Dinner was delicious as well—an unusual style of half-buffet with robatayaki grilling—and the large public bath with an open-air bath was very relaxing. The staff were courteous and attentive, which we really appreciated. The Facility is a bit old, but we chose this Accommodation in Tateshina as the place to commemorate reuniting with my wife for the first time in 50 years, and we were very satisfied. We visited Kamogawa Sea World for my daughter’s birthday and stayed at this Hotel for one night. We were looking forward to the dinner and breakfast buffets, and they were more luxurious than we imagined—we enjoyed plenty of sashimi and sushi. The sea bream kamameshi was so delicious I wanted a second serving. My daughter was very satisfied too, as she could eat lots of her favorite dishes. The breakfast croissants were also tasty. From our Room we had a panoramic view of the ocean, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The Onsen we enjoyed together left our skin smooth and felt wonderful. After returning home, my daughter and I talked about wanting to stay again.

The pool, location, Room cleanliness, and breakfast were all great. The kids were very satisfied too! If I had to mention one thing, we were on the 8th floor and there was a smell in the hallway (maybe from the air conditioning). The buffet staff also greeted us with smiles, and everyone was Japanese so communication was easy. We’d like to stay again.

This was my first stay, and everything was wonderful—the warm hospitality from the staff, the meals, and the Onsen. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as providing fireworks. The Room was spacious and relaxing as well. If I had one request, since guests move around the entire property in socks or barefoot, it would be nice to have slippers available. Other than that, I was very satisfied and would love to stay again when traveling to Lake Biwa next time.

I ended up enjoying three baths—at night, midnight, and in the morning—and found it pleasantly uncrowded each time. The staff at reception were exceptionally kind and helpful—both male and female employees made us feel welcome. One minor disappointment was that there were no yuk

The view of Mount Fuji from the Room was amazing. The bath was also great, but it would have been even better if there was an open-air bath. The staff were kind, and I felt relaxed and rejuvenated. Thank you very much!

Facing the Kanmon Straits, it was soothing to watch the ships passing through all the time. The meals were carefully selected and delicious. It was also great to be able to see the straits from the bath; however, the bath was quite crowded with many local residents, which surprised me a little. As a request, I think it would be relaxing if you could use some aroma fragrance or incense in the corridor where the Room is located.

I debated for a long time whether to write a Review, but I decided to do so. The food was excellent, and I was satisfied with the bath. However, there were several shortcomings in how my comments entered at the time of Reservation via IKYU were handled, which left me disappointed.

I stayed here for two days while attending an event in Mitoyo. The location was close and convenient. There was a convenience store nearby, and the free, spacious ground-level parking lot was a big plus. I like Route Inn because you can enjoy a large public bath. Breakfast was also very tasty and satisfying. I would stay here again.

The Onsen was absolutely amazing, with the perfect temperature. The lunch was also fantastic and truly exceptional. If I have the chance, I’d love to capture the snowy scenery and would definitely stay here again. On a side note, I admire the staff who work hard in a location where commuting by car is almost essential.

We stayed here for a celebration, and the meals, room, and service were all excellent—our whole family was very happy. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be perfect if both large public baths had an open-air bath and a sauna. Still, the in-room open-air bath was amazing—I even enjoyed it alone with a beer! The celebration cake, the drinks and sweets in the lounge, dinner and breakfast, and all the complimentary items and beverages were wonderful. The guest of honor—and our entire family—were truly impressed. Next time, I’d love to bring my parents as well; we look forward to staying with you again then.

We stayed for 3 nights with our 1-year-old child and five adults including our parents and siblings. It was a top-floor (4th floor) Room, and the view was even more amazing than in the photos—our whole family was truly impressed! With the beach nearby and stylish cafes around, we went to the beach every morning after breakfast and loved spending time walking along the shore. With two bedrooms and two washrooms, it was comfortable even for two families. The bathroom had only a shower, but since it was summer and the space (including the changing area) was very large and comfortable, it didn’t bother us at all. The parking area was spacious, everything we needed for daily life was provided, and we felt at ease even with a small child. We also really appreciated being able to borrow items such as a baby crib. There is also a 24-hour MaxValu supermarket and Nishimatsuya nearby, which made things very convenient. We would definitely love to stay here again when we visit Okinawa with our family!

Natural Onsen baths and a wide variety of delicious dishes. It feels like a luxury Onsen Hotel from Japan’s Showa bubble era. There are older and newer wings, and from everywhere we enjoyed stunning views of the calm, rolling waves of Mikawa Bay. The lighthouse was charming and atmospheric. The many sets of Mikawa samurai armor and bridal kimono also gave us a sense of the history of Katahara Castle from the Sengoku period. Thank you to all the staff for your hospitality.

We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was well cleaned. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had weak water pressure. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We would like to stay again.

I stayed here on a solo trip because I wanted to relax while looking out at the ocean. When I arrived, there was a live fish tank in the lobby with lots of fish swimming around. After check-in, a staff member guided me to my Room and explained everything along the way. When I opened the curtains, the ocean stretched out right in front of me! The large public Onsen bath seemed to use seawater, but it didn’t feel sticky at all and was very pleasant. I could enjoy ocean views not only from my Room, but also from the large public bath and the dining area, which left me feeling truly refreshed.

One small note: the balcony railing feels obstructive to the view. Since the balcony is undoubtedly non-smoking, removing the fixed railing would allow guests to fully enjoy the stunning reverse Hakodate night view. Of course, even as it stands now, this is a wonderful Hotel.
