I stayed here with my wife on a trip to Kagoshima. Because it was raining and our flight was delayed, we couldn’t really enjoy the view, but we thoroughly enjoyed the Onsen with excellent water quality. The water is strongly alkaline and leaves your skin silky-smooth—personally, I loved it. The staff were all pleasant, and the meals were delicious without being overly large. Overall, we were satisfied with the Room that has a bath, except that the bathroom is fully visible from the bed. A curtain or similar covering on the bathroom door would help even middle-aged couples feel more comfortable. A great Onsen in a convenient location near Sakurajima and Ogawa Falls. Please continue operating for many years to come. Thank you very much.

I stay here once or twice every year, and it is always a truly pleasant experience. The buffet meals are all delicious—there’s nothing that feels mediocre—and the baths are spacious and comfortable. Some of the bath facilities (such as the showers) feel a bit dated, but there are no issues with using them, and having towels freely available made my stay very comfortable. I would definitely like to visit again.

Above all, the hostess is truly soothing. Just seeing her face makes us feel at ease. The Room—especially the bath—is great, and the water temperature is perfect. The hospitality is pleasantly attentive as well. The food is delicious, but it was a bit too much for us. However, they kindly made rice balls for us, and we ended up eating them later that night. This is the best Ryokan for us, and we will come again in winter to enjoy crab.

The Room was clean, and there was a desk lamp that could charge my smartphone just by placing it on it, so I had a very comfortable stay. There is a Starbucks near the Hotel, and there is also a convenience store at Kameoka Station, which was very convenient. I would like to stay again.

We stayed with my parents, my spouse and I, our three children, and one dog. We arrived after 2:00 pm, and they kindly allowed us to check in. We stayed in two Rooms, Seiran and Gekpaku, and breakfast was served for all seven of us together in Seiran. For dinner, the seven of us gathered around the irori hearth to grill the ingredients we brought, enjoying a relaxed time together. It was also fun to use the Tuk-Tuk Shuttle Service to Mochimune Station and Mochimune Minato Onsen. The grassy garden and cool earthen-floor area were comfortable for our dog as well, making this a pleasant trip for the whole family. We would love to visit again in a different season.

I chose this Accommodation because it seemed to have a great view from the Room, and with the good weather it was even more wonderful than I imagined. The meals were truly delicious! All of the staff were very pleasant, and one staff member was from overseas but explained everything carefully, which I really appreciated. Visiting Aso has become a very special memory for me. I visited with friends in March, and this time I came with my son’s family. The food is simply delicious, and even my five-year-old grandchild can have fun at the amusement park and inside the Hotel. Beer was available after bathing and during meals as well, which made my daughter-in-law very happy. The meals were excellent—both grilled Hamana Lake eel (kabayaki) and white-grilled eel (shirayaki) were so good that I ate far too much. I usually don’t eat seafood bowls elsewhere (because they’re not tasty), but for some reason I end up having them here. And the staff who prepare the food are very kind. Next time, I’d like to bring my daughter’s family too. The desserts made with local ingredients and the small dishes are also delicious. I don’t think there is any other Hotel buffet as good as this. The only problem is that I eat too much and gain weight. Even breakfast has great variety, and even the scrambled eggs taste wonderful. The shirasu and eel onigiri-style rice balls were very satisfying too. With four adults and one small child, it’s hard to deny that the room feels a bit small. But since a larger room would have doubled the price, we ended up trying to save money. Well, we only sleep there anyway. This may be a bit rambling, but considering the price, all I can say is thank you very much. If possible, I think a dry sauna would be better than the current one in the bath area.

I stay here around the same time every year. This year again, I was able to truly relax and feel refreshed. The staff were attentive, and everyone was wonderful. There are more foreign attendants now, but their Japanese is excellent, and I imagine they are well received by international guests as well. I use a wheelchair, and the considerate support provided was just right, making my stay even more comfortable. Having an Onsen in the Room that I can enjoy anytime is also fantastic. We stayed in the 2-Bedroom Mori Villa at the end of July with my parents and two children, and our whole family was extremely satisfied. We have stayed at many luxury hotels, but even my mother—who rarely gives high praise—said, “This was the most comfortable Hotel I’ve ever stayed in.” The private in-room Onsen was especially outstanding. In terms of size, use of space, comfort, and design, it felt truly distinct from traditional Onsen Ryokan. All staff were warm and kind, providing genuinely pleasant service. The atmosphere throughout the Hotel was wonderful, and during our stay we repeatedly felt that choosing this place was absolutely the right decision. This is a truly exceptional Hotel that we would love to stay at again. It became a priceless family memory.

I stayed for two nights to attend a concert at Ecopa (one night was booked through another site). Everyone at the front desk was kind and courteous, and I truly appreciated how supportive they were. The late-night noodles, several kinds of ice cream and dairy drinks, and the breakfast were better than I expected. (Even late at night, the staff serving the noodles greeted me with a warm smile and attentive service.) Breakfast was more than sufficient for a Business Hotel—small side dishes, egg dishes, fried shrimp, and fried chicken were all great. I was also surprised by the wide variety of dressings and sauces. Although my Plan did not include breakfast, I ended up adding it on both days. Just one thing: the Room had been renovated and was very clean, but the shower and toilet seemed older, with some mold that couldn’t be fully removed. I think it would be even better if those areas were renovated as well. I had a wonderful stay and would love to visit again. Thank you very much.
