The staff at the accommodation were all friendly, approachable, and polite, making our stay very comfortable! The weather was perfect, and we could even see the sunset from around the back of the accommodation. The food was all delicious, especially the variety of fresh fish

The food was outstanding. For dinner, the splendid alfonsino, abalone, and spiny lobster were all delicious, and the portions were more than we could finish. Breakfast was also excellent—the spiny lobster miso soup was especially tasty. The relaxation room offered free ice cream and coffee, as well as electric massage chairs. While the exterior and some common areas were not very clean, the guest rooms and dining area had been renovated.

The ocean-view bath was truly relaxing and wonderful. The only downside was that the men’s and women’s baths switch between morning and evening, so only one side has access to the sauna, but everything else was excellent.

The hotel was conveniently located near the station, and the late-night check-in process was smooth. It was also a plus that the large public bath had a sauna. Even with the cheapest Plan that included a buffet breakfast, there were both Japanese and Western options, as well as desserts. I was also impressed that staff opened the lids to keep the food warm when I approached. I felt they provided great service despite limited resources.

I stayed here to celebrate my son’s birthday and mine. Even though I mistakenly made a Reservation for a twin room instead of a double, they kindly changed it for me. We also received celebratory chocolates, and as always, The Ritz makes me feel elegant every time I visit. The staff and the food were outstanding. I would like to come again next year. I chose this ryokan in Chita because I wanted to enjoy fugu, and their fugu dishes were introduced on the site. My room was upgraded, and during this season, I could see both the sunrise and sunset from the room, making it a truly wonderful experience (I uploaded photos of the sunrise and sunset). Yesterday, there were reportedly over 100 guests staying here, but today it was just us. We had the luxury of enjoying the onsen all to ourselves. I imagine yesterday must have been extremely busy for the staff like a "battle," so we felt grateful yet slightly apologetic for being able to enjoy such a calm atmosphere today. The hostess was very friendly and chatted with us during mealtime, allowing us to relax and have an enjoyable time. The onsen features a unique "stone bath" design where water flows beneath stones, creating a serene bathing experience. The indoor bath is slightly hotter while the open-air bath has just the right temperature—perfect for those who prefer either hot or milder baths. Personally, I loved the temperature of the open-air bath; it was perfect for me! The natural fugu we came here for was absolutely delicious as well. Overall, this accommodation offers a relaxing stay with plenty of time to unwind at your own pace!

I visit Ajiro for fishing and always choose this accommodation as my regular stay. It's so comfortable that I often end up extending my stay. The view is great, and the private bath is absolutely amazing. I will continue to support you!

This was my first stay, and the Hotel—welcomed by Hideki Takahashi and his family—offered a wonderful view overlooking Lake Abashiri. While the Facility felt less luxurious than expected, it was still comfortably good overall. Food and drinks were excellent: during happy hour from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm at check-in, we enjoyed draft beer and other beverages along with oden. Dinner is described as a “light dinner buffet mini,” but that’s far too modest—the quality, quantity, and variety were more than sufficient, and on top of that there was an all-you-can-drink option (including draft beer) for 90 minutes, which made us very satisfied. After bathing, there were free massage chairs plus coffee and other soft drinks, and they even offer complimentary late-night soba—truly attentive service in every way. Use of the table tennis table was also free. There’s too much to list, but the baths were clean and well maintained, and all staff members were courteous and helpful. If I have another chance to visit, this is the Hotel I would consider first. Highly recommended!

This is my fourth stay. Although the building is old, the rooms are clean and very comfortable. Breakfast is one of the highlights, and I enjoy a delicious breakfast every time—this time was excellent as well! The on-site museum also has an impressive collection that is well worth seeing. I will stay here again the next time I visit Yurihonjo.

The Facility is old, but it is kept clean. Fishing from the pier is easy to catch fish, so even beginners can enjoy it. You can also relax while listening to the sound of the waves. In-room dining was also available as an option. You can enjoy breakfast while looking out at the sea. The staff are very friendly and attentive. I would like to visit again.

We stayed here to celebrate my girlfriend’s birthday. Everything was outstanding—the beautiful Room, the delicious meals, the private bath, and all the Hotel staff. The food in particular was amazing; the course meal made generous use of ingredients from Shimoda, and we could truly savor Shimoda’s richness from start to finish. The Hotel staff were also very kind—helping us with a small mishap in the bath (lol) and explaining each dish clearly. My girlfriend was thrilled, and I’m glad we chose this Hotel. Thank you for taking such great care of us!

Even though it was late at night, we were warmly welcomed after contacting in advance, which we truly appreciated. It might have been part of a special campaign, but the next morning when we departed, we received lacquered chopsticks from Obama as a gift. We were genuinely grateful and would love to stay again if given the chance.

Four friends and I visited Iki for the first time and enjoyed fresh seafood and Iki beef. The building is old, so it may be unavoidable, but our Room was on the third floor and the elevator only went up to the second floor, so we had to carry our luggage up the stairs. We were also disappointed that the toilets were shared. The bath was an Onsen, and in the early morning there were mineral deposits floating on the surface; it was a wonderful Onsen that kept us warm for a long time. The meals were fantastic—fresh sashimi served as a boat platter with raw sea urchin, abalone, and turban shell—and everyone was delighted. The Iki beef had beautiful marbling yet wasn’t greasy; it was sweet, tender, and truly delicious. It’s only about an hour from Fukuoka to enjoy such fresh seafood and an Onsen that leaves your skin smooth, so I would recommend it to friends as well. Thank you very much.

I have my family home in Onagawa, and when traveling to and from my hometown, I used to pass by the road next to this Hotel. This was my first time staying here, and the views from the Room and the bath were wonderful. Both dinner and breakfast used plenty of local ingredients and were very delicious. I’ll have another chance to visit my hometown, so I’d like to stay again.

We stayed at an Accommodation I had been interested in for a long time to celebrate my mother’s birthday. The food, the views, the open-air baths, the private open-air bath in our room, and the service were all excellent. We truly had a wonderful time.
