The old wooden structure, built in the early Showa era, carries both charm and imperfections in equal measure. You may feel a slight draft through the wooden-framed windows, notice low lintels standing proudly, or hear the stairs creak apologetically underfoot. If you can appreciate these as part of its charm, it would bring us great joy and gratitude. Over the years to come, we plan to gradually make improvements while preserving the unique qualities that make this building special.

The alkaline Onsen water with a pH of 9.3 contains a moderate amount of metasilicic acid, making it a "beauty bath" that leaves your skin smooth. It is a completely free-flowing Onsen without any added chlorine, ensuring a safe bathing experience even for those with sensitive skin. Upon check-in, we provide a brief Onsen guide. Our cuisine, which focuses on local ingredients, is highly praised, and you can also choose a course featuring the renowned Chiya beef. As an optional activity, we offer a mini-tour of the historic Onsen town in a British-made limousine powered by biofuel. During dinner, enjoy the enchanting performance of an antique music box.
The Property offering kaiseki cuisine featuring Shinshu Wagyu allows guests to enjoy a panoramic view of the Onsen town from the open-air bath on the 4th floor. Renovated in July 2020, it opened an executive floor on the 5th floor, complete with an exclusive lounge where guests can enjoy local craft beer and coffee for free. Situated at Asahidake in the Daisetsuzan mountain range, Yukomanso is surrounded by majestic nature and beautiful alpine plants, beloved by many hikers. In spring, you can see budding plants amidst the lingering snow; in summer, vibrant alpine flowers in full bloom; in autumn, Japan's earliest autumn foliage; and in winter, the finest powder snow. The Onsen at Yukomanso has been continuously flowing since its discovery in 1914, providing over 300 liters of water per minute as its source.
