We were looking for accommodation for our family of five and one dog, and we found this place. Since we live in an area without the sea, both our family and dog were thrilled with the ocean right in front of us. The absence of a TV actually increased family conversations, and we felt closer through activities like Othello, card games, soccer, and badminton. The manager was very kind and attentive, and we would love to visit again. Thank you very much!

This was our first stay, and the bathroom, toilet, and kitchen were all new, easy to use, and very comfortable. Dinner while watching the sunset was the best.

This time, I traveled to Oita with my daughter! She’s really into saunas and highly recommended Yorozuya. The Room, the Onsen, the food—and of course the sauna—were all excellent. I chose to stay here because the exterior and interior photos were so striking, and I was also drawn to the fact that it is operated by a public interest incorporated association that supports children with intractable illnesses and their families. The welcome drink and sweets, as well as the complimentary drinks, all had a distinctly Okinawan touch and were truly enjoyable. The staff’s service was polite yet friendly and warm, which left a strong impression. The private bath is used on a time-slot rotation, but since there aren’t many guest groups staying at once, it didn’t feel inconvenient at all. The spacious bath allowed me to relax comfortably. It drizzled lightly at night, and watching raindrops fall onto the water feature in the center of the building and ripple outward felt wonderfully magical. The next morning was sunny, so we had breakfast in the lush garden while surrounded by pleasant morning light. I was able to enjoy Okinawan dishes and fruits that are not easy to come across in everyday life—it was deeply satisfying. In particular, the island banana smoothie served before breakfast was so delicious that I honestly wanted seconds (haha). It was only one night, but it was a truly lovely Accommodation where I could step away from daily life and spend quiet, peaceful time.

This was my first visit. About a 20-minute taxi ride from Kibune, after passing through a peaceful satoyama countryside, you’ll find this culinary Ryokan by the Sanzen-in temple gate. Upon arrival, the staff welcomed us with attentive service and treated us to shiso juice. The Room faced the garden and was a calming Japanese-style space. They said they bring Onsen water from Sanzen-in, and I was able to relax and unwind in the open-air bath. The lounge area was well stocked with drinks and ice cream, which was great. Dinner starts at 6:00 PM, but since we had a late lunch, they kindly let us delay it by 30 minutes, which really helped. The dishes were beautifully presented, and everything was delicious. The appetizer featuring an Aoi Matsuri festival float decoration included Chinese lantern plant (hozuki), which made me feel the season. The pike conger (hamo) and sweetfish (ayu) were also beautifully plated and very tasty. Everyone at the Ryokan was truly kind, and their courteous service made me very happy. The Shuttle Service by bus was also extremely helpful. I’d love to visit again. Thank you very much for taking such good care of us.

The ocean view that greeted us the moment we entered the Room, the stylish background music, and every flower and decorative touch were wonderful. Unfortunately, we had strong winds and rain, but spending a relaxing, luxurious time in such a lovely Room was the best. Also, having the chef cook right in front of us became an unforgettable memory for our children as well, even though they were a little nervous. We would love to come back to enjoy the different views in summer, autumn, and winter from this beautiful Room. All of the staff were very kind. Thank you for taking such great care of us.

It was a Room with a private toilet and bath, and I was able to use it comfortably. The amenities were also replaced each time upon request.

We stayed here with a large group in January. First of all, the traditional kura-style building is truly one of a kind. It has been beautifully renovated to suit modern needs while preserving the charm of classic Japanese architecture. It’s even more impressive in person than in photos, and you can really enjoy the building itself—perfect for anyone who loves architecture. The living room feels incredibly open, and even with a big group it never felt cramped. The kitchen was surprisingly spacious, and it was stocked with more than enough cookware and appliances. There was also a great variety of tableware, all stylish, which made cooking even more enjoyable. The dishwasher in particular was large and high-performance, making cleanup easy even for a big group. There are multiple bedrooms as well, so everyone can rest comfortably. This Accommodation is ideal for the purpose of “staying together as a large group and relaxing.” Overall it’s very spacious, so we could spend time there without feeling self-conscious. We only ordered breakfast, but it was simple Japanese food and very delicious. For lunch and dinner we arranged our own meals—buying ingredients at nearby supermarkets (Tsuruya and AEON are conveniently close) and cooking ourselves—and that became part of the fun of the stay. With such well-equipped facilities, this place is especially recommended for those who enjoy cooking. Even though it was cold around New Year’s, the inside was warm and comfortable. The separate hinoki bathhouse was amazing; you heat the indoor bath yourself, but the scent of hinoki wood and the atmosphere were truly relaxing. There is also another bath in the main house (with a modern tub), which you can use as well—and we appreciated the thoughtful touch of underfloor heating in the changing area there. We were highly satisfied with everything—the space, facilities, and overall atmosphere—and would love to visit again in a different season.

Our three-generation family of six stayed for two nights. The property was still new and spotless, with an ocean view and plenty of space—great for the kids to spread out, and relaxing for the adults as well. We had a very comfortable stay. It wasn’t too far from the airport, and there were lovely cafes nearby as well as American Village, which made it very convenient.

The building, Room interiors, and furnishings are all exceptional. It was an unparalleled experience to touch and admire artistic plates and pitchers while enjoying a drink, as if viewing them through glass. The price is indeed in the high range, but it was absolutely worth it. The cuisine was also outstanding. The staff's deep knowledge of art and philosophy was truly inspiring and educational. Although I just returned, I already feel like visiting again. The Facility, including its location, is excellent. Highly recommended for those who love folk crafts. Thank you very much!

We visited as two families: 5 adults and 3 children. It was even more luxurious than it looked on the website, and everyone was thrilled! We had an amazing time enjoying a truly special getaway. The location has great views, and we didn’t have to worry about anyone around us. Unlimited sauna whenever we wanted, unlimited karaoke whenever we felt like singing, and we were able to spend wonderful private time together as a family. Unfortunately, the weather was bad so we couldn’t see the sunset at the moment it set, which was really disappointing. But the next morning it cleared up, and the kids relaxed in the hammocks you provided and worked up a sweat enjoying kite flying and badminton. If you plan for larger groups to stay, having a washer-dryer would be greatly appreciated. Thank you very much for your kind and thorough help when we thought our child might have forgotten something. We’ll work hard so we can come again next year.

We stayed for four nights, and although it rained, it was the most pleasant trip we’ve ever had. Our child and my parents were all very happy, and we were completely satisfied. I’d been curious about this place for a while, and this was my first stay. The atmosphere felt like a condominium in Hawaii or Australia. There’s no kitchen, but the space and layout have that kind of feel. It has underfloor heating, so it seems like it will be warm in the coming season as well. The meals were delicious, and the portions were just right. Also, I logged into YouTube to watch something and forgot to log out. The Room is very clean. There are delicious restaurants and a supermarket nearby. The surroundings are quiet, making this a very nice Accommodation. It’s also close to the beach and the Irabu Bridge, and the Room comes with a washing machine—perfect for guests who plan to go diving or enjoy other activities.

My family visiting from overseas stayed here. As soon as they arrived at Tenku, they were impressed by the beautiful views, and they were also happy that the outdoor bath has a water heater, making it easy to use. Although the building isn’t very large, they were impressed by how comfortable and well designed it is. However, the bathroom felt quite small. They were surprised by the small bathroom, but throughout their stay they kept saying, “We want to come again.”

It was wonderful. We stayed as a family of five and had plenty of space. We’ll definitely come again!

At first, I thought it was an apartment building and walked right past it. As soon as I was shown to the Room, I was greeted by a wonderful view and a calm, relaxing interior. At night, we could look up at the sky from the rooftop—the stars were beautiful. The Accommodation has a sauna, but I was disappointed that there was no chair in the shower room. It’s also a shame that you can’t see the view while soaking in the open-air bath—though you can if you stand up. Perhaps this is due to health department guidance. The meals were delicious and very generous in portion size; even our big-eating family member was completely satisfied. That said, for an Accommodation at this price point, a 10:00 checkout is far too early. Still, there is a nearby seaside market (“Umi no Eki”), which was very convenient for buying souvenirs. Driving along the seawall was also enjoyable.

When I found this Accommodation while looking for a place to stay in Kamakura, I felt so happy—this is it! That feeling was not disappointed at all; thanks to the wonderful space and warm hospitality, we were able to spend a truly happy time. We had both dinner and breakfast, and everything was delicious. We were moved by the chef’s attention to detail in every dish. The garden was also beautiful, and we felt lucky to see not only our dog but also visiting squirrels and small birds. It seemed to be run by a younger team, but everyone had a great atmosphere. The entire Hotel was refined and very clean, making it comfortable to stay. My mother struggled a little, so having grab bars in the bathroom would be greatly appreciated for older guests. It’s a place that made us want to come back. Thank you very much for everything.
