We’re repeat guests for the cats, delicious food, and the cozy comfort of having everything you need right in the Room. This time my husband came with us too. The kids were thrilled with the maisonette and the open-air bath. We also love the skincare amenities such as lotion—they’re from a brand we like. We were so happy to finally spend time with the cats again. Since this was our first summer stay, we were told, “You might find stag beetles on the balcony,” and there were so many (surprisingly)! We took some home and are taking good care of them. Thank you for all your thoughtful consideration. Dinner was served at perfect timing—hot dishes hot and cold dishes cold—and my husband really enjoyed how delicious everything was. For breakfast we chose Japanese this time; the clay-pot rice selected by a rice meister was outstanding. Our child asked for seconds again and again. Everything was perfect except that the children’s pajamas we borrowed felt smaller than expected for their size. Thank you as always for your warm welcome—it made for an amazing start to our summer vacation. We’d love to come back again.

Thank you very much for such a wonderful stay. At check-in, the front desk staff kindly and thoroughly explained the in-house Facilities and services, which allowed us to start our stay with complete peace of mind. My wife has a shellfish allergy, and we are truly grateful that the restaurant’s head chef thoughtfully adjusted the menu for us. In particular, dinner on the second night was even more outstanding than the first, and we were deeply moved by the extra care put into each dish. While we were taking photos inside the property, a seasoned and very kind staff member noticed us and spoke to us. They gladly took photos for us, thanks to which we were able to keep wonderful memories of our trip. We are foreigners and can hardly speak Japanese. Even so, throughout our stay we received warm, attentive service that made us forget any language barrier. This stay reminded me once again of what I felt when I first visited a Japanese Ryokan years ago: uniquely Japanese hospitality that truly cherishes travelers and makes them feel as safe and comfortable as if they were at home. It is truly an excellent Ryokan. We sincerely appreciate the heartfelt hospitality of all the staff. We would definitely love to visit again. Thank you again for such a wonderful time.

Due to a change of plans, I made a Reservation the day before. It was a rainy day and I arrived early, but I was able to choose a book from the many available and enjoy reading at a relaxed pace with a cup of coffee in hand. The spacious bath, especially the bubble bath, was very soothing. The meals were so plentiful that I couldn’t finish everything. The sunrise the next morning was beautiful. There were also goats and rabbits, and if it were closer, it’s a place where I’d love to bring my dog for a Multiple Night Stay.

Since we live nearby, we enjoy staying here as a couple whenever our schedule allows. My husband is especially happy because the Room has an Onsen bath. The meals are just the right amount for us, and we also enjoyed the chicken rice. I personally prefer the large public bath because I want to soak in a bigger Onsen.

The Facility and service were excellent, and it’s a place where I’d like to stay one more night or visit again. This is a recommended Accommodation. Unfortunately, there were two issues: 1. The shower in Room 106 had almost no water pressure, so I couldn’t wash my hair. I went somewhere else in the middle of the night to wash my hair. I would like enough water pressure in the Room shower to be able to wash my hair. 2. There was no lobby with staff on site at the Accommodation; if anything happened, I was told to scan a QR code and talk via smartphone. However, I could not access the system from my phone no matter how many times I tried. Even though I went there to relax, I had to struggle for a long time with setting up a smartphone system that didn’t work. Please place a telephone in the Room.

The hospitality and the restaurant cuisine were outstanding in every respect. Their attentive, courteous communication before our stay left a strong impression, and on the day of our visit, everyone—from the seasoned staff to the younger team members—provided genuinely pleasant service. If you want a reliably excellent experience in Karuizawa, HIRAMATSU is without doubt the place to choose.

The meals were absolutely delicious. They had a strong local character, and the beautifully presented dishes made the most of the ingredients—we were very satisfied. The open-air bath in the Room was spacious with wonderful water, and the Room was clean and relaxing. Since we stayed on a day with bad weather and couldn’t see a sky full of stars, this is an Accommodation we would definitely like to visit again.

We stayed in Building D, which is pet-friendly. Everything was spotless and very comfortable. There’s honestly nothing to criticize, so here are a few tips to help you enjoy your stay even more. Jacuzzi / Open-air bath / Pool: 　Bringing a swimsuit is recommended. Stink bugs (currently a large outbreak): 　It’s helpful to bring sticky tape for removal. Bakery: 　There’s a great bakery nearby. Amenities: 　High-quality POLA amenities are provided, so you only need to bring the basics. To fully enjoy it: 　You’ll probably want to stay two nights. Appliances: 　Most appliances are available, but there doesn’t seem to be an air fryer (probably). Shirarahama Beach: 　It’s just under 2 km away—slightly far. Dogs aren’t allowed on Shirarahama Beach, which is disappointing, but the beauty of the beach is amazing.

The food was delicious and made us feel so content, and since my husband’s birthday was coming up, you even celebrated it for us! We were deeply moved by your thoughtfulness. It became a truly wonderful memory. Thank you again! The spacious and spotless private family bath was amazing, and the Onsen water quality was excellent—simply the best! Despite being reasonably priced, the Facility, Onsen, and meals were all excellent. They also offer Shuttle Service to Shin-Hakodate-Hokuto Station and Onuma-Koen Station, so we were able to enjoy our stay even without a car. The Hotel is also barrier-free, and we saw several guests using wheelchairs, making it a place that guests of all ages can enjoy.

I came here to relax. I love camping too, but I really wanted to unwind, and I’d been wanting to visit because it seemed like I could enjoy both—so we stayed in Snow Peak’s JYUBAKO. It was so wonderful that I want to make it a must-do once a year. My husband was very satisfied as well, and we definitely want to come back. Dinner was great, of course, and breakfast was also delicious—we were full and completely satisfied. Thank you for a wonderful time.

This was an Accommodation I had been interested in for some time. The hot water was pleasantly warm, so I could soak and relax at length. The meals were excellent, and I also ordered grilled sesame tofu as an extra. It was exquisite. Overall, the service was very good, and I would like to visit again.

Koshika Onsen is wonderfully relaxing with its free-flowing natural hot spring water, and the aroma at the front desk is also lovely. This was my second stay, and I’m truly very satisfied! I was told the aroma is from Tomisako Shoten, so I even placed a personal order. The Room has its own Onsen, so I could enjoy it at night and in the morning and feel refreshed. The Facility is also kept very clean!

Last time, we stayed in January of last year. Even in the freezing cold, having a BBQ while sitting under the kotatsu on the balcony was so much fun. This time, we returned at the end of summer with our senior dog. It was the best season, and we fully enjoyed the black-water Onsen both indoors and in the large public bath. The staff’s greetings as we passed by, their willingness to help when we needed it, and the front desk team’s smiles and efficient guidance were even more pleasant than before. The thorough cleanliness may also be thanks to considerate guests… Wherever you go, you can truly feel how comfortable it is. This Accommodation keeps evolving for the better every day, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit.

I love this Accommodation so much that I stay almost every month. This month, I stayed as a birthday treat for myself. I am always impressed by the wonderful hospitality from the front desk and dining staff. Thank you for celebrating my birthday and for the message card and celebratory plate! All the staff were incredibly cheerful, which made for a very pleasant stay. The building feels a bit old, but it seems to be well maintained and thoroughly cleaned. The baths are also clean. While I was using the large public bath, a staff member came by to check on things and even cleaned up what looked like fallen leaves. I stayed two nights with breakfast and dinner included, and there was such a wide variety of dishes that I never got bored—everything was delicious and very filling.

First of all, the meals were outstanding. I’ve had enohara fish before, but this was the most delicious I’ve ever tasted! They paid close attention to how we were doing during the meal, and the timing of each next dish was perfect. Everyone on the staff greeted us with smiles throughout our stay, which made us feel very comfortable. Thank you very much. We’d love to visit again in a different season.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn’t great, but the staff and service were excellent, and we had a very comfortable stay. This is a Hotel where even families with small children can stay with peace of mind. The bed setup, children’s amenities, a kids’ play area in the main building, and the bath facilities—including child-sized chairs plus body soap and shampoo—were all very well equipped. They also offer rental swim diapers so babies can enjoy their first Onsen experience. Traveling with small children usually means lots of luggage, but everything was so well provided that we honestly didn’t need to bring as much—an unexpectedly pleasant surprise. We’ll be back again next year! Thank you very much.

We stayed for one night with my daughter’s family, our grandchildren, and our Chihuahua. The Room was clean and spacious, and the kids and our Chihuahua were running around happily!! We were very satisfied to enjoy a BBQ on the covered terrace without worrying about the weather. Breakfast arrived warm in the delivery box, so we could eat right away—and it was delicious! The bathroom was also spacious, and we all enjoyed it together. Unfortunately, it rained so we couldn’t use the dog run, but we’d love to come back and try again! We’ll definitely stay again as a family.

After our trip to Furano, we found this Hotel while looking for a place to stay on the way home. Because it’s in the mountains, we were a bit worried about the drive, but it wasn’t far from downtown Ashibetsu, so we arrived without any trouble. We expected an older Facility, but once inside it felt completely modern. Everything was spotless, and there were lots of features younger guests would enjoy. Detox water stations from various brands, a space filled with books, areas to relax and chat, a guest-only lounge, wall art, and exhibits about Yutani Onsen and local coal mine history—there was always something interesting to see. The owl artwork on the wall was especially cute; if there had been any related goods for sale, I would have bought them. After getting out of the bath area, I was disappointed that one spot had that owl covered by a notice—I really wanted to see it. Our Room had a classic Japanese style but was very clean. The tatami mats were fresh and green-blue and felt great. It seemed that the open-air bath and the pot bath used Onsen water. Unfortunately it rained at night, but soaking in the Onsen under cover while listening to the rain was truly relaxing. I feel like I’ve made a connection with Ashibetsu as well—I genuinely want to visit again. I’d definitely recommend this Accommodation to friends and acquaintances.
