In Oku-Nikko, there is a risk of snow and ice from mid-November, so if you are arriving by car, please equip studless tires or inquire about road conditions by phone. As it is located within a national park, snow removal is conducted perfectly 24 hours a day, so you should have no issues arriving as long as your car is equipped with studless tires.
