I have stayed at many Ryokans and Hotels, but this was such a wonderful Ryokan that I wanted to write a Review for the first time. The Shuttle Service staff, front desk staff, dining service staff, and kitchen staff were all courteous, kind, and attentive. The property was also impeccably clean, so I felt comfortable and at ease throughout my stay. I would love to stay here again.

We stayed here while sightseeing in Shirahama, including a visit to Adventure World. The staff were very welcoming, and the breakfast bread was pleasantly chewy and delicious, so we would love to stay again.

I had heard the building was old, but I was very satisfied with the convenient location and the staff’s thoughtful hospitality. I would like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

I stayed here to attend an event at Kyocera Dome. It’s just one train stop away, and if you want to avoid the crowds on the way back, it took about 15 minutes to walk there. The location was very convenient. The staff were also very friendly. The toilet and bath area was small, but since I was alone in a single room, it didn’t bother me. I’d like to stay here again when I visit Kyocera Dome.

It was nice to see that Japanese-style dishes were included in the breakfast, which used to be only Western-style. Also, there was a large sign indicating non-alcoholic wine, but it turned out to be real wine with alcohol. I drank it by mistake as they were placed in the same area, so I will be more careful.

The Facility is old, but it was clean. We were very satisfied with the meals, and the all-you-can-drink alcohol option was great.

This was my second stay. I’ve stayed at several other Accommodations in Ureshino Onsen, but Irifuneso’s Onsen is still the best. The consistently silky, smooth feel is exactly what you expect from Ureshino, and I was very satisfied. I also enjoyed the coffee and pudding next to the front desk. The Onsen yudofu at breakfast was delicious, and the staff member who served us was very pleasant. This time I stayed in a renovated Room with beds, and it was clean and nice, but I was a little disappointed by the noise when opening and closing the toilet door and that there wasn’t an exhaust fan. Next time, I hope to visit with my grandchild who loves Onsen yudofu. Thank you for taking care of us.

Check-in and the staff’s response over the phone were kind and helpful. The Room felt clean and looked nice, but it was disappointing to find mold in the bathroom. Also, there were not many amenity options, so overall it felt less satisfying than expected for the price.

The large public bath next door has several options—mist sauna, carbonated radon, bubbling baths, and more—so I was very satisfied. The water quality suited me as well. The massage chairs are 300 yen for 15 minutes; they seem to be good machines, and I really enjoyed them. However… it seems one of the large public baths is currently under repair, so men and women can only use it on alternating days. On women’s days, men can only use the indoor bath in the accommodation building (just a tub about 10 meters long). And vice versa. If you’re staying overnight, you can use the large public bath on your way there or back. But if you go all the way there and end up with only the indoor bath… that would be a big disappointment. I don’t think the website mentioned any repairs… Even though they do rounds with free drinks, that service is also out of order. It makes me wonder if they’ve stopped it to cut costs… That said, I was extremely satisfied. There’s nothing around except Taizanji Temple. The Room key is old and hard to turn. Locally grown vegetables sell out quickly. There are enough staff members, and their service is good. I found myself wondering how they manage to run the place… But that’s fine. Probably because I was happy with the large public bath, the massage chairs, and the karaoke room. Breakfast doesn’t have many items, but it’s enough for me. The indoor bath felt like having a private reservation. If you think of it as a therapeutic hot-spring stay, it has everything you need. For me, it was worth going out of my way. As for maintenance issues—please check properly before you go. If things don’t work out as expected, you might end up seriously upset. Still, spending a whole day doing nothing—I had a great time.

It is easy to find from the station exit in 0 minutes, and I am personally satisfied. Since it was a single stay, the small size of the room is understandable. The free coffee service was appreciated. The breakfast was also satisfactory. Having a convenience store next door was helpful.

I enjoyed staying at the b Hotel on my previous trip to Kobe, so I chose it again in Hakata.\n\nIt was close to Hakata Station, making it convenient for dining out and shopping. I had an early flight the next morning, so the easy access to the airport was a big help. It was also nice to have coffee along with canelés and macarons as a snack right after arrival. Most Hotels provide a hair dryer, but I was especially happy that there was also a hair iron available.

Everything was perfect: a luxurious private space well worth the price, and attentive service with thoughtful care from the butler. I’ve stayed at several Shigira properties, but The Shigira was the best overall. That said, I have two suggestions: 1) If staying multiple nights, I’d like the in-room breakfast menu to change. 2) Since going to the beach is a given, I’d like a washing machine installed. That’s all. I plan to Reserve again next year, so I’d appreciate it if these points could be improved.

Rather than spending the trip staying inside a Hotel or Ryokan, I was able to fulfill every wish: enjoying delicious food in the great outdoors, taking in the mountains and starry skies, soaking in the Onsen, and truly refreshing both body and mind. The entire Facility was impeccably clean and comfortable, and above all, I was delighted by the staff’s warm hospitality. Many of them are young, but it was clear through every interaction how well trained and knowledgeable they are. Their thoughtful attention to detail made the stay enjoyable from start to finish—I’m so glad we came. With the wine pairing at dinner, we were able to enjoy a variety of wines, and the kinki (rockfish) acqua pazza was especially outstanding. The Shuttle Service from Nagano Station also made getting there worry-free, resulting in two very satisfying days. Thank you very much. I feel the Accommodation rate is well worth it. Next time, I’d love to visit with my son as well.

The Hotel’s service was attentive down to the smallest details and truly wonderful. In the lounge, they asked about my child’s juice preference and kindly made a special peach juice for us, which really impressed me. The building is stylish, and there were also Yayoi Kusama prints that I was glad to see up close. I’d love to stay again.

Although it was an east-facing Room, the view was wonderful, with a full panorama of the city center. I would definitely like to stay again.

The building, Room interiors, and furnishings are all exceptional. It was an unparalleled experience to touch and admire artistic plates and pitchers while enjoying a drink, as if viewing them through glass. The price is indeed in the high range, but it was absolutely worth it. The cuisine was also outstanding. The staff's deep knowledge of art and philosophy was truly inspiring and educational. Although I just returned, I already feel like visiting again. The Facility, including its location, is excellent. Highly recommended for those who love folk crafts. Thank you very much!

We stayed here as a couple while returning to my hometown. We had been looking forward to it, as the Accommodation is a beautifully restored historic building, including a Tottori Prefecture–designated protected cultural property, and our stay exceeded all expectations. The entire property was spotless and thoughtfully designed with a calm atmosphere; from the moment we stepped inside, it felt like a soothing, relaxing space. The Room was spacious, and we were able to truly unwind together and recover from everyday fatigue. We had seen photos beforehand, but the Room was even more impressive in person—a luxurious storehouse-style space with a maisonette layout and substantial exposed beams. It made me think, “So this is what it means to have architectural beauty all to yourself.” I also enjoy modern Hotels, but there was something deeply comforting about being in a space that preserves the timeless aesthetics of traditional Japan. The Facilities and bedding were modern and comfortable, and we both slept soundly. The meals were beautiful to look at as well—gentle flavors that let you feel the rich nature of Tottori and Kurayoshi—and I was genuinely surprised to find such wonderful dining at a Hotel in Kurayoshi. We would love to stop by again as a couple on our next trip home.
