With mountain ranges and a lake, it’s the perfect place to fully enjoy nature. The open-air bath at dusk and early in the morning was extremely satisfying. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious. Goshikinuma is just steps from the Hotel, and with great weather we enjoyed an amazing holiday. I’d love to visit again during the autumn foliage season.

It was so lush and green that it hardly felt like Osaka, and it was incredibly relaxing. The staff were kind, and we had a wonderful time. Thank you very much. We will visit again.

I stayed here for a Mt. Tsukuba hike. I really appreciated being able to pick up the ropeway discount tickets even before check-in. The Onsen after the hike was incredibly soothing. The bath area has been beautifully renovated, and the amenities (POLA) were excellent. The view of the Kanto Plain from the Room is stunning, and the night scenery is beautiful as well. When I woke up in the morning, everything was pure white—I enjoyed a morning bath surrounded by clouds and a delicious Japanese breakfast. It wasn’t clearly stated, but free drinks like coffee and apple juice were available, which was a pleasant surprise. Both the restaurant staff and front desk staff were very courteous and left a great impression. I’ll definitely stay again.

On my first trip to Kushiro, I stayed two nights and spent the second night at Lake Akan. From the entrance to the front desk area looked just like the photos, with lots of wood throughout, and I relaxed on the lobby sofa before heading to my Room. I took a coffee out the back entrance and sat on a bench overlooking Lake Akan—such a great start. The Room was a double Japanese-style Room, more than enough for one person. It may have been renovated; it was a modern, clean tatami Room with a bed, which was great. The bath was a large indoor bath, but I also took the shuttle bus to an affiliated property and enjoyed their rooftop open-air bath—very satisfying! You’ll regret it if you don’t go (lol). Dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, and everything was delicious. You tend to think “Hokkaido = seafood,” but all the other dishes were also carefully prepared and tasted amazing. I planned to have a drink at the bar next to reception afterward, but I was too full and gave up (lol). The next morning, while taking a walk around Lake Akan, I ran into wild deer! After that, I took an early sightseeing cruise over to Marimo Hall. The cloudy sky wasn’t ideal, but the breeze felt great and it was very relaxing. It was just one night/two days, but I fully enjoyed nature and felt refreshed. I’d love to stay again if I get the chance.

One small note: the balcony railing feels obstructive to the view. Since the balcony is undoubtedly non-smoking, removing the fixed railing would allow guests to fully enjoy the stunning reverse Hakodate night view. Of course, even as it stands now, this is a wonderful Hotel.

We stayed here again this year following last year. The Room was clean, equipped with necessary amenities and comfortable yukata, and there is even a small but satisfying public bath. The izakaya next door is very convenient for dinner. This time, we were especially moved when we opened the Room door after check-in and saw the stunning sunset through the window.

This Hotel offered excellent value for money. The bath and toilet were separate, and everything still felt new and very clean. After the typhoon, the humidity was high, and I was surprised to get bitten by ants. Three appeared, so I contacted the staff and they moved me to another Room. The bed was a bit firm, but having a washing machine, microwave, and stove was great. I didn’t use them this time, but they would be ideal for a longer stay. Watching planes take off from the balcony was also fantastic.

From arrival to check-out, we had a very comfortable stay. Both dinner and breakfast were delicious, with such generous portions that we couldn’t finish everything. The staff were kind and their warm smiles were wonderful. When we visit the Nanki-Katsuura area again, we would love to stay at Manshiro again.

Last year, my 101-year-old mother-in-law passed away, and I invited my elder sister and niece, who have been feeling a bit lonely since then, to stay here. We celebrated my sister's birthday during dinner with a toast, and the staff surprised us with a Happy Birthday song and cake. Seeing my sister's happy smile made me feel so glad I chose this Hotel. Although we couldn't see the sunset this time due to rain (unlike last time), we will definitely come back again!

In the quiet flow of time, I spent a truly fulfilling day. Taking a bath while gazing out at the sea from the hilltop was more than just soaking—it felt as if the view itself seeped into my whole body. I also enjoyed breakfast with an ocean view, and it reminded me how rich doing nothing can be. It’s the perfect place to gently step away from everyday life and reset yourself.

We visited Kamogawa Sea World for my daughter’s birthday and stayed at this Hotel for one night. We were looking forward to the dinner and breakfast buffets, and they were more luxurious than we imagined—we enjoyed plenty of sashimi and sushi. The sea bream kamameshi was so delicious I wanted a second serving. My daughter was very satisfied too, as she could eat lots of her favorite dishes. The breakfast croissants were also tasty. From our Room we had a panoramic view of the ocean, and the sound of the waves was soothing. The Onsen we enjoyed together left our skin smooth and felt wonderful. After returning home, my daughter and I talked about wanting to stay again.

The view of the Sea of Japan was breathtaking. From the Room window, I could lie on the futon and watch the sunset—pure happiness. Dinner was an incredible feast of seafood, and it was truly blissful. The most delicious dish was the grilled dancing abalone. The luxurious course left me so full I thought I might burst. The only reason for -1 star was that the indoor bath water was too hot for me. The open-air bath was just right. All of the staff were kind and courteous, which made our stay very pleasant. A new Hotel, and everything is clean. It is a little away from downtown, but still within walking distance. Only breakfast is available; dinner is not provided. The breakfast buffet has just the right variety, and personally I liked that it didn’t lead to overeating. It gets crowded on days with group guests, so be aware. You can see the sea from the window, so the view is nice enough. Parking is free. There is a public bath and a coin laundry (washer and dryer are separate machines) on the second floor, which is convenient even for long stays. There is a 24-hour supermarket just a short walk away, making shopping easy as well. Since it was a corner Room, it was spacious. With a table, chairs, and a sofa, you can relax comfortably.

The parking lot in front of the Hotel was already full, so we were guided to a parking lot along the main road. It was very helpful that a staff member was there on site even in the heat. Although it was busy, the front desk staff were courteous, and the clean Room, plus free use of the washing machine and dryer, were very convenient. We also appreciated the complimentary water. There are restaurants and a drugstore within walking distance, making it a convenient location. Thank you!

I debated for a long time whether to write a Review, but I decided to do so. The food was excellent, and I was satisfied with the bath. However, there were several shortcomings in how my comments entered at the time of Reservation via IKYU were handled, which left me disappointed.

Both dinner and breakfast were buffet-style, with more variety than we could possibly try, and we were very satisfied. The location right in front of the sea offered amazing views, and we would love to stay again. It was a little disappointing that there was no morning bath on weekdays, but the facilities were spacious and clean, and overall we had a wonderful, fulfilling stay!

There were a few minor operational issues during breakfast, but the friendly and attentive service more than made up for them, so it was not a problem at all. The Facility and staff in each section were also excellent, and this is an Accommodation I would recommend to others.
