The sun viewed from the ocean-view Room is endlessly captivating. The building is older, but it offers a spacious layout and is kept very clean. The meals when I stayed before were also delicious, made with local ingredients.

Chokotto Villa was amazing. A cozy Room. Delicious, hearty meals. A coastline nearby where you can watch a spectacular sunset. A sky full of stars seen from the open-air bath. (We were lucky—it was especially clear that night.) I’ve stayed at many private rental villas, but having everything on one floor is a huge help for seniors who may need the toilet during the night (lol). (It’s quite common to have the bedroom on the second floor and the toilet on the first.) I think it’s also great for families with children. It made our Awaji Island trip truly satisfying. Thank you very much.

We stayed here for the first time for my wife’s birthday. The Facility is old, but that can’t be helped. The Room was exactly what we requested and was well cleaned. The bed firmness was just right, and we slept well. Both dinner and breakfast were very delicious. The Onsen was great, but it was disappointing that one of the shower stations had weak water pressure. The staff were extremely helpful and kind. We would like to stay again.

We first stayed here last year, and this was our second visit. The Facility is as comfortable as ever—an outstanding cottage. The BBQ terrace is also clean and more than spacious enough even for two families. This time we weren’t lucky with the weather, so we couldn’t see the sunset (lol). The private beach was just as amazing! The stairs down to it had been nicely repaired, so we could use them with peace of mind. We all agreed we’d like to make this an annual stay (lol). We’d love to come back again!

I visited Ishikawa Prefecture hoping for the recovery of the Noto Peninsula. I took a wrong turn and arrived late, but I truly appreciated your thoughtful consideration. Perhaps because it was a Sunday stay, I was able to use the private bath both at night and in the morning. It was wonderful to relax and enjoy a long soak. The meals were served in a semi-private dining area, and both dinner and breakfast were delicious—I was completely satisfied. The Room was clean, and I was able to spend my time comfortably. All of the staff were excellent, and I would definitely like to stay again.

All the staff greeted us with warm smiles and made us feel very welcome, so we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. The meals were gently seasoned to bring out the quality of the ingredients, and everything—from the presentation and service to the location—was wonderful; we were truly impressed. The in-room bath was quite hot at first, but as we had been advised, we added cold water and adjusted it to our liking. The spring quality was excellent—I soaked four times. However, the bedroom had only a mattress laid directly on a wooden floor at the bottom of the stairs; tatami would have been fine, but with wooden flooring, a raised bed frame would have been more comfortable. Overall, we were extremely satisfied, and it has become our favorite Accommodation—we definitely want to return in another season.

This Hotel is set on spacious grounds in a quiet lakeside setting, perfect for relaxing at a leisurely pace. The view from the panoramic bath is outstanding. The meals are generous—so much so that you may not be able to finish everything. The only drawback was that BS channels were not available.

The Room was very clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was great, and I was impressed by how spotless it was—clean enough to lie down on. The staff were cheerful and kind. I would definitely stay here again!

After visiting Ise Jingu from Tokyo, we stayed here. The Hotel is close to Kumano Sanzan and located by the Pacific Ocean. The staff were all wonderful, and the dinner featuring fresh tuna bowl, whale sashimi, and Tatsuta-age was exquisite. At the nearby Whale Museum, we had a rare experience feeding and touching whales. This clean and lovely Hotel offers a luxurious breakfast accompanied by live piano music. We stayed for two nights, enjoying the slow pace of time in Taiji Town—a place filled with whale and dolphin monuments—and hoped that this traditional fishing culture continues for generations to come. We stayed in connecting rooms with three generations—our children, our grandchild, and us. On the day we arrived, we went to Dino Park; early the next morning, we visited the Dinosaur Museum; and in the afternoon, we had a great time playing at the Hotel. Our 8-year-old grandchild was thrilled and said, “This is the best Hotel I’ve ever stayed at!” It didn’t feel old at all—perhaps it has been renovated—and there were plenty of play areas for kids, so we could enjoy both indoors and outdoors. The food was delicious as well. My husband says he wants to come back in winter, and our children want to return again with all the cousins. The nature was beautiful, and it turned into a wonderful summer vacation for both adults and kids. Thank you.

This time as well, during the May holiday period, the three of us stayed (Japanese-Western style room with dinner and breakfast included), and we returned home extremely satisfied with the consistently reliable service. Even amid recent challenging changes such as rising prices, we can see that you have made tremendous management efforts to maintain both your service quality and pricing. We stayed in a larger room, so it felt very spacious, and the bathroom was huge. Booking early comes with a great early-bird discount. The lobby air conditioning is very cold, which is excellent. The balcony faces the ocean and offers a beautiful sea view. There’s a Starbucks within walking distance of the hotel, and OP Onigiri also has a branch nearby, so it’s very convenient for food. Unfortunately, the in-room Facility feels a bit outdated, and you need to turn on an additional switch for hot water before you can take a shower. The loft room has windows, so once the sun comes up in the morning, you’ll naturally wake up from the sunlight—bring an eye mask if you want to sleep in. Overall, it’s still a nice hotel. I hope they can update their hardware facilities, and I’d be happy to stay again.

The Facility was very unique and interesting. The room key can be linked with Suica, allowing guest room information to be registered on Suica during check-in (also available with the Suica app on smartphones). From using the elevator to entering the guest room, everything can be completed with Suica on your smartphone, making it extremely convenient.

I stayed here for the first time to celebrate my birthday, and I’m glad I did—I had a very satisfying stay. At check-in, the gentleman who assisted me was extremely courteous, which made for a pleasant start to my trip. The Room was spotless, and I was especially happy with the well-stocked amenities. The shower in the Room was excellent. I had assumed it would be small, but there was plenty of space and strong water pressure—very satisfying. I also used the Onsen and the pool. The pool had a great view; it was a shame it was cloudy that day, but there were warmer areas in the water temperature-wise, which felt really nice. If I had to mention one thing, it would be perfect if they were directly connected to the Hotel with no need to go outside. I wanted to use the Onsen before checkout, but even though it isn’t far, you still have to walk outdoors—and I didn’t feel comfortable doing that right after waking up without makeup—so I gave up on that idea. Still, I had a fulfilling and worthwhile time overall, and I’m glad I chose to stay here.

We stayed here for a celebration, and the meals, room, and service were all excellent—our whole family was very happy. If I had to ask for one thing, it would be perfect if both large public baths had an open-air bath and a sauna. Still, the in-room open-air bath was amazing—I even enjoyed it alone with a beer! The celebration cake, the drinks and sweets in the lounge, dinner and breakfast, and all the complimentary items and beverages were wonderful.
