We had to change our travel Plan due to our own circumstances, and we truly appreciate your courteous and prompt assistance. This time, we chose Kikunoya because we wanted to take our time sightseeing in Miyajima. Its convenient location near Itsukushima Shrine and Daisho-in allowed us to enjoy the area with the Hotel as our base. Not only at the front desk but also during the Shuttle Service ride, we were able to hear stories and helpful local tips about Miyajima, which made our visits even more enjoyable. Our family stayed for one night. The Room was very spacious and comfortable. Dinner showed great attention to detail, and the wonderful dishes truly brought out the natural flavors of the ingredients. Both the fish and meat were grilled fresh on the spot, so everything was absolutely delicious. The breakfast delivered to our Room also highlighted the ingredients just like dinner, and it was outstanding in both presentation and taste. Above all, every staff member was kind and welcoming, and we had a truly wonderful time. Thank you very much.

We stayed in a suite. We were very satisfied with the size of the Room and the terrace, and the peaceful rural view was truly soothing. We could also see the stars clearly at night. We enjoyed the welcome drink and sweets, which raised our expectations for dinner—and they did not disappoint. The course meal served in our Room was wonderful, with the staff kindly explaining each dish, and even the chef came to greet us in person. Everything looked beautiful, but it tasted exactly as amazing as we hoped—perhaps even better. I ate each dish in genuine amazement. It made me wish we could casually enjoy this cuisine nearby whenever we wanted. As for dessert at dinner, we were surprised by both the canelé and the chocolate—the canelé for its delicious flavor, and the chocolate for its unique texture! It’s not hard; there’s something special inside. I truly hope you’ll try it. Breakfast was very filling. The egg dish was so luxurious that I couldn’t help blurting out “Wow!” I felt happy thinking, “I ate so many vegetables!” The bread was homemade and delicious, and they kindly wrapped up what we couldn’t finish to take with us. With meals like this included, we looked at each other as a family and said how unbelievably affordable this Accommodation Fee felt. We were also happy to purchase a lovely wood plate as a souvenir—it made for a wonderful stay overall. Thanks to the warm hospitality of all the staff, it became a trip where we lost track of time, and meeting the chef’s kind personality as well made us deeply grateful for such delicious food and such special moments. I stayed for two nights with my daughter with breakfast included. First of all, the Hotel was clean, and the staff had a great, welcoming atmosphere. The drink bar, one complimentary alcoholic welcome drink, and the fun service of making and eating takoyaki ochazuke yourself were also a nice touch. From the Room, Tsutenkaku looked absolutely beautiful, but the Room felt smaller than I expected—you can’t really open two suitcases. The shower water pressure was strong, and it was easy to adjust the temperature. Amenities: towels are exchanged upon request, and you can take as many loungewear sets and toothbrushes as you need from the lobby. There was also a hair iron in the Room, which was very helpful for women. It was also great to have a coin laundry on the first floor. Everything at the breakfast buffet was delicious; I just wish there had been kushikatsu on the second day’s menu. It was also very helpful that they could store our luggage both before check-in and after check-out. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Osaka.

I stayed here a few years ago and was very satisfied with the comfort and convenient location, so I chose to stay again for this trip to Kyoto. Just like last time, the staff’s hospitality, the spacious Room, and the cleanliness were all excellent. I would love to stay here again on my next visit to Kyoto. We originally planned to stay at a mountain hut for a hike, but the weather turned bad, so we changed plans at the last minute to sightseeing in Kanazawa and made a Reservation at this Hotel. When we arrived at the parking lot, the building exterior looked old and I was a little worried, but once we went to the lobby and then up to our Room, I was glad we chose this place. Everyone in the lobby was kind, pleasant, and very helpful. The lobby interior was wonderful, and our Room had been beautifully renovated—making our stay truly comfortable. With Kanazawa Castle right next door, it’s also very convenient for sightseeing. Next time we visit Kanazawa, I’d like to stay here again.

I first stayed here when I visited Kyoto for my son’s wedding, and the staff’s attentive service made my stay very comfortable. Since then, I have stayed here every time I come to Kyoto. The Facility is clean, and I was able to relax again this time as well. I would like to stay here again.

This was my first return in about a year. I stayed for two nights and three days, and it was still a great Hotel. The staff’s service was excellent as well. In particular, I was impressed by the attentiveness of the restaurant staff at breakfast. They worked efficiently, replenishing dishes and clearing used plates promptly. Because they were constantly checking the food, there was no concern—common at other Hotels—that fewer items would be available if you went later. This is a Hotel I would like to stay at again.

As our Room was in a separate building, we were able to relax in a quiet space. The open-air bath was also wonderful—I enjoyed it so much that I went in several times. The meals were delicious, and we especially appreciated the spacious dining area where we could take our time without worrying about others. We also received a gift for our wedding anniversary, and the thoughtful hospitality truly warmed our hearts.

As it was my first stay, you kindly picked me up at Tokyo Station and showed me to a beautifully clean, nicely chilled Room as much as three hours early. Every member of staff welcomed me with such warm smiles that, even in a luxurious space far from everyday life, I was able to spend a wonderfully comfortable day as if I were in my own Room. Breakfast was truly delicious, and on top of that, the delightful conversation with the cute female staff member who spoke languages fluently, along with the thoughtful attentiveness of the male staff member—never intrusive yet always considerate—made me linger longer than planned. I’ll work hard and will definitely stay again!

We celebrated his birthday here. We chose this Accommodation to celebrate as the last couple before we become husband and wife when we visit Shimabara again next year. We were truly impressed by the staff’s thoughtful hospitality, and the locally sourced cuisine was absolutely delicious. The in-Room sauna and bath were both excellent. Everything was perfect.

The staff were excellent, and since I had some time before check-in, I waited in the lobby and they kindly offered an early check-in. Their explanations were clear and very helpful. It was also very convenient to be able to check the coin laundry availability on the Room TV.

You’ll head toward the mountains on a narrow road that might make you wonder if there’s really a Ryokan up ahead. When we finally arrived, it felt like a hidden Accommodation—so exciting! The building was spotless and well maintained, and the staff were friendly, making it truly relaxing. The Onsen had a sulfur scent, and the meals—centered around fish—were delicious down to the pickles. I couldn’t stop going back for more rice! We made our next Reservation as soon as we arrived—it was that wonderful!

The wood-fired sauna and the jacuzzi with an ocean view were amazing! The view from the Room was great, and there was karaoke too—our kids were thrilled. We really enjoyed the dinner course, packed with delicious local ingredients. The freshly baked bread was so good we went back for seconds again and again. The staff were friendly and kind to our children, which we really appreciated. The picnic basket breakfast had more food than expected, and we were very satisfied.

I’ve stayed here several times. There are so many great points: it’s close to downtown, parking is free, there’s an Onsen, breakfast is inexpensive and delicious, and the staff are kind. If you’re going to Takayama, this is the place to stay.

This is the oldest hot spring in the San’in region, and it’s also a natural free-flowing Onsen—an absolute must for an Onsen enthusiast like me (laugh). The building does feel old because of its long history, but that’s part of its charm, and I hope it will continue for many years to come. The meals were a bit too much for me as an older guest; I would have preferred smaller portions with higher quality. The staff were wonderful. Thank you very much.
