The Accommodation buildings are scattered across a spacious property, offering a relaxing escape from the bustle of the city. But the greatest highlight here is the wonderful dinner. The menu is thoughtfully crafted, with many unique and unusual dishes. The chef’s dedication really shows in the food, and I was very satisfied. The Onsen is also excellent, with free-flowing natural hot spring water. I didn’t know there was such a great place in Kokonoe.

It was very convenient being close to the station since I had an early morning train. The air conditioning works well. There are several convenience stores nearby. I really appreciated the complimentary meal. Thank you for the wonderful food. The front desk staff were also very helpful (especially the female staff). If I have another opportunity, I would be happy to stay again.

After visiting Ise Jingu from Tokyo, we stayed here. The Hotel is close to Kumano Sanzan and located by the Pacific Ocean. The staff were all wonderful, and the dinner featuring fresh tuna bowl, whale sashimi, and Tatsuta-age was exquisite. At the nearby Whale Museum, we had a rare experience feeding and touching whales. This clean and lovely Hotel offers a luxurious breakfast accompanied by live piano music. We stayed for two nights, enjoying the slow pace of time in Taiji Town—a place filled with whale and dolphin monuments—and hoped that this traditional fishing culture continues for generations to come. We stayed on the one-night, two-meal plan with a Room assigned by the property, including grilled eel (kabayaki). The price was reasonable and the meals were delicious. However, it was disappointing that the website says parking is 800 yen, but when we asked at the front desk we were told we could use the municipal parking lot behind the property for 420 yen. It would be appreciated if this could be noted on the website. It was great to have a clear view of Bentenjima’s red torii gate right in front of us from our Room. We would like to stay again if we have another opportunity.

We stayed as a family of five, and the hospitality was outstanding. Although they call it a welcome drink, the drink corner was available almost all day throughout our Hotel stay, and until dinner there was even unlimited sparkling wine. In addition to the dagashi (Japanese snack) buffet service and amenities such as lotion, they also offered rentals like a baby formula maker and board games—everything you could ask for. The manga corner wasn’t just about the number of volumes; it also had sofas and cozy hideaway-like spaces, so we spent blissful time there. There are sofa reading areas and kids’ spaces throughout the building, making it truly relaxing.\nThe breakfast and dinner buffets didn’t use luxury ingredients, but there were many delicious, well-thought-out dishes. Alcohol was also all-you-can-drink, and we could compare local sake varieties. The kids-only buffet area and automatic pancake oven were fun, and we also enjoyed local specialties such as hoto hot pot and Fujinomiya yakisoba.\nThere were many international guests as well, but plenty of multilingual signs were posted around the Hotel, and everyone followed Japanese manners, so there was no stress at all.\nBecause the building has some age to it, it had a Showa-retro feel; however, Facility such as the toilets were updated to modern models, so it didn’t bother us at all for a family trip.\nWe would love to come again with our whole family.

It was a very dog-friendly Hotel. They had almost everything we needed except food, so we could stay with peace of mind. The open-air bath had a standing bath with a panoramic view of Lake Shinji, and since it was my first time, I was truly impressed. The Onsen while watching the sunrise was the best! The Hotel itself isn’t new, but it was well maintained and perfectly clean, so there was no discomfort at all. If I get the chance again, I’d love to stay here with my dog! Thank you very much.

We stayed on the day of the summer fireworks festival. What we liked All of the staff were kind. They greeted us with warm smiles and calm, friendly service. Above all, the food was delicious! The “Koyoi Zen” dinner featured ingredients that make the most of this coastal area, along with local fruit—everything was very satisfying. You can order not only drinks but also additional dishes. The kids’ dinner was generous in portion size and packed with child-friendly favorites. Some Reviews mentioned that sweet shrimp wasn’t always available at the breakfast buffet, but it was there this time—unlimited fresh sweet shrimp was truly appreciated. Also, during the fireworks festival, they opened up the 7th floor for 500 yen including a drink, plus potato chips as a snack. We could watch the fireworks from great seats at a relaxed pace—it was fantastic! What could be improved The faucet in our Room had a crack, and water sprayed out from an unexpected place every time we turned it on, leaving everything around it soaked. In the large public bath, the partitions between washing stations were low, so you end up making eye contact with people next to you and water splashes over. Overall, there were so many positives that we could overlook these issues. Still, we would have been even more satisfied if the Facility had been a bit cleaner and better maintained. Highly recommended for visiting roadside stations in northern Hokkaido and for attending the Haboro fireworks festival!

We booked at the last minute due to a sudden change of plans, but we enjoyed our stay far more than expected! Right by the entrance, the lobby had a kids’ play area, board games, and a small complimentary ice cream service—our child was thrilled. Meals were buffet-style, with a wide variety of dishes stylishly presented. We were especially impressed by how many menu items featured ingredients from Ibaraki. Even though we booked on short notice, they handled food allergies very carefully and provided us with a detailed list. Our room was in an unrenovated section, so we noticed a slight musty smell and some humidity. Next time, we would like to book a renovated room. Overall, the staff were very kind, and we had a comfortable stay.

Although the building has a retro feel that reflects its age, the rooms are spacious, impeccably clean, and very comfortable. The beach within walking distance is quiet and uncrowded—an ideal spot for a relaxing stroll while listening to the waves. While there aren’t many restaurants nearby, the Chinese restaurant right next door is open until 21:30, and it’s a plus to enjoy generous portions at reasonable prices. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet stay with great value for money!

We stayed for 2 nights and 3 days before returning from Naha to Tokyo. It was convenient because we could spend a good amount of time together as a family inside the Hotel. The airport is also close—taking a taxi from the Hotel cost less than 1,500 yen. Getting into town toward Asahibashi took about 15 minutes on foot, which was longer than expected. There was a car-sharing vehicle in front of the Hotel, so we used that instead. There is a Suijin shrine next door, and the sunset view was beautiful.

It felt homey and very comfortable. The Hotel staff were kind, and the Onsen was very relaxing. I also appreciated being able to use the laundry freely. I would like to stay again.

We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was very clean. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were excellent. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had poor water pressure. The staff were very kind and helpful. We would like to stay again.

Compared with my previous stay, the Room was much cleaner. The toilet is still old, but it has a washlet, and the air-conditioning and lighting are brand new, which was great. As for the meals, everything was fresh, and the fish and sushi were very delicious. For breakfast, I would prefer the dried fish to be grilled for guests rather than having to grill it myself. Overall, both the Facility and dining have improved a lot and it was very good. If there were chairs in the Room, it would be perfect.

It was very clean and comfortable! The meals were delicious, and we had a pleasant stay. Please note that the toilet and washbasin are located outside the Room, and bathing is available only in the large public bath (15:00–23:00), so it may not be suitable for those who want a morning bath or shower. There is an ice machine and a microwave on the floor. Also, the refrigerator includes a freezer compartment, which was helpful for freezing ice packs.
