that we could still enjoy a BBQ even in the rain. The Accommodation’s Facilities and amenities were perfect; even arriving empty-handed, we lacked nothing at all. Everything was spotless, and we were able to relax comfortably. At checkout, the staff kindly saw us off with warm hospitality. If we have time, we’d love to return again soon.

We were worried about the outdoor pool in the extreme heat, but the sea breeze kept it cool and our grandchildren enjoyed it. Snow crab was served at dinner, which surprised everyone since it was summer. They also grilled steak for us, and it was delicious. The watermelon was sweet, and there were also chocolate fondue and ice cream. The breakfast buffet was wonderful too, especially while enjoying the ocean view. We would love to stay again.

It was my first time visiting the Oki Islands, and their advice on sightseeing routes was very helpful. The Hotel was within walking distance from where we parked the rental car. There was also complimentary coffee and tea service on the first floor, so we could relax and take our time.

The meals were delicious, just as the reviews said. The hospitable service was also excellent. Being able to rent a car made the trip very comfortable. Thank you very much!

We planned this trip to celebrate my father’s 77th birthday. I’ve visited Miyako about 10 times, but we decided to splurge on The Shigira, which I’d been curious about for years. It was only one night, but we were able to relax and enjoy some quality time together as parent and child. My father had a great time swimming in the Room’s private pool, taking the cart to the Onsen, and going shopping. For dinner, you can choose from a dedicated menu with various options; this time we chose shabu-shabu at the restaurant on the first floor of Mirage. It was delicious as well. On our way back, they also took us to a roadside station in town, and we were able to send mangoes as souvenirs to relatives. It’s not cheap, but the Room and service were well worth it. My father was truly delighted.\nThank you very much for everything during our stay.

We enjoyed everything in line with the concept: nature, architecture, interior design, and the slow passage of time.

We stayed here as a couple on our first trip to Amami Oshima. The high ceilings, large kitchen, lovely interior, sound system, shower, and above all, the uncrowded beach you can access directly from the Room were amazing. Taking the chairs outside down to the shore for sunset drinks, and enjoying coffee while watching a morning rainbow, was the best. At night, we could see countless stars from the rooftop. Since it’s in the countryside, it can’t be helped that there are insects. Next time we’d like to bring snorkeling gear and enjoy a Multiple Night Stay.
