This was my first stay, and both the Hotel’s location and the surrounding area were great—I really felt I made the right choice choosing this Hotel (lol). The atmosphere of the Hotel was also amazing!

The bath and the Room are old, but they were kept very clean. This time we only had breakfast, and it was very delicious. Maybe the restaurant has been renovated? It was new, clean, bright, and very pleasant. Not only was the food great, but the staff were truly polite and attentive—I was really impressed. In particular, the senior veteran staff member was wonderful. I couldn’t thank them in person, but I hope this Review reaches them. I’d love to visit again!

The expansive Roku in Takagamine, Kitayama, Kyoto is wonderfully quiet. In the summer of 2026, we decided to stay for three nights with my son’s family. My granddaughter loves the pool. What I was curious about was dinner. Since this spring, the chef and menu have changed. We left it to the chef, and truly enjoyed the rich flavors that come from thickness and texture—scallops, duck, sirloin, striped jack, pork confit, and more. The Kyoto vegetable sides were simple yet bold. We ordered signature cocktails. I chose “La Vie en Rose” just by its name—wondering what it would be like—and it surprised me in the best way. The other three of us each picked different ones as well, and we had a great time enjoying their vibrant colors and flavors. It will probably become one of our most unforgettable dinner memories of 2026. In the thermal pool, my grandchild happened to make a friend, and their dads joined in too—playing along like turtles giving rides to two kids with lots of enthusiasm. As for me, I exercised with backstroke while looking up at the sky and did some water walking. By the way, did you know that from the bath in your Room you can enjoy both the TV and views of Takagamine’s trees at the same time? The TV in the photo was showing a Major League Baseball game.

The breakfast buffet was a big hit with my family! The bath was also wonderful. On our way home, I realized at Gamagori Station that I had left my wallet on a sofa on the first-floor lobby of the Hotel, and I panicked and called. A kind guest turned it in to the front desk, and a staff member even brought it to the station. I’m truly sorry for the trouble, but your kindness saved our trip. We will definitely stay again next time. Thank you very much.

I was assigned to the ladies-only floor, and since it was on the second floor, it was convenient to go outside. I would like to stay here again if I visit Tachikawa in the future.

The front desk staff were very pleasant and made me feel at ease. It is close to Sapporo Station, and there is also a convenience store nearby. For breakfast, you receive a Doutor Coffee service voucher, which is a great value. The Room was a single, but it was spacious enough and I had a comfortable stay. I would like to stay here again.

This is a long-established Hotel located at the foot of Kunibiki Bridge near the station. I ended up staying for three nights, and the interior had been renovated, so it was comfortable. The self-serve style of picking up necessary amenities from the front desk is common these days, but they also had small snacks here, which was a nice touch. There was a good selection of welcome drinks, and breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of side dishes.

Conveniently located very close to the subway station, making for a comfortable stay. Breakfast was also varied and delicious. The guest room was kept very clean. Some hotels often have a distinctive lingering odor, but this Hotel had none at all and felt exceptionally fresh and spotless. I was able to sleep comfortably as well. Another pleasant surprise was that the pajamas included pants. Most places provide only a top in a yukata style, but this Hotel’s service was attentive even in that regard. I would like to stay here again when I travel to Tokyo on business.

Third visit I accidentally made a Reservation for the Japanese restaurant, but they kindly accommodated my last-minute change. When I mentioned during the Reservation that it was my daughter’s birthday, they surprised us at dinner with a beautiful bouquet and a special dessert plate. We were truly satisfied with their warm hospitality. Above all, we enjoyed what felt like a private beach far from any crowds, along with the infinity pool and sauna. Surrounded by crystal-clear sea and sky, we had an unforgettable time. The food was delicious as well! We’ll be back again.

I stayed here to celebrate a friend’s birthday. It was stylish and spotless, and all the staff were very friendly, so I felt comfortable throughout my stay. The amenities were well stocked, so I could stay without bringing anything. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety. The only thing I wished for was tomato juice. I also enjoyed watching planes take off and land from the rooftop terrace. I think the sky and Mt. Fuji would be even clearer from autumn through winter. It’s close to the station, so it’s a great option for early morning flights or late arrivals as well. Having a convenience store right nearby was also very handy. This is a Hotel I’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

It was a wonderful Hotel. The staff’s hospitality was outstanding, and the location was very convenient. Afternoon tea and the evening cocktail hour were excellent, including light snacks. With direct access to department stores and restaurants, and more shopping Facilities just a short walk away, it’s perfect for picking up a few things and then relaxing in your Room at your own pace. No matter when you stay, you’ll have an amazing time—this is a place you’ll want to return to again and again.

We thoroughly enjoyed both the dinner and breakfast buffets. At dinner, the Shimane Wagyu roast beef and sweet shrimp were especially delicious. For breakfast, in addition to making our own seafood bowl, we also loved the Shimane Wagyu beef stew, which was hearty with plenty of meat. The garden was beautiful, and all the staff were kind and helpful. Thank you very much.

My mother and I stayed for one night in August 2026. After we arrived, we were shown to the larger Room. We truly appreciated this unexpected kindness. The garden was beautifully maintained, and we thoroughly enjoyed a relaxing time there. Every dish was delicious, and the portions were just right—not too much. The cuisine was classic and seasonal. After the bath, we went to the lounge, where there was a wonderful selection of art books and magazines, and the complimentary drinks were excellent. The mountain views and garden from there were so beautiful that they made us forget our everyday fatigue. The service felt just right—neither too close nor too distant. Since it was drizzling the next day, we were also grateful for the service of being driven to the Hakone Open-Air Museum. One suggestion: it would be even better if the labels for the shampoo and conditioner in the bath area were easier to understand (other older guests also seemed confused). This year, my wife invited me, and we stayed here for a birthday trip for our son and me. Compared to a year ago, there were more international staff members, and we could really feel how hard everyone was working. This year again we chose the [Premium] Chef’s Selection featuring spiny lobster, abalone, and Matsusaka beef. The sashimi was exceptionally fresh and delicious—we were very satisfied—and the other dishes were also creative and tasty. The Room was a Shiracho-kan Japanese-Western style room; it was easy to use, well cleaned, and very comfortable. The Onsen temperature suited my preference perfectly, and since it was Friday there seemed to be fewer guests, so I could enjoy it almost all to myself, which felt wonderful. We are satisfied every year, but this time two things stood out: the Matsusaka beef shabu-shabu didn’t have the same impressive flavor as usual, and the toilet (washlet) in the Room felt quite old and wasn’t functioning fully. We would like to stay with you again in the coming years as well—thank you in advance. Thank you very much.

I chose this Hotel because it offers excellent access within walking distance to the Shinkansen, Hankyu Railway, and the Midosuji subway line. The cleaning was thorough, and both the building and the Room were spotless. There are three elevators, so there was no waiting time. It perfectly matched my criteria when choosing a Hotel. I would like to stay here again when I visit Osaka.

My spouse and I stayed from Sunday to Monday. The front desk staff were pleasant, and while the baths are not brand-new, we were very satisfied with the sauna and walking pool. I also joined a löyly event in the sauna for the first time. We chose the dinner buffet, which offered a good variety of dishes, all tasty, and my wife especially enjoyed the desserts. The parking fee was reasonable, and on Monday we were able to leave our car parked while we took a walk around the nearby Heijō Palace Site. We would love to stay again if we have the chance.
