The philosophy of ist is "Being with Nature." At its core, we believe that nature is not something separate or distant from humans, but something inherently close and ever-present. Recognizing oneself as part of nature, cherishing it, and discovering the comfort it brings—this is the essence of ist. ist – Sado is surrounded by the overwhelming beauty of nature, featuring a unique landscape shaped by the coastline and mountains, towering trees, star-filled night skies, and the expansive Sea of Japan stretching out from the cape, with lush green mountains at its back. We have newly constructed three compact houses called "Hut" and a "Lounge" where guests can relax while enjoying coffee or beer. All of these were designed to allow visitors to deeply connect with the surrounding nature. By quietly listening and carefully observing, one can truly sense the presence of the many living creatures and plants around.

After checking in, enjoy a chilled draft beer while watching your dog run on the lawn from the wooden deck. The private bath features natural Onsen with free-flowing hot spring water. After a relaxing soak, unwind in a tatami Room. Pets are cherished family members. Feel free to stay together anywhere (except the kitchen! Bathrooms are allowed up to the dressing area). For dinner, savor our Property's specialty dishes! Enjoy a boat platter of local fish and Italian cuisine. In the morning, we offer freshly baked handmade bread, freshly brewed coffee, and organic herbal tea from the Nikomamechi Garden.

Our facility is a membership-based villa resort. On select dates, non-members are also welcome to stay. With a limited number of rooms, it is possible to rent out the entire facility for private use. A fully equipped communal kitchen is also available free of charge. You can purchase groceries and seasonings at a nearby supermarket, making it ideal for family gatherings or large group activities with high flexibility in your stay. Additionally, we are located just 40 minutes by car from Ise Jingu Shrine and 15 minutes by car from Shima Mediterranean Village and Shima Spain Village—perfect for sightseeing!
