I stayed here with my child. The building blends beautifully into a quiet, peaceful town, and its wonderful atmosphere instantly soothed both body and mind after a long day of walking. I was overwhelmed by the number of books at first. There is also a spacious garden, and the surrounding environment is wonderful—an ideal place to relax on a trip. The Room was clean and well maintained, and it felt very comfortable. Next time, I would love to book a Multiple Night Stay and unwind even more.

We stayed for two nights in a private annex with three families to celebrate the golden wedding anniversaries of my parents and my wife’s parents. The villa’s facilities, the staff’s thoughtful hospitality, and the view from the villa were all outstanding—everything was perfect. It’s a place we’d love to return to. The surroundings are very quiet, and at night the starry sky is breathtaking when you look up.

We stayed here for a birthday trip for my mother and our dog. The Facility and the food were excellent, but even more than that, every staff member we met was wonderful, and we were able to spend a truly comfortable time. What impressed us most was that all the staff remembered our dog’s name and greeted us using it. We will definitely stay again. Thank you very much.

I was able to relax on the sofa while enjoying the view of Oshima from the Room. There was a massage chair in the Room, which was great for easing my swollen legs after being stuck in traffic. Oshima could also be seen from the open-air bath in the Room, and since it was a private open-air bath attached to the Room, I was able to soak in the Onsen at my leisure. Dinner and breakfast were delicious. The simmered kinmedai (splendid alfonsino) was especially well-seasoned and very enjoyable. I will stay again, and I look forward to visiting you.

Blessed with fine weather and feeling well, my spouse and I were thoroughly satisfied with the beautifully crafted French dishes, each like a work of art. The location was excellent, and we fully enjoyed watching Mt. Fuji change color moment by moment through the window. The Ikeda 20th Century Museum of Art is also nearby, making it a wonderful day.

We were blessed with great weather on this trip—clear skies every day and stunning views of Mt. Daisen and the Sea of Japan from the mountain. Because this Facility comes so highly recommended, we arrived early to make the most of it. With the all-inclusive plan, we enjoyed a beer right away while soaking in the open-air bath on our Room’s balcony. The Room had a Western antique style, and everything—from the bed and furnishings to the tableware—was superb. The Italian dinner was outstanding and truly worthy of an auberge, and the house wine was exceptionally delicious. The hospitality was excellent as well; the owner personally greeted us, and we had a wonderful conversation. From around sunset, a sea of clouds began to spread out—so spectacular that even the owner said it was something rarely seen. We were able to fully enjoy both an incredible meal and breathtaking scenery.

We stayed one night in an “Omakase Suite (with breakfast).” Unfortunately, it rained, so we couldn’t see a beautiful sunset or sunrise, but the spacious, clean, and very comfortable bathroom (about 100 m²) made it an absolutely wonderful stay. The Hotel’s hospitality and service

All the staff were incredibly kind and warm. They responded quickly when I wasn’t feeling well, and thanks to that I was able to enjoy my trip without changing any of my plans. My first enzyme bath also helped relieve my fatigue. If it were closer, I’d feel like coming even once a month. The French restaurant was outstanding—the fish and vegetables were fresh and delicious. The wine pairing was perfect, and we enjoyed it very much. For breakfast we chose the Japanese set, and the kenchin-jiru soup—something I hadn’t had in a long time—was excellent. There was a wide variety of dishes, all delicious. The Room was comfortable as well, and we were satisfied with everything—we would definitely like to visit again. It had switched to the early-summer menu. Even when I’m worn out from work and forget the sense of the season, staying at Sunset Susami always lets me head home feeling a little more refreshed. The creative dishes made with fresh, seasonal local ingredients are wonderful, and the Onsen—with different temperatures depending on where you bathe—is always excellent. The building is always kept spotless whenever I visit, and even when staff change over, they carefully clean tables after meals. One of this Accommodation’s charms is how strongly you can feel the staff’s sincerity. The special dessert introduced this time—the Inazumi Roll made by a front desk staff member—was truly delicious. The sponge was moist, and it paired perfectly with coffee. (As expected from a former Dojima Roll pastry chef—it really is on another level.) That’s given me yet another reason to stay at Sunset Susami. I love that I can always relax here (lol).

I stayed for one night. The Hotel and the Room were very clean, with thorough cleaning down to every detail, so I was able to spend my time comfortably. The Room was also spacious and very easy to relax in! All of the staff were warm and courteous, and I was very satisfied. The meals were delicious, and I could take my time enjoying them while chatting with friends. Thank you as well for accommodating ingredients I’m not comfortable with. Overall, it was a wonderful Hotel where I felt at ease and truly refreshed both physically and mentally. I would definitely like to stay here again when I visit Nara.

We stayed here for three nights after finding it by chance while planning a trip to enjoy the northern area with three generations. When we made the Reservation six months in advance, only the first floor was available, but it turned out to be perfect—there’s an entrance door right near the parking area, which was great since we were traveling with our grandfather. The space is spacious and the facilities are extremely well equipped. Instructions and guides were posted throughout, so we could relax and stay as if we were living there. It was hot during summer vacation, but we loved being able to take quiet walks along Fukugi Tree Road in the early morning and evening. The sound of the waves at Bise Beach was also incredibly soothing. It was also very convenient that parasailing, Kouri Island, and Junglia were all within 30 minutes. When we visit Okinawa again, our whole family agrees we’d love to stay here again. Highly recommended Accommodation!

It was a truly wonderful Accommodation. It’s almost right in front of Izumo Taisha—I didn’t realize it would be that close. Having an Accommodation nearby was perfect: we could rest right away after visiting in the heat, and also enjoy the atmosphere around the torii gates of Izumo Taisha early in the morning and late at night. I later learned that this is Mariya Takeuchi’s family home. I often listen to her music, so her vibe and the feel of the Accommodation really seemed to align—I was genuinely impressed. I’d love to come back again someday.
