I first stayed about 10 years ago. The hospitality was wonderful, and since then I’ve been staying at Sennentei once every few years. This was my fourth visit. This time, I informed them in advance that a family member has difficulty walking. Upon arrival, they kindly prepared a parking space close to the entrance when welcoming us in the parking lot—thank you very much. They also showed great consideration with our Room, and our whole family had an enjoyable stay. Perhaps because of the season, there was also a free firefly viewing tour, and we were moved to see fireflies for the first time. It became a great memory. Next time, I’d like to stay in a higher-ranked Room! Thank you again, and we look forward to coming back!

We stayed as a group of four—my older sister, my mother, my aunt, and me—to celebrate my sister’s 60th birthday. Thank you for the flowers and message card delivered to our Room. Having photos taken during dinner also became a wonderful keepsake. You even prepared a special outfit for the 60th birthday celebration, which truly warmed our hearts. Since it was a weekday, the baths were not crowded, which was perfect for my elderly mother and aunt. For dinner (we chose a Plan with fewer dishes because two of us are elderly), everything was elegantly seasoned, and there were still enough dishes to leave us completely satisfied. It was the most delicious meal I have ever had in my life. In two years, I would like to stay again to celebrate my mother’s 88th birthday.

From arrival to departure, we had an excellent stay. The bath may have been recently renovated; both the bath and the Room were very clean and well maintained. Because it is a semi-open-air bath with a window, the bathing area doesn’t get cold, which was great. The Room faces the

We stayed here during our trip to Okinawa to celebrate our daughter’s birthday. The front desk staff were friendly, and the Room was clean—we were very satisfied. The location is within American Village, which made it easy to enjoy the area. We heard that the Chunichi Dragons were holding their training camp at the stadium next door, and we would have loved to see it if the timing had worked out. Breakfast offered a wide variety of options, including Okinawan dishes, and it gave us a great start to the day.

This Hotel came highly recommended by a friend for its wonderful breakfast, and it truly lived up to the praise. Both the buffet and the kaiseki-style breakfast were delicious and fun. Everything looked so good that I ended up eating far too much, so a bit of self-control might be needed (as usual, I still wasn’t hungry by lunchtime). The free-flow alcohol option also really lifted my spirits! In addition to breakfast, I’d also highlight the great location—about a 5-minute walk from Hakodate Station and around 3 minutes from the streetcar stop. The drum-type washer/dryer in the Room was very convenient during rainy weather and in seasons when you tend to sweat more (detergent is provided). One small note: the in-house loungewear is labeled “M” and “F,” so if you assume “M” means “women’s,” you may end up laughing like I did—“M” actually means a larger size, so it was very baggy on me. There are loungewear samples near the shop on 2F1, so I recommend checking them while you’re there to look at the pillow selection. I recommend both breakfast options (buffet and kaiseki), and the large public bath spanning two floors was also enjoyable. It’s a Hotel where I’d definitely like to book a Multiple Night Stay next time.

The dining area was spacious, and the food was delicious—overall, it was very good. There were also a well-equipped arcade and shop, so we could enjoy ourselves even while staying inside the Hotel. It was also great that there was a nearby ropeway to Atami Castle. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Atami.

Now in my 40s and with my parents in their 70s, I stayed here for a special parent-and-child trip. Unfortunately, it rained, but in the end we had an extremely satisfying stay. The sense of history, the tasteful architecture and furnishings, the staff’s hospitality, the wonderful meals (we dined at Le Trianon for both dinner and breakfast), and the cleanliness of the large public bath—plus the stunning view from the open-air bath—were all outstanding. My parents were truly delighted as well. In particular, Le Trianon’s breakfast course was the best we have ever had on any trip! Each dish—from the egg dishes to the smoothies—was carefully explained to us, making it a memorable experience (I was especially impressed that they used eggs from my hometown). Recently I stayed at newer luxury hotels in Karuizawa and Atami in a similar price range to this Hotel, but this historic Hotel clearly stands apart in terms of service and atmosphere. I hope to return with my family someday. Thank you very much.

The Room was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was great, and I was impressed by how spotless it was—clean enough to lie down on. The staff were cheerful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

We visited for a family trip to celebrate our daughter’s marriage. As it was formerly an art museum, we were overwhelmed by the meticulously designed building by Tadao Ando and the many artworks displayed throughout the property. The Room was extremely comfortable, and the pool we had been looking forward to was wonderful—we were able to fully enjoy this extraordinary space. We expected Western cuisine, but instead were delighted by beautifully refined Japanese dishes. The drink pairings matched to each course were perfect, and every dish moved us. The congratulatory wedding cake we had ordered was also truly delicious and became a wonderful keepsake. We sincerely appreciate the warm hospitality of all the staff. This is a superb Hotel where architecture, art, and food are all in harmony, and we would love to stay again.

This was my first stay, and it was truly a wonderful Accommodation. I have stayed at island Accommodations several times, but this one had a different feel. Having the sea so close by—and being able to see it from the Room—was great. The olive kaiseki cuisine was exceptional. It was fun and delicious to enjoy different kinds of olives in each dish. I also enjoyed relaxing in the private bath, but I did notice that the drainage seemed a bit poor—the shower water didn’t drain easily, which was inconvenient.

However, the room was very spacious, and we were able to relax in the large bath. The next day was cloudy with brief moments of sunshine when we managed to visit the beach—it was incredibly beautiful. Next time, I hope to fully enjoy the starry sky, ocean, and sunset on a sunny

The meals, the Room, the service—and of course the Onsen—everything is perfect! This is an Accommodation that makes you think, “I want to come back,” every time you visit. We were completely satisfied with everything: savoring elaborate kaiseki cuisine at a relaxed pace in a private dining room, the private gazebo, and the hospitality in the lounge. Thank you to all the staff for your thoughtful attention to detail. It rained on our arrival day, but even the rainy sea felt beautiful. Thank you for taking care of us on our family trip. Check-in while enjoying a welcome drink was a nice touch, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were two bathing options: a free open-air bath and a large public bath, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath. Dinner was delicious across the board; although we were full by the end of the meal, the house specialty “Izu Mabushi” was light and refreshing, so we enjoyed it easily. Breakfast featured a variety of side dishes served in small portions on multiple small plates—beautifully presented, and every dish was tasty. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We would love to come again. Thank you very much.

After seeing it in a magazine, I’d been wanting to visit for two years, and I finally got to stay here. It was an even more wonderful stay than I had imagined. The meals were delicious, with plenty of local ingredients. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve stayed at other Dormy Inn Hotels several times on business trips, and everything—cleanliness, the Onsen, and the meals—has always been excellent. This time we visited for a family trip, and my wife and child were thrilled. It made our trip truly enjoyable, and we’d love to stay again!
