My daughter stayed here in June for her wedding. Hakodate is one of my favorite cities, and I have stayed at many Hotels there. This time, since we had the wedding, we were looking for a Hotel where she could relax as much as possible, so we chose this Hotel, which I had been interested in for some time because of its great Reviews. According to my daughter: The service was extremely courteous, the breakfast was delicious, and there were plenty of amenities and thoughtful items to enhance the stay (such as a coffee grinder and hair iron), making it very comfortable. Next time, I would love to stay here myself. Thank you to all the staff for your kindness.

Now in my 40s and with my parents in their 70s, I stayed here for a special parent-and-child trip. Unfortunately, it rained, but in the end we had an extremely satisfying stay. The sense of history, the tasteful architecture and furnishings, the staff’s hospitality, the wonderful meals (we dined at Le Trianon for both dinner and breakfast), and the cleanliness of the large public bath—plus the stunning view from the open-air bath—were all outstanding. My parents were truly delighted as well. In particular, Le Trianon’s breakfast course was the best we have ever had on any trip! Each dish—from the egg dishes to the smoothies—was carefully explained to us, making it a memorable experience (I was especially impressed that they used eggs from my hometown). Recently I stayed at newer luxury hotels in Karuizawa and Atami in a similar price range to this Hotel, but this historic Hotel clearly stands apart in terms of service and atmosphere. It was such a comfortable Room where I could relax without worrying about anyone else. The rooftop area with 360-degree views was also great—I brought up beer from my Room—and the contrast between traffic jams and dusk was striking. Everyone at the Hotel was kind and warm. Next

We stayed for one night after reading the Reviews. The Room with a renovated open-air bath and indoor bath was very clean and comfortable. We could see the ocean from the open-air bath, and the water temperature was just right, so we were able to relax at our leisure. Plenty of towels were provided, and they smelled wonderful, which really lifted our mood. The kettle was a BALMUDA, the hair dryer was a Dyson, and other furnishings were also high quality. The meals were lightly seasoned with rich dashi flavor; everything was delicious and we left completely satisfied. The service from the front desk and dining staff was excellent, making this one of the Accommodations we would love to visit again.

The cuisine was outstanding and truly moving. Each dish reflected careful selection of fresh local ingredients and meticulous preparation. Given the location, I expected excellent seafood, but the vegetables were beyond anything I imagined. This Accommodation is well worth going out of your way for.

Adjacent to Huis Ten Bosch, this Hotel offers an excellent Onsen Facility. The breakfast buffet is varied and delicious, and the staff service is outstanding—I would like to stay here again.

Thank you for taking care of us on our family trip. Check-in while enjoying a welcome drink was a nice touch, and the Room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. There were two bathing options: a free open-air bath and a large public bath, and we could even see Mt. Fuji from the large public bath. Dinner was delicious across the board; although we were full by the end of the meal, the house specialty “Izu Mabushi” was light and refreshing, so we enjoyed it easily. Breakfast featured a variety of side dishes served in small portions on multiple small plates—beautifully presented, and every dish was tasty. The staff were also very pleasant and welcoming, which made our stay even better. We would love to come again. Thank you very much.

We stayed here as a couple for our wedding anniversary. It seemed we had the place to ourselves by chance, so we were able to truly relax. Every dish was carefully prepared, and everything was a flavor we had never tried before—absolutely delicious. The owners were also very kind, and we had a wonderful time. We would love to come back and stay again at a leisurely pace.

This Accommodation comes highly recommended by a renowned Hotel critic. Although it is away from central Nagasaki, I think it is a Hotel well worth going out of your way to visit. The Room was of a level you normally couldn’t stay in at this price. We arrived early for check-in, and the staff recommended a walking route around the Hotel—about 40–50 minutes on foot. Since it feels quite isolated without a car, we also had dinner here. It’s an expensive set-course dinner, so my rating was slightly strict because of the price. They also offer an à la carte menu. For breakfast, I chose the Western option. It felt a little lacking that there was only one type of bread—the same round French loaf as at dinner. The Japanese breakfast might be more recommendable. I requested Shuttle Service from the port and communicated by email; their responses were fast and excellent. That alone shows this is a first-class Hotel. Because of the ferry schedule, it looked like we might arrive just before lunch service ended, but they did their best to accommodate our request (in the end we switched to an earlier ferry so it wasn’t necessary). Also, the ferry from Sasebo was not as rough as I had feared—an easy and comfortable 30 minutes. There’s too much to say here, but I’m truly grateful for all the thoughtful care shown by every member of staff. “A Hotel worth making your travel destination.” That’s what this place is.

This is my absolute favorite Hotel. I love traveling and have stayed in many places, but One Suite is the only Hotel that makes me want to come back again and again.
