Now in my 40s and with my parents in their 70s, I stayed here for a special parent-and-child trip. Unfortunately, it rained, but in the end we had an extremely satisfying stay. The sense of history, the tasteful architecture and furnishings, the staff’s hospitality, the wonderful meals (we dined at Le Trianon for both dinner and breakfast), and the cleanliness of the large public bath—plus the stunning view from the open-air bath—were all outstanding. My parents were truly delighted as well. In particular, Le Trianon’s breakfast course was the best we have ever had on any trip! Each dish—from the egg dishes to the smoothies—was carefully explained to us, making it a memorable experience (I was especially impressed that they used eggs from my hometown). Recently I stayed at newer luxury hotels in Karuizawa and Atami in a similar price range to this Hotel, but this historic Hotel clearly stands apart in terms of service and atmosphere. Above all, the hostess is truly soothing. Just seeing her face makes us feel at ease. The Room—especially the bath—is great, and the water temperature is perfect. The hospitality is pleasantly attentive as well. The food is delicious, but it was a bit too much for us. However, they kindly made rice balls for us, and we ended up eating them later that night. This is the best Ryokan for us, and we will come again in winter to enjoy crab.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

We stayed with our dog. It was our first time here, and we were so satisfied that we made a Reservation for next year during our stay. There is no Onsen, but the Room was spacious and very clean. The sukiyaki dinner on the first night was outstanding, and it was a new way of eating it for us. We stayed two nights, and we were truly impressed that on the second night not only the main dish but everything from the appetizers onward was a completely different menu. All of the staff were friendly, and we had a very comfortable stay. We look forward to coming back next year.

We stayed for one night during extreme heat. The Hotel was very clean, and we were completely satisfied with the Room facilities. The staff’s service was flawless, making our stay extremely satisfying. There doesn’t seem to be much nearby for walking and exploring, but the Hotel itself has a pool for dogs and a slightly small dog run, so it seems like there’s plenty to enjoy in summer. The food was delicious, and service was quick—we never had to wait after ordering drinks. I even had seconds of rice! If I had to mention one thing, travel might be faster if there were more expressways or toll roads—though that’s separate from evaluating the Hotel. We’d like to stay again.

We had an extremely satisfying stay in every way. This time, we stayed in both the villa and the Deluxe Twin, and both Rooms were very clean. However, on the first night we chose to have a BBQ at the villa, but it was too hot to handle. We thought it would be nice if there were a mist system on the terrace.

From the moment we boarded the elevator to the Ryokan from in front of Sounzan Station, it was an exciting experience. The Accommodation and all the staff welcomed us with a warm atmosphere, and everything—the Room, the carefully prepared meals, the Onsen, and the views—was wonderfully soothing. We were able to spend a slow, quiet, luxurious time. Thank you very much.

We stayed at the Nagasaki Marriott for two nights, in a Harbor View Suite on the top (13th) floor. With the summer Plan, Child Sharing Existing Bedding and breakfast were free for our child, so it was an excellent value. We also arranged a sofa bed for an additional fee (8,960 yen), and it was very comfortable. The Hotel is directly connected to Nagasaki Station, so access is outstanding. It’s easy to dine and shop at the station building, which was extremely convenient. Because we checked in late, we used room service, and every dish was high quality—we were very satisfied. In addition to Goto udon and burgers, there were plenty of kids’ menu options as well. From the room we could see large cruise ships, and the Harbor View scenery was truly spectacular. As it has only recently opened, the property is very clean throughout, and the modern, sophisticated interior design left a strong impression. The bathroom had a spacious round bathtub; the vanity had an easy-to-use double sink; and with two toilets available as well, our family stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast on both days; some items changed between days so we never got bored. Local Nagasaki specialties such as kakuni buns and sara udon were all delicious, as were the shumai. There was also a wide selection of cheeses, dried fruits, and breads. Both Japanese- and Western-style options were plentiful—something international guests would enjoy too. We couldn’t use the lounge during food service hours, but since it’s open 24 hours a day, it was nice to relax there with coffee. In terms of location, rooms, dining options, and service overall satisfaction was high—it was a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Nagasaki.

Ayanna Miyako was the Hotel I had absolutely wanted to stay at when traveling to Miyakojima. Because it’s such a wonderful Hotel, it was fully booked during Golden Week, but I joined the waitlist and managed to stay!! A few days before my stay, they called to confirm my arrival time and kindly asked if we were celebrating anything—if so, they could prepare a cake (additional fee). My stay was just before the rainy season began, and the weather was great. When I opened the Room door, there was a stylish interior leading out to the pool—and beyond that, a beautiful ocean view. Relaxing on a poolside chair with an Orion beer they had stocked in the fridge was truly the best!! I’ve stayed in Rooms with private pools before—on Okinawa’s main island, on another date in Miyakojima this trip, and even in Hakone—but personally, Ayanna Miyako is my favorite. Breakfast was beautifully set up as well, and the Eggs Benedict was outstanding! One thing to note: check-in and everything else (including breakfast reservations) were all handled via smartphone. However, they support you if you have any questions, so I think even those who aren’t comfortable with smartphones can feel at ease. Thank you for such a wonderful time.

From the moment I was picked up, the staff made a great impression, and as soon as I stepped into the Hotel, I was soothed by a wonderful aroma scent. I was shown to a private Room to check in. The Room had a simple design and was very comfortable to stay in. I also enjoyed choosing my favorite scent with the aroma diffuser in the Room. This time I joined the 1-night, 2-day fasting course. Since it wasn’t a water-only fast, I had carrot juice, homemade umeboshi (pickled plum), bancha tea, and more for dinner and again the next morning. After checkout, they treated me to rice porridge, miso soup, handmade umeboshi, hana ingen beans (runner beans), and bancha tea—everything was very satisfying. Personally, the hana ingen beans slowly simmered over two days with beet sugar were so delicious that I couldn’t help asking if they were available for purchase. After check-in, I also received a brown-rice onigiri with umeboshi, which I enjoyed on my long-distance bus ride home. There is no TV in the Room, but Wi‑Fi is available so you can use your smartphone. However, since it was such a good opportunity, I tried not to use my phone during my stay as much as possible. Time flew by as I read health magazines in the lounge with herbal tea in hand; opened the window in my guest room to read my own book while listening to birdsong; and reviewed personal finances that had been put off due to everyday busyness. From the Onsen bath area in the morning, you can see Mt. Asama—the view was truly wonderful. If there’s one thing to mention: since exercise is part of my routine personally, having showers in every Room would have made it even more comfortable by allowing me to rinse off quickly after working out. Other than that minor point, everything exceeded expectations—the staff were lovely throughout—and it was a stay I would definitely like to repeat.

We chose this Accommodation because it offers views of Lake Biwa. The scenery throughout the property was exactly as shown in the photos on the website, and we were captivated by the refined design and attention to detail. We booked a Plan that included breakfast and dinner, and every dish made generous use of local ingredients and was truly delicious. We stayed for three nights! The Room was spotless, with no noticeable odor from other dogs. The tableware, cookware, and appliances were well stocked, and there were plenty of pet amenities too—it honestly made us think, “We want to live in a place like this!” (lol) You can see the beach and ocean from the living room window—an absolutely amazing location. There are several Accommodations next door in a row, and the beach right in front seems to be a popular hidden spot, so it was often used by people other than guests.
