There were several flies in the Room, and the shower drainage was slow, which was a bit concerning. It would have been better if insect repellent was placed in an easily noticeable spot! The atmosphere and location were excellent. Sunset Beach was breathtaking. The terrace bathtub kept the kids entertained, while adults could enjoy a relaxing BBQ. The large BBQ grill was very convenient. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

The staff at the accommodation were incredibly helpful. We stayed during the year-end, and the interior of the yurt was so warm and comfortable that we couldn't feel the cold outside. The dinner options, including the hot pot course and barbecue course, were abundant with plenty of meat, vegetables, mushrooms, appetizers, and even ice cream for dessert. We were completely satisfied. One member of our group couldn't eat meat, so we requested in advance to substitute seafood for the hot pot meat. The staff handled this request kindly and attentively. Breakfast was served buffet-style with bread, soup, coffee/juice, fried rice (which was especially delicious), fresh vegetable salad—all of which were delightful and satisfying. We also received free tickets to a nearby onsen facility. Bringing along a towel set from our bungalow that could be returned at the onsen made it convenient to enjoy outdoor baths, löyly sessions, and saunas before heading back home. Every aspect of our stay was thoughtfully arranged for an exceptional experience. Highly recommended!

I was able to spend a relaxing time while enjoying the beautiful scenery at the quiet seaside. The shared space had stylish interiors, and at night, the indirect lighting created a wonderful and calm atmosphere. There was a display of various spices, which was intriguing. The owner was kind, and the seafood bowl restaurant in Shimonoseki that was recommended was cheap and delicious, leaving me very satisfied! Breakfast consisted of healthy and delicious steamed vegetables and shumai. I enjoyed it while watching the sunrise on the terrace. It was also interesting to try various spices. Since the curry seems to be delicious, I would love to come back here to eat when I visit Shimonoseki again.

So many fresh fish dishes were served—everything was delicious! The staff’s attentiveness was excellent. Although the building is old, the Room had been renovated and was very clean. Even the small details, like the tableware and towels, were wonderful. With the sea right in front and many boats docked there, we enjoyed plenty of delicious fish and really felt like we had come to an island. It was a truly great Accommodation.

Although the building is old, it has been thoughtfully renovated while preserving its charm. The clean, air-conditioned Japanese-style room is available at a reasonable price, making it an excellent and highly satisfying base for your trip.

You’ll head in through a surprisingly narrow passageway that makes you wonder, “Are we really going in here!?”—but the location is very convenient, just a short walk from Kanzanji, with an eel restaurant nearby, making the stay very comfortable. The Room was also very clean. However, compared to the Facility’s stated capacity, there were far too few dining chairs—only six. Since we stayed with seven people, it was quite inconvenient. The Goemon-style bath was interesting, but there wasn’t much firewood, and it still felt insufficient for seven people. That said, the Goemon-style bath, the movable hanging tent, and the view were all incredibly fun. We also enjoyed watching the tides come in and out. There is a bedroom on the second floor, but since there’s no sink or similar amenities up there, it wasn’t very convenient to use.

My children stayed at the Accommodation with their father for the first time. They said the food was delicious and their stay was comfortable. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate and they couldn’t set off the fireworks they had been looking forward to, but it still seems to have become a wonderful memory. If we have the opportunity, we would love to visit again.

We were captivated by the Sunset Sun Road, which we could enjoy from our Room, the large Onsen bath, the dining area, and the terrace. Both dinner and breakfast were thoughtfully prepared and delicious.

We stayed with three family members and our dog. The ocean was right in front of us, and the view was amazing. The Facility and cooking utensils were well stocked. When we emailed to ask where to buy ingredients for a barbecue, we received a very kind and detailed reply. We wished we could have stayed two nights to enjoy it even more. We’d love to come back someday.

More and more Accommodations that welcome dogs have been appearing in recent years, and I stay at various private rental homes around Japan a few times a year. Among them, JADE GROUP’s Accommodation is outstanding in every way (this was my third stay including other JADE properties). The stylish exterior, interior design, and furnishings; the more-than-generous space and openness; and the spacious bathroom were all clean and made for a very comfortable bath time. I loved the overall simple yet luxurious atmosphere. The kitchen appliances were fully equipped, and having a Dyson vacuum cleaner plus a washer-dryer permanently installed was extremely helpful for someone like me who is a bit particular about cleanliness. With such excellent Facilities, I did wish there were at least basic amenities provided as well. From the large living-room windows, you can enjoy views of mountains and rural scenery. In this quiet setting with complete privacy from others, we were able to relax at our own pace—and it still didn’t feel like enough time—so if possible, I recommend a Multiple Night Stay.

I stayed for 3 nights in Room 102 of this accommodation during my first visit to Miyako Island. The view right in front of me as I entered the room was breathtaking. The room was very clean and fully equipped, allowing me to stay comfortably without any inconvenience. The staff promptly replenished drinks in the refrigerator and provided plenty of towels, all with kindness and warm smiles. I didn’t realize there was ice available and ended up buying some—wish I had asked! (laughs) The private beach right in front is also a great attraction; I went there every day. Oh, a stray cat came by to visit! It was adorable, but I refrained from feeding or touching it and just watched over it since it could become an issue if it decided to stay around. There weren’t many downsides, but the smell in the bathroom and bedroom bothered me slightly—it was somewhat fishy or moldy. Perhaps adding some aromatherapy would help improve this aspect. We were a little anxious because there were no Reviews, but we received a very courteous email from the owner. They continued to respond sincerely, doing their best to accommodate our requests, which made us feel very reassured. We stayed as three generations of a family. Since we had small children, they prepared a baby crib and baby bath for us, and also provided a guard to block off an open section of the stair handrail—something we truly appreciated. There are seven bedrooms, so everyone was able to maintain their own private space. The bedding and Facilities were new and kept very clean. The only disappointing point was that the showers in each Room had a slight sewer smell. The view from the terrace was beautiful! We would love to stay here again when visiting Futtsu.

It was very luxurious to have the entire second floor to ourselves, but I felt the use of space was a bit wasteful. The room had the convenience of a business hotel, but with unlimited access to onsen with natural hot spring water, it could have been a luxury property with better use of space. There was supposed to be a drink service, so we didn't bring anything, but the fridge only had water as a non-alcoholic option. If I had known, I would have brought something. At least a vending machine would have been nice. They prepared plenty of bath towels for us, but since we wanted to soak in the onsen multiple times, it would have been nice to have a place in the room to hang the towels so we wouldn't have to use so many. The hot water and food were very good, so I found myself nitpicking on the finer details. That said, we were able to enjoy a luxurious time while maintaining the atmosphere of a pension or a guesthouse.

In the reservation, the plan was for the dog to stay behind during dinner, but I was concerned about leaving the dog alone, so I inquired. Although there was an additional charge, they kindly changed it to a delicious restaurant. The breakfast was also delicious, and we had a satisfying time.
