A truly wonderful Facility! The Room was very clean, and we had a comfortable stay. There was a pool right in front of the Room, and we could also see the Kouri Bridge—an absolutely stunning view! We’d love to stay again!

The Room was spacious, and I was able to relax comfortably. The meals were also delicious. I was satisfied with the Hotel amenities and in-room facilities. I would like to stay again if I have the opportunity.

Even though it was late at night, we were warmly welcomed after contacting in advance, which we truly appreciated. It might have been part of a special campaign, but the next morning when we departed, we received lacquered chopsticks from Obama as a gift. We were genuinely grateful and would love to stay again if given the chance.

This time, I stayed with my son and his wife. The small, guest-only bath is truly wonderful and incredibly relaxing. At the shop, they made me a discount card, so I could shop at a great price. The meals are delicious, and above all, I love the staff’s hospitality and smiles. I stay here whenever I return to my hometown, and every time the attentive service is consistently excellent—it feels like a miracle to be able to stay at this price. We stayed here again this year following last year. The Room was clean, equipped with necessary amenities and comfortable yukata, and there is even a small but satisfying public bath. The izakaya next door is very convenient for dinner. This time, we were especially moved when we opened the Room door after check-in and saw the stunning sunset through the window.

From check-in until our car left the Ryokan, the staff naturally came outside to welcome and see us off. I think there are very few Ryokan or Hotels that do this. The preparation of the futon bedding and in-Room dining was pleasant, and it made for a wonderful stay. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were very satisfying. If I had one request, I would be happy if there were a bit more local vegetables—especially for guests in their 50s like us. This may be a matter of preference, but I felt the miso soup would have been even better if it were served a little hotter. Similarly, I would have preferred the water in the large public bath to be slightly hotter. What impressed me most was how thoroughly everything was cleaned. Even at expensive Hotels or Ryokan, you often notice dust in hidden areas or peeling wallpaper and small flaws here and there, but everything visible was very clean. Precisely because it isn’t brand-new, it felt especially comfortable. It was my first stay here, but I feel like I got great value. My only concern is that many of the staff seemed to be around my age or a bit older, so I hope this Ryokan will continue for many years and be passed on to the next generation so guests can keep enjoying it. Although it was extremely hot, we were blessed with good weather and were able to relax. Driving from Kyoto via the national highway felt far (since we have a kei car and can get pressured on the expressway). The first time, we stayed at Nisshokan. This time, due to renovations, we stayed at Nagisakan—it was spacious and we could take our time. I had knee surgery in February and worked hard through painful rehabilitation, so being able to finally enjoy the Onsen again was truly wonderful. Everyone at the Hotel was kind, and it was very soothing. Thank you very much.

We stayed with two young children. The room with a private open-air bath was very comfortable for families with kids. The hostess in charge of the room was incredibly kind and wonderful. We enjoyed the meals—sashimi, spiny lobster, Matsusaka beef, and oysters—and the sea bream was the best we have ever had. We would love to come again.

I was able to relax in a clean, comfortable, and pleasantly spacious Room that was easy to use. Because it was a bit foggy, we couldn’t see much of the Kanto Plain, but we still enjoyed the in-room open-air Onsen bath. We usually eat dinner early, and we weren’t kept waiting—one delicious dish after another was served at just the right pace, with plenty of variety, and we were completely satisfied. It was my first time in Tsukuba, but it’s close to Tokyo, and we were able to see beautiful flowers at the perfect time—azaleas and mountain wisteria in bloom, and nemophila at full peak. I would definitely like to stop by again when I visit Tsukuba. Thank you very much for your hospitality.

I chose this ryokan in Chita because I wanted to enjoy fugu, and their fugu dishes were introduced on the site. My room was upgraded, and during this season, I could see both the sunrise and sunset from the room, making it a truly wonderful experience (I uploaded photos of the sunrise and sunset). Yesterday, there were reportedly over 100 guests staying here, but today it was just us. We had the luxury of enjoying the onsen all to ourselves. I imagine yesterday must have been extremely busy for the staff like a "battle," so we felt grateful yet slightly apologetic for being able to enjoy such a calm atmosphere today. The hostess was very friendly and chatted with us during mealtime, allowing us to relax and have an enjoyable time. The onsen features a unique "stone bath" design where water flows beneath stones, creating a serene bathing experience. The indoor bath is slightly hotter while the open-air bath has just the right temperature—perfect for those who prefer either hot or milder baths. Personally, I loved the temperature of the open-air bath; it was perfect for me! The natural fugu we came here for was absolutely delicious as well. Overall, this accommodation offers a relaxing stay with plenty of time to unwind at your own pace!

We stayed with my grandparents and uncle to celebrate my grandparents’ 90th birthday. They were delighted to receive a pair of matching chopsticks as a gift. During the meal, my grandfather accidentally bumped his hand while serving one dish and spilled everything, causing trouble; we were very grateful that it was kindly prepared again. Most of the staff were non-Japanese except for the proprietress. At times we weren’t sure if we were fully understood, but everyone was very kind and we had a comfortable stay.

Facing the Kanmon Straits, it was soothing to watch the ships passing through all the time. The meals were carefully selected and delicious. It was also great to be able to see the straits from the bath; however, the bath was quite crowded with many local residents, which surprised me a little. As a request, I think it would be relaxing if you could use some aroma fragrance or incense in the corridor where the Room is located.

Staying in this relocated traditional house made me feel pleasantly nostalgic. It was also great that the bath was available 24 hours a day—my skin felt smooth and moisturized afterward. And above all, the seafood was outstanding. Every dish felt like a main course, and then the final blow was the nodoguro rice bowl—I thought my stomach would burst, but it was so delicious I couldn’t leave any and finished it all. Even though I wasn’t fully hungry yet, breakfast was incredibly good as well. It was my first time eating squid with grated daikon—what an eye-opener; I’m going to try it at home. The rice was delicious too, and then there was even abalone-and-mozuku rice porridge with a nice kick of ginger. Once again, I ate everything. I was afraid to step on the scale after getting home. But I definitely want to come back.
