In 2018, we added a new private bath building featuring wallpaper that covers an entire wall, depicting Shimonoseki’s sightseeing spots and scenes from the famous Kanmon Straits Fireworks Festival. Relax in traditional Japanese-style rooms and enjoy the fresh scent of tatami while indulging in delicious local ingredients. We also offer picture books and toys for children to borrow, as well as baby cribs and bath toys.

Each room is equipped with a private onsen, allowing you to enjoy your own time without any concerns. In the evening, the sun sets just beyond Unagiike, highlighting the surrounding mountains in silhouette. The sun sets and rises again. Although similar to everyday life, the time here feels uniquely special.

Shironoshita Guesthouse is located about a 15-minute walk from the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Himeji Castle, and about a 4-minute walk from JR Koguchi Station, which is one stop (150 yen) on the Bantan Line from JR Himeji Station. It is also about a 23-minute walk from Himeji Station, so you can choose to walk if you prefer. Although it is slightly away from the center of Himeji, this allows for a quiet night's sleep. Additionally, there are places to eat and convenience stores nearby. If you are arriving by car, parking in this area is cheaper than around Himeji Station, with coin parking available for 600 yen within 24 hours. Motorcycles and bicycles can be parked for free on the guesthouse premises, but please let us know in advance to secure space. Opened as a newly built facility in June 2017, the guesthouse offers a clean and comfortable environment. The shared space is equipped with a toaster oven, microwave, kettle, and tableware, all of which you are free to use. Guests often enjoy sharing travel stories with each other or with the staff in the shared space. If you encounter any issues or have questions during your stay, please do not hesitate to ask. Additionally, the guest rooms are equipped with semi-double beds from Simmons for a comfortable rest. The owner personally bids on fresh local fish from Echizen Port to provide Echizen's exquisite cuisine.

TABI YADO Ranatn is a small Property located in Kurohime Kogen, Shinano Town, at the northern tip of Nagano Prefecture. With convenient access just 10 minutes from the Shinano-machi IC on the Joshinetsu Expressway, it serves as an ideal base for exploring Kurohime Kogen, Lake Nojiri, Togakushi, Madarao, Iizuna, Obuse, and Zenkoji Temple in Nagano City. A short 10-minute drive will also take you to Niigata Prefecture, making it convenient for trips to Myoko Kogen and Akakura Onsen. This small Property, run by a husband-and-wife team, has only six Rooms. While it does not offer the Facilities of a Hotel, it is loved for its European-style homemade cuisine, carefully prepared and served fresh, as well as its charming, café-like interior filled with greenery and decorative items. In addition, there is a separate cottage, "with DOG 207," which is exclusively available for one group per day and allows pets to stay. This has been well-received by guests. The spacious private dog run and the 44㎡ interior of the cottage provide a quiet, forest-like retreat, designed with the concept of "a relaxing holiday with your dog." This forest-surrounded pension is part of the world-renowned mountain resort "NAGANO." It is approximately 200 km from both Tokyo and Nagoya via the expressway. From Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line), it is a 2 km drive on paved roads within the villa area, and 5 km from the Kita-Yatsugatake Ropeway/Pilatus Tateshina Snow Resort. The road from Prefectural Route 192 (Venus Line) to the pension is fully paved, so we recommend arriving by car. We regret to inform you that Shuttle Service is not available. (Please ensure your vehicle is equipped with winter tires or tire chains during the period from December to March.) Situated on the slopes of Kita-Yatsugatake in the Tateshina Highlands, at an altitude of 1700m within the Pilatus Hill villa area, the maximum temperature rarely exceeds 20°C even in midsummer, with morning and evening temperatures ranging from 8°C to 12°C.As a general rule, we accommodate adults only, with a maximum capacity of 8 guests, which is one-third of our full capacity. We strive to create a space where you can enjoy leisurely conversations with your loved ones. Depending on the season, there may be lucky days when the Property is reserved exclusively for one group of two guests. (For stays with children, please consult with us in advance.)
