I would like to stay again. This is an accommodation I would recommend to my friends. It was very relaxing.

This Accommodation comes highly recommended by a renowned Hotel critic. Although it is away from central Nagasaki, I think it is a Hotel well worth going out of your way to visit. The Room was of a level you normally couldn’t stay in at this price. We arrived early for check-in, and the staff recommended a walking route around the Hotel—about 40–50 minutes on foot. Since it feels quite isolated without a car, we also had dinner here. It’s an expensive set-course dinner, so my rating was slightly strict because of the price. They also offer an à la carte menu. For breakfast, I chose the Western option. It felt a little lacking that there was only one type of bread—the same round French loaf as at dinner. The Japanese breakfast might be more recommendable. I requested Shuttle Service from the port and communicated by email; their responses were fast and excellent. That alone shows this is a first-class Hotel. Because of the ferry schedule, it looked like we might arrive just before lunch service ended, but they did their best to accommodate our request (in the end we switched to an earlier ferry so it wasn’t necessary). Also, the ferry from Sasebo was not as rough as I had feared—an easy and comfortable 30 minutes. There’s too much to say here, but I’m truly grateful for all the thoughtful care shown by every member of staff. “A Hotel worth making your travel destination.” That’s what this place is.

From the moment we arrived until check-out, we felt truly satisfied throughout our stay. We have often stayed at The Kahala Hotel in Hawaii as well, and our children were excited, saying it smelled just like Hawaii, and they had a wonderful time. The staff’s thoughtfulness was outstanding; even though we were staying with a baby, they responded to every request with a smile and “Of course,” for which we were truly grateful. We had dinner at OZIO, and every dish was so wonderful it made us think it was French cuisine; we were genuinely impressed that there is no Italian dining of this level in Osaka—even at a Hotel. The breakfast buffet was also very clean, delicious, and high in quality item by item—we were completely satisfied. Whenever we visit Yokohama, this is the Hotel we will definitely choose again. After seeing it in a magazine, I’d been wanting to visit for two years, and I finally got to stay here. It was an even more wonderful stay than I had imagined. The meals were delicious, with plenty of local ingredients. I’ll definitely be back!

We visited for a family trip to celebrate our daughter’s marriage. As it was formerly an art museum, we were overwhelmed by the meticulously designed building by Tadao Ando and the many artworks displayed throughout the property. The Room was extremely comfortable, and the pool we had been looking forward to was wonderful—we were able to fully enjoy this extraordinary space. We expected Western cuisine, but instead were delighted by beautifully refined Japanese dishes. The drink pairings matched to each course were perfect, and every dish moved us. The congratulatory wedding cake we had ordered was also truly delicious and became a wonderful keepsake. We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality of all the staff. This is a superb Hotel where architecture, art, and food are all in harmony, and we would love to stay again.

I stayed at Amanemu, which I’d been curious about for some time, as my Accommodation for an Ise pilgrimage. The hospitality began right from the Shuttle Service at Kashikojima Station, and it immediately made me excited. The Facility was just as wonderful as I had imagined. For dinner, we enjoyed a set course in the dining room—delicious dishes that made the most of local ingredients, including spiny lobster and Matsusaka beef—and we ended up lingering so long we lost track of time. On the second day, we went to the thermal springs and the pool I’d been looking forward to. Both offered different atmospheres and views—it truly felt like heaven! Maybe it was just luck, but both were almost completely private. The pool butler was also very pleasant, and after we got out of the pool, they took us by cart straight to the thermal springs. On the way back, however, one female staff member drove a bit roughly and it made me nervous—so that’s my only small deduction. Even so, it was an outstanding Hotel in terms of both facilities and hospitality. I would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

Thank you for taking care of us for two nights and three days. I have stayed in many places around Japan, but this is the first time I’ve written a Review. It was a wonderful stay, and although I didn’t have time to properly express my thanks in person, I’d like to do so here. Work has been very busy lately, and this time I came hoping to “just relax,” and this Accommodation was exactly what I was looking for. From our Room we could look out over the sea at Matsushima, and without having to leave the Accommodation much at all, we were able to spend slow, luxurious time simply gazing at the ocean. The cheerful and courteous service from the staff in charge of our Room left a strong impression on me, and thanks to them we felt comfortable throughout our stay. At the dining venue as well, they casually checked in with us—“Are you cold?”—and even someone like me who gets cold easily was able to relax comfortably. The tea sweets provided were delicious, and the bath was extremely soothing. After bathing, it’s also a fond memory that I could unwind by reading while enjoying cold tea at “Salon Kura.” Every meal was truly delicious. In particular, the anago (conger eel) takikomi rice really stayed with me. We were told that any leftovers could be made into rice balls, but it was so easy to eat that we kept reaching for more with our chopsticks and finished it all. My partner seems especially impressed by the Sendai Kuroge Wagyu steak. Being able to grill sasa-kamaboko at breakfast also made me happy—it felt uniquely Miyagi. Even when we were leaving, you prepared sightseeing maps and gourmet information for us as well, and we felt your warm thoughtfulness right until the end. It was a truly lovely Accommodation where you can take your time enjoying both Matsushima’s scenery and how comfortable everything feels on-site. It ended up being a stay that refreshed both body and mind. We would love to visit again. Thank you very much for everything during our stay.

We had a wonderful time during our 3-day, 2-night stay. It was our first time trying the barrel sauna, a Weber BBQ, and a campfire, but thanks to your thoughtful support, we were able to enjoy everything safely and comfortably even with a small child. The views from the garden and the Room were beautiful, and the interior was spacious, clean, and very relaxing. The pesticide-free vegetables were also delicious. Next time, we will visit with our whole family.

A beautiful garden that reflects the seasons—so captivating you could gaze at it forever. Elegant summer décor that lets you fully experience Kyoto’s traditional culture. Hanging scrolls, ikebana, and a beautifully arranged Room down to every detail. The head chef, attendants, the young proprietress, and the proprietress herself offer warm, attentive hospitality with genuine grace. Thinking that all of this beauty is an expression of love for each guest fills me with freshness and gratitude. At Kikkawa, you can feel the refined spirit of Kyoto—an appreciation for making everyday life beautiful and joyful. It began as an Accommodation I hoped to stay at at least once in my life; before I knew it, this was my 11th visit. A superb culinary Ryokan I wholeheartedly recommend to anyone who truly loves Kyoto.

Everything—the views, the Room, the baths, the meals, and the hospitality—was outstanding. My whole family kept saying again and again that we had never stayed at such a wonderful Ryokan. First of all, the baths! The view of Otaru spread out below from the open-air bath was breathtaking. (We also really appreciated that the amenities were from a well-known cosmetics brand and that towels were always available.) Inside the Ryokan, there were furnishings that evoked the former prosperity of the Herring Mansion, making it an irresistible place for history lovers. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, and I especially can’t forget the potato with butter sauce—a long-loved specialty of this Ryokan. It was such an incredible time that I almost didn’t want to recommend it to others. I definitely want to come back again next time.

The view from the window was breathtaking, and we were able to enjoy a truly luxurious time. The sunset in particular was stunning—better than we had imagined. We would definitely like to stay again.

Every summer vacation, we stay at this seaside Hotel. The Rooms in the East Wing and the amenities are truly wonderful, and we always look forward to them. One small disappointment was that last year there was a bottle of water by the sink in the bathroom, but this time it wasn’t provided. Also, the staff’s service was excellent. In the morning, when my child and I were swimming in the sea, I’m not sure if it was a staff member or a volunteer, but someone was carefully picking up litter on the beach. It was wonderful. Thanks to that, there wasn’t any trash at all on the beach in front of the Hotel, and we could swim comfortably. We’ll be back again next year. We hope it will be even more upgraded—haha.

Every year, we make sure to visit in summer as well. Right in front of you is a sandy beach with an amazing view—it feels like a private beach, and the sunsets are beautiful. Dinner is outstanding, with delicious Japanese and Western dishes such as appetizers, sashimi, wagyu beef, nigiri sushi, and dessert. There is also a carefully selected lineup of drinks every time, including wine and sake—everything is truly exceptional. Breakfast is also wonderful: herb salad, locally made sausages from a nearby farm, truffle omelet, bread, and more—every item is genuinely delicious. We are sincerely grateful. The owner, proprietress, chef—everyone is calm and welcoming, making it very comfortable to stay. It’s such a lovely Accommodation that we’d visit every month if we could.
