"Moving the heart, with ingenuity." Founded in 1879 as a kaiseki restaurant, this is a long-established Ryokan in Isawa Onsen. We use our own natural hot spring source that gushes forth from within the premises, known as "Bijin no Yu" (Beautiful Skin Water) for its excellent quality. Enjoy the blessings of the Onsen with the "Yakuseki-yoku Arashi no Yu," opened in 2020, and the spacious private baths "Oku no Yu" and "Manyo no Yu." Carrying on traditions since the Meiji era, we offer creative kaiseki cuisine that delights both the palate and the eyes, using seasonal ingredients. Hidden Retreat Shirakawa Gensen Sanso Takefue is set on an expansive 5,000-tsubo property, featuring only 12 private villas and a spa building, along with 30 natural hot spring baths flowing directly from our own sources. All guest rooms are designed in a modern Japanese style and include an irori (traditional sunken hearth), tatami room, and indoor bath. Eight of the villas also offer open-air baths over 5 meters in size, blending beautifully with the surrounding nature. Meals are served in the comfort of your room at the irori for both dinner and breakfast. Asahidake Onsen "Yumoto Yukomanso" is a Property located within Daisetsuzan National Park, where you can enjoy five natural hot spring sources and the great outdoors. Situated at Asahidake in the Daisetsuzan mountain range, Yukomanso is surrounded by majestic nature and beautiful alpine plants, beloved by many hikers. In spring, you can see budding plants amidst the lingering snow; in summer, vibrant alpine flowers in full bloom; in autumn, Japan's earliest autumn foliage; and in winter, the finest powder snow. The Onsen at Yukomanso has been continuously flowing since its discovery in 1914, providing over 300 liters of water per minute as its source. All five hot spring sources are natural free-flowing springs. Without any temperature adjustments, the spring water is directly channeled into the baths, allowing you to truly feel the blessings of nature. Water, air, Onsen...
