In October 2007, a new Property, "Shiratama no Yu Kaho Bekkan Koshinoyato," opened in Tsukioka Onsen, a place cherished as the "Onsen of Beauty." This Property offers all-suite accommodations, combining the functionality and privacy of a Hotel with the heartfelt hospitality of a traditional Japanese Ryokan, focusing on ultimate comfort. Guests can enjoy stunning views of the surrounding rice fields and distant mountains. Upon its opening, we have been dedicated to reviving the spirit of "Echigo no Sato" by creating a space that harmonizes with the local ecosystem. Later, the Onsen-ji Temple was established through the contributions of the Sengoku warlord Takeda Shingen. During the battles of Kawanakajima, Shibu Onsen served as a healing place for wounded soldiers. The first proprietor of Kokuya, Ichizaemon, originally ran a rice merchant business called Kokuya but later opened an inn for travelers. Since then, the Property has been cherished by guests, and the current proprietor is the 16th generation.
