The food was delicious, and we were very satisfied. Our Room was in a separate annex, with privacy well maintained, so we could truly unwind. This was my first time staying for three nights, and everything was great—the service struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and distance. It was a bit pricey, but it’s now on my list of Accommodations I’d like to treat myself to again. If I had to mention one thing, I’d love the meals to have a bit more originality!

We had an extremely satisfying stay in every way. This time, we stayed in both the villa and the Deluxe Twin, and both Rooms were very clean. However, on the first night we chose to have a BBQ at the villa, but it was too hot to handle. We thought it would be nice if there were a mist system on the terrace.

We stayed at the Nagasaki Marriott for two nights, in a Harbor View Suite on the top (13th) floor. With the summer Plan, Child Sharing Existing Bedding and breakfast were free for our child, so it was an excellent value. We also arranged a sofa bed for an additional fee (8,960 yen), and it was very comfortable. The Hotel is directly connected to Nagasaki Station, so access is outstanding. It’s easy to dine and shop at the station building, which was extremely convenient. Because we checked in late, we used room service, and every dish was high quality—we were very satisfied. In addition to Goto udon and burgers, there were plenty of kids’ menu options as well. From the room we could see large cruise ships, and the Harbor View scenery was truly spectacular. As it has only recently opened, the property is very clean throughout, and the modern, sophisticated interior design left a strong impression. The bathroom had a spacious round bathtub; the vanity had an easy-to-use double sink; and with two toilets available as well, our family stay was very comfortable. We had breakfast on both days; some items changed between days so we never got bored. Local Nagasaki specialties such as kakuni buns and sara udon were all delicious, as were the shumai. There was also a wide selection of cheeses, dried fruits, and breads. Both Japanese- and Western-style options were plentiful—something international guests would enjoy too. We couldn’t use the lounge during food service hours, but since it’s open 24 hours a day, it was nice to relax there with coffee. In terms of location, rooms, dining options, and service overall satisfaction was high—it was a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel we would definitely like to stay at again when visiting Nagasaki.

The staff provide courteous and kind service. The bath and in-room amenities are well stocked. As it was midwinter, a warming gel pack had been placed inside the bedding, and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of a cozy, warm futon. The Room air conditioner kept us plenty warm, and a fan heater was also provided as a backup to further heat the room if needed. The meals were excellent in both taste and portion size. We were able to fully enjoy spiny lobster until we were completely satisfied. Overall, it is a wonderful Accommodation with an elegant atmosphere.

I stayed here on a solo trip. Everyone at the Accommodation was incredibly kind and helpful! The meals at the Accommodation were beautifully presented and delicious—I was very satisfied. I was surprised that the drinks in the Room were free! I enjoyed having alcohol on the terrace to cool off in the evening, and drinking oolong tea after a bath, haha. In the morning, I made drip coffee using hot water from the water dispenser and spent my time feeling refreshed. The Room was also very clean, and the in-room bath was an Onsen. There wasn’t any mold at all in the bathroom. The grout was spotless, the faucets were shiny, and even the drain was clean. The large public bath was great too—the design is lovely. This time my goal for the next day was visiting shrines, so I went to Ishigami-san, Hikodaki Daimyojin, and Isawa Shrine. They kindly explained nearby roads and how to get around, which helped a lot. What’s more, even after I had checked out, they actually ran after me just to give me a taxi company phone number. Thanks to that, I could take a taxi when traveling from Hikodaki Daimyojin to Isawa Shrine and arrived an hour earlier! They also recommended a very kind taxi company, so the driver told me what preparations I needed for visiting Isawa Shrine as well—and I made it up safely! It turned into such a wonderful trip! I’d definitely love to stay again!

The meals, the Room, the service—and of course the Onsen—everything is perfect! This is an Accommodation that makes you think, “I want to come back,” every time you visit. We were completely satisfied with everything: savoring elaborate kaiseki cuisine at a relaxed pace in a private dining room, the private gazebo, and the hospitality in the lounge. Thank you to all the staff for your thoughtful attention to detail. It rained on our arrival day, but even the rainy sea felt beautiful. We’re also looking forward to receiving the handmade pressed-flower postcard later on.

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. It’s almost right in front of Izumo Taisha—I didn’t realize it would be that close. Having an Accommodation nearby was perfect: we could rest right away after visiting in the heat, and also enjoy the atmosphere around the torii gates of Izumo Taisha early in the morning and late at night. I later learned that this is Mariya Takeuchi’s family home. I often listen to her music, so her vibe and the feel of the Accommodation really seemed to align—I was genuinely impressed. I’d love to come back again someday.

The Room was spacious, and we were able to relax comfortably. The meals were the right portion size and very delicious. Each dish was carefully prepared, with refined flavors. The eel kamameshi at dinner was especially tasty. One disappointment was that the large public bath and the open-air bath were far apart, so I couldn’t make it to the open-air bath. I appreciated being able to enjoy coffee and tea freely in the lobby. I would like to stay again.

Above all, the hostess is truly soothing. Just seeing her face makes us feel at ease. The Room—especially the bath—is great, and the water temperature is perfect. The hospitality is pleasantly attentive as well. The food is delicious, but it was a bit too much for us. However, they kindly made rice balls for us, and we ended up eating them later that night. This is the best Ryokan for us, and we will come again in winter to enjoy crab.

I had a comfortable stay again. I accidentally left something behind in the Room, and had assumed it couldn’t be helped, but you kindly contacted me and offered to send it. The Room bath was truly relaxing, and I ended up soaking in it again and again. The weather was great, and the views of Wakasa Bay and the surrounding islands from the Room and the bath were absolutely beautiful. Dinner, featuring mainly local fish, was exceptionally fresh and very filling. I tried my best to finish everything, but for the final sea bream rice cooked in a pot, I had it made into rice balls instead. They also handled my allergies properly, so I could enjoy the meal with peace of mind. I woke up early the next morning, which allowed me to enjoy a stunning sunrise. Breakfast was also made with local ingredients; not only were the individual dishes excellent, but simple items like rice, miso soup, and tofu were especially delicious. After breakfast, I wanted to relax a bit longer and take another bath as well, so if late check-out is available, it would be nice to have that as an option. My mother was very happy too, so we would love to stay again if we have the chance. Thank you very much.
