My second stay, following last winter. Last time I came by car. After sightseeing at Owakudani and other spots, I followed the navigation system and didn’t really know where it was, but this time I used the mountain railway and was surprised to find it was very close to Sounzan Station. Even on the walk from the station, I felt welcomed by a pleasant breeze and birdsong, and arrived at the Accommodation in great spirits. The attendant who looked after us was the same as last year. Their cheerful manner and excellent timing in serving meals were unchanged. The Room and shared areas were just as spotless as before—not a speck of dust—making everything feel wonderfully refreshing. The open-air bath assigned to each Room is located a short distance away, and ours was excellent again this time. With cuckoos calling more beautifully around this season, I could truly relax in both sound and hot water. The meals were delicious as before: a soup with pike conger eel (hamo) and junsai; seasonal ingredients like Manganji peppers with superb seasoning; gourd “kaminari-boshi,” which I hadn’t tasted in ages; plus breakfast highlights such as the vegetable salad and dressing, perfectly grilled salted salmon (both seasoning and doneness), and fresh yuba served at just the right moment. An Accommodation I’d love to return to for its hospitality.

After hiking Mt. Daisen, the location was close to Milk no Sato, and driving there was straightforward with no confusion. We went to the Onsen at 3:00 PM, and the baths were very comfortable with a good size and well-designed layout. From 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM, we were extremely satisfied in the lounge, enjoying as much beer, champagne, sake, and café menu drinks as we liked while taking in views of both the Mt. Daisen side and the Nakaumi/Sea of Japan side. The dinner buffet afterward also offered many luxurious dishes; drinks were all-you-can-drink as well with an expanded selection, and it felt like a more worthwhile way to spend time than going out to an izakaya or similar places. Every staff member we met in the hotel was cheerful and efficient. The Room was comfortable and even had a portable massager provided. We could relax at our own pace with the massage chair in the workspace area and unlimited comics available to read. The morning buffet the next day was flawless, and the coffee drip experience in the lobby was also very fun—and delicious. As an IKYU Diamond member experience, we enjoyed early check-in and late check-out, received souvenirs as well, and truly felt thoroughly taken care of. Thank you very much.

I made a Reservation for my mother, who loves buffets. Based on the Reviews, I wasn’t expecting much from the Facility, but everything was great: cleanliness was good, service was good—more than that, their consideration was outstanding. After I mentioned that my mother has difficulty walking, the staff at the dining reception spoke to us and looked after us, which made our stay very comfortable. Thank you so much. Top-tier buffet-focused Hotels tend to be attentive like this, but some aren’t, so I really appreciated it. The little extras—like ice cream after the bath and morning lassi—also felt like a big plus. The bath had a slight chlorine smell, but it was clean; there was a shampoo bar and plenty of basic skincare amenities as well. If you’re looking to cut costs, I’d rather have shower caps than disposable hairbrushes—and if you clearly state in advance that brushes aren’t provided, that would be fine too. The food wasn’t particularly novel, but everything was delicious and satisfying. What especially stood out—as many others have said—was the grilled eel kabayaki!! I was amazed by the quality. At this price point it’s unbelievable: large eel with great texture and rich flavor. We’ll definitely come again!

The bed was spacious, and it was a nice Room. The meals were buffet-style, and the shrimp tempura was excellent—you could tell the quality was high. I think this Hotel is a great choice for families who want to enjoy skiing. Strawberry picking at the roadside station is also fun.

This was my second visit. Last time I came in winter, so there were no rice plants and the paddies were muddy. I wanted to return during the lush green season. Bathing and dining while looking out over the rice fields and the distant mountains was truly refreshing. Both dinner and breakfast featured plenty of local ingredients, and everything was delicious. I will definitely visit again.

It was an absolutely wonderful stay. When I asked to leave my luggage before check-in, you kindly accommodated my request, which allowed me to go about my plans with peace of mind. The moment I stepped into the Hotel, I was enveloped in a refined yet glamorous fragrance that instantly made the experience feel special. All of the staff were impeccably presented, with polished manners and elegant language. Every interaction felt delightful and memorable. The Club Lounge presentations were all excellent. In particular, the Pasha coffee served at afternoon tea and the specially paired sweets were exceptional—I truly enjoyed a luxurious and uplifting time. I also stopped by the bar before bed, where the bartender created one original cocktail after another tailored to my preferences. It felt like being in a dream. In my room, I initially found the shower controls a bit difficult to use, but when I contacted you, a staff member came right away and explained everything clearly, which was very helpful. Above all, the bed was more comfortable than anything I have ever experienced, and I slept wonderfully. Thanks to you, it became an unforgettable trip. I would love to stay again. The Room was spacious, and the bed size was large, making for a comfortable stay. Compared to other Business Hotels, the bathroom was also larger and more relaxing. I signed up for breakfast after seeing the information provided, and the Japanese set meal allowed me to enjoy delicious local cuisine. The location was excellent and convenient for sightseeing.

The Room with a front-row view of the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge was spacious and spotless, and everything stood out as exceptional among all the Hotels and Accommodations we have visited so far; we could truly feel the Hotel’s thoughtful hospitality everywhere we looked. We had dinner in Kobe City and only breakfast at the Hotel, but the in-room breakfast was absolutely delicious. We happened to make a Reservation at this Hotel for our trip to Kobe, but thanks to the heartfelt care shown by all of your staff, we were able to spend a day that will remain a cherished memory. We stayed for two nights as a couple. Dinner was served in the Room. The meals, including Omi beef, fish and vegetables from Shiga, and local sake, were all delicious. It is conveniently located near historical sites such as Hikone Castle, Omihachiman, Nagahama City, and Chikubu Island, making sightseeing enjoyable. We would love to visit again if we have the chance.

The Room and bathroom were very clean. The coffee was especially delicious. Thank you. However, the refrigerator under the TV did not cool properly, and the mineral water remained lukewarm until the next day (even after adjusting the temperature settings).

We have been staying here as one of our regular Accommodations since your opening, for family trips and business travel. About 16 years ago, when our children were small, breakfast was a must for us, and I remember it being far better than it is now. However, in the past few years, I regret to say it no longer feels like a level we can continue choosing based on those memories. Given the location, it is an excellent base whether heading north or south. I believe your Accommodation holds an important position as a key presence and landmark in the Chubu region. I hope that, even without making it extravagant, you will be able to take steps to bring the breakfast quality back to what it once was. I understand the food and beverage department faces challenges amid cost competition, but I sincerely hope you can create an environment where improvements can continue.

We stayed with two dogs and our 1-year-old child. We were worried because we had a lot of luggage, but since we had requested a dog stroller in advance, we were delighted to see one at the entrance with our dogs’ names on it. The dog-first hospitality was wonderful, and the Room was well stocked with amenities for our dogs. We could also dine together, and we were able to relax comfortably. Above all, the staff’s kind attentiveness helped soothe the fatigue from our long journey. If we have the chance, we would love to stay again.

With my husband away on Father’s Day, I planned a surprise Onsen trip a week early. I decided the day before, but luckily I was able to Reserve. The Room was very spacious for two, and my husband seemed pleased with the open view. The meals were also delicious. During dinner, we came across a beautiful sunset and watched it until it set. We also enjoyed table tennis and tried billiards for the first time, making our time after dinner just as fun. The night sky from the open-air bath was filled with shining stars—truly beautiful—and we were glad to have such great weather. With an 11:00 check-out the next day, we relaxed until it was time to leave, and we both felt refreshed and fulfilled. The surprise was a success! Next time, we’d like to visit as a family with our children who are currently living on their own. Thank you very much for everything.
