The building seemed a bit old, but it was well cleaned and felt very tidy and comfortable. I stayed for one night and two days. On the first day, I used the adjacent Agannasse baths. The variety of cold-water baths was great, and there was also complimentary coffee. The next morning, I used the large public bath before departure, which was also very nice. I only had the breakfast buffet, but there was a wide selection and everything was delicious.

This was my first stay, and everything was wonderful—the warm hospitality from the staff, the meals, and the Onsen. I also appreciated the thoughtful touches, such as providing fireworks. The Room was spacious and relaxing as well. If I had one request, since guests move around the entire property in socks or barefoot, it would be nice to have slippers available. Other than that, I was very satisfied and would love to stay again when traveling to Lake Biwa next time.

This was my first time staying for three nights, and everything was great—the service struck the perfect balance of attentiveness and distance. It was a bit pricey, but it’s now on my list of Accommodations I’d like to treat myself to again. If I had to mention one thing, I’d love the meals to have a bit more originality!

I have a personal connection to Towada, and I used to visit often about 20 years ago. This time, I stayed here out of nostalgia. It’s a Business Hotel, but having a large public bath was very convenient. Perhaps because many business travelers stay here, breakfast is served from 6:30 a.m., and it was delicious. Of course, the room was clean and comfortable as well.

We stayed here with four adults—my parents and us as a couple. This was our second visit, and we were able to relax thanks to the seasonal cuisine and wide selection of drinks. Since everyone has different preferences, the all-inclusive plan made it easy for all of us to enjoy both the meals and the baths, making it a truly wonderful trip.

The room is not very large, but it is very clean, and the shuttle bus between the hotel and the station was extremely convenient. It significantly reduced walking time under the scorching summer sun, which was a great help. Reservations can be made online, and the bus runs multiple times back and forth, which was truly appreciated. The driver was also a very kind person.

The sauna’s automatic löyly was excellent. The 8.6°C cold bath was amazing. The water pressure in the “out-of-body” jacuzzi was truly impressive. It was a top-class large public bath.

The Hotel staff provided attentive service, allowing us to have a pleasant stay. Additionally, the sports Facility was well-equipped, and our entire family had an enjoyable time. Thank you for the delicious meals as well.

In May 2026, I was invited by my junior high school friends and stayed here, and I discovered how great it is to have drinks and karaoke included. In June, four of us who love to drink stayed again. From arrival until dinner, we were allowed to enjoy drinks in the lobby. At dinner, there was a 90-minute all-you-can-drink plan, and the four of us enjoyed plenty of draft beer, sake, and wine. In particular, being able to compare different sakes was excellent. The all-you-can-eat crab was also delicious—we were very satisfied. After that, we had a great time with karaoke. Breakfast the next day also came with delicious seafood; we could even have a seafood bowl in the morning, which made us very happy. This time I organized the trip, and everyone was very satisfied—so we decided to do it here again next time. This Accommodation is highly recommended for anyone who loves alcohol. Also that day, by chance we received a Fukui Prefecture coupon worth 5,000 yen and bought some Fukui sake to take home. It really was a lucky trip.

We stayed in a Room with an open-air bath. Overall, we were satisfied with everything—the bath, the meals, and the service. We had a wonderful time. The in-room open-air bath while looking out at the sea was very comfortable. The large public bath was also very spacious and not crowded, so we could relax and enjoy it. Both dinner and breakfast were beautifully presented, and we enjoyed them very much—especially the grilled abalone and shabu-shabu. We deducted a few points because the parking lot is far away (which could be difficult in rainy weather), there are limited choices for meal times, the Room does not have an automatic lock, and noise from the hallway carries easily, but overall we think it is a great Accommodation that we can recommend to friends.

It was absolutely amazing! Since we stayed just one night, it flew by, but I’m so glad we decided to rent the whole house! The place is stylish in every way, and there were plenty of towels—so after playing in the pool, we went straight to the Onsen! We could also do laundry, played in the pool again the next morning, and then back to the Onsen! The hot sandwiches included in the breakfast Plan were very filling. We also found the Arita mandarin orange juice that came with breakfast being sold elsewhere as a souvenir, so we bought some to take home. The quality of the meat for dinner BBQ was excellent—tender, juicy, and truly delicious! Meat included in BBQ Plans is often tough and not very impressive, but this one was incredibly good! Next time I’d love to bring friends and definitely stay here again!

Our family of three stayed for one night. The building had a sense of history, and there were no inconveniences except that the Room on the second floor was accessible only by stairs. We enjoyed a Japanese dinner. The ingredients were outstanding, and we were able to savor both meat and fish. Breakfast was also very delicious, and we could tell it was carefully handmade. The seasoning was just right, and we were very satisfied. The bath could be used like a private family bath, which actually made it more comfortable than a large public bath. The Room felt newly refreshed, as if it had been properly renovated—everything from the walls and ceiling to the bathroom area was thoroughly cleaned down to every detail, making our stay very comfortable. We were able to continue our trip while taking into account the owner’s travel advice as well. Thank you very much.

We stayed at a private villa of Mihokan during the Obon holiday to visit both Izumo Taisha and Miho Shrine. The two-story traditional house was beautifully maintained, clean, and equipped with a spacious private bath. We enjoyed listening to jazz on the stereo in a relaxing atmosphere. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, were abundant and featured delicious local seafood. The main building where breakfast is served has an intriguing design reminiscent of the "Infinity Castle" from Demon Slayer, making it exciting to explore. The street in front of the accommodation is beautifully paved with blue stones, leading to Miho Shrine in about five minutes. We highly recommend attending their morning ritual; even during the summer heat, the shrine grounds were filled with refreshing air that energized us for the day ahead. Additionally, the staff provided excellent service that made our stay very relaxing. Thank you very much!

Our stay coincided with Typhoon No. 9. Normally, dinner requires a Reservation, but since going out or ordering delivery was difficult, they kindly provided a special Okinawa soba dinner for us. Unfortunately, we couldn’t enjoy the sauna, pool, or the starry sky we had been looking forward to, but thanks to the friendly staff, all-you-can-drink beverages and snacks, and the jacuzzi, we had a very satisfying stay.

I stayed here for my second night on a solo trip. Tucked away down a small path, it was so quiet—no traffic noise, just birds and insects. There were even cute little frogs on the terrace, which felt wonderful for someone who loves wildlife. The grounds are beautifully planted with lots of greenery, and the Room was extremely clean. The meals used ingredients harvested on the property and were outstanding—carefully prepared and delicate, yet warmly home-style at the same time. After the delicious dinner, they prepared a beautiful open-air bath for me, and I slept like a log until right before breakfast time. The owner couple were also very kind, sharing details about the ingredients, the plants on the property, and recommended spots to visit. This is a truly wonderful Accommodation filled with their care in every aspect—from the Room to the food to all Facilities. It’s an Accommodation I’ll definitely want to return to. We decided to take a family trip after seeing a YouTuber’s video. When you open the Room door, straight ahead is a fixed center window with an unobstructed ocean view. It’s a refreshing scene where the blue sea and blue sky feel as if they blend into one. For three of us, the staff prepared two beds plus a futon in the tatami corner. We rested very comfortably. The Onsen information explained that the source water is lukewarm, and that alternating between the mist sauna and the regular-temperature Onsen is effective, so we tried it. Dinner was a course meal. Because we made an all-inclusive Reservation, it applied during meals as well—we enjoyed wine and beer, of course, and even the apple juice was delicious. The presentation was beautiful, and we had freshly baked bread with olive oil. Breakfast was titled “Mom’s Breakfast,” and in the kitchen all of the women were working energetically. Having freshly cooked rice served straight from the pot was especially delicious. There was also a morning yoga class, which we joined. Even though it was mostly gentle poses, I sweated an incredible amount during the lesson. And after loosening up comfortably, it was time for another dip in the lukewarm source Onsen! The lounge offered sake tasting and a coffee machine as well, and for late-night snacks we had curry. There’s actually no TV in the Room, but we didn’t miss it at all. An aroma set with a wood-themed design was provided in our Room too, which also felt very relaxing. The Facility throughout the building was spotless. You can choose from samue loungewear, pajamas, or T-shirts for indoor wear—many guests paired pajama bottoms with a T-shirt as their outfit around the property. I kept thinking “I want to go again!” but since it takes five hours by car from our home, we won’t be able to visit for a while. Still, this is an Accommodation I’d love to return to. I hope this helps others.

As the Hotel is located on the upper floors of the relatively new (2-year-old) Chunichi Building, it is connected to the station underground, so you can get around without getting wet. Since it’s a commercial building with several restaurants in the basement, we also recommend relaxing and spending time at the Hotel. There are department stores nearby as well, making it a convenient location for dining in a lively area and for sightseeing anywhere. The Room was spacious, and the bathtub was deep enough to relax. I’d like to stay again if I have the chance.
