The location is excellent, close to Yubatake. The Facility is new, the Room was comfortable, and the in-room Onsen was wonderful. Having to take off shoes to get to the Room was a bit inconvenient, but I assume this is part of the Facility’s concept, so it’s understandable. The only area for improvement was that the towels were not very absorbent, but it wasn’t a big issue. I would stay here again if I have the opportunity.

We stayed in the Special Room Wakutake. There were four of us: my 4-year-old son, my parents, and me. The Room isn’t new, but it’s spacious and comfortable. The food was delicious as well—satisfying in both quality and quantity. The special kids’ menu was also well prepared. There are several types of baths, which was great, and our child never got bored.

The staff’s warm hospitality made us feel truly cared for, and we were able to forget about everyday life and relax in the Onsen. We also enjoyed the course dinner. We’d love to visit again.

It was a truly wonderful stay. The meals were delicious, and the freshly cooked rice was especially outstanding. The tea shabu-shabu was also excellent. The Room had a great atmosphere, and the premium lounge was lovely as well, so we were able to relax and unwind. This is an Accommodation I would love to return to again and again.

The Room, baths, and meals were all wonderful. Both the in-room bath and the private Kashinoki-no-Yu Onsen were excellent. When I mentioned that the handle on the bath basket had come off, they responded immediately. As for the food, when I told them I have gout and can’t eat pork, they adjusted part of the meal. Every dish was delicious, and you could really tell how carefully everything was prepared. The soba was also great. All of the staff we spoke with in various situations were very pleasant, and it truly became a memorable trip. The view from the Room was amazing as well. There was a light mist over the mountains, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery. It rained at night, but that actually made it even more relaxing with the sound of rain—I didn’t feel disappointed at all even though it rained. The American who traveled with me was impressed by everything and happily said they will definitely come again! I rarely write a Review no matter how much I travel, but Tsuruya was truly outstanding. If you’re considering a trip to Gunma, this is an Accommodation I would highly recommend—so I decided to write this Review. Next time, I’d love to enjoy the winter scenery along with the Onsen and meals. We will definitely visit again! Thank you very much.

This was my first stay, and I was completely satisfied with the Accommodation. The meals, Onsen, and service were all excellent. Although the price is a bit high, it was well worth it. I was also able to relax and unwind in the open-air bath, which was almost like having it to myself.

From the photos, I initially thought we would have to climb stairs to enter, but the building is designed so you can take an elevator down to the basement, which made our stay with my elderly mother easy and comfortable. The design is outstanding, and after entering you first arrive at the basement front desk and lounge—an exciting start that really builds anticipation. The Room was bright and open, with a very spacious bathroom; the sink area is separate and close to the bedroom, making it extremely convenient and comfortable overall. This is a Hotel I definitely want to return to.

I stayed here because the Accommodation highlighted that you can see the Seven Stars in Kyushu from the Room. It really was a Room with a great view, and I was able to photograph the Seven Stars in Kyushu with Mt. Yufu in the background. You can also see Mt. Yufu from the Onsen in the Room. The medicinal rice porridge at breakfast was especially delicious!

Since it was self check-in, I didn’t have high expectations, but it was a Facility where I could relax comfortably, including the Room, Onsen, and relaxation room. The Onsen quality was excellent; although it was set up so you could visit other Onsens as well, there was no need. There are no meals provided, but just before heading up the mountain there is “Gutto Yamagata,” which offers a great selection of Yamagata food and everything from meals to alcohol. I would like to stay here again when I visit Yamagata.

I stayed for one night on 6/17. The Hotel is close to the station and easy to find, with izakayas, cafes, convenience stores, and drugstores nearby. The welcome drink right after arrival and the all-you-can-drink alcohol service were absolutely amazing! All the staff were very kind and polite, which made my stay truly pleasant. A passcode is required to enter the large public bath, and you receive a paper with it at check-in. I realized I had forgotten mine just before the entrance, and when I headed back toward the elevator, a staff member said, “Did you forget your paper? I’ll give it to you now.” I was so impressed by how attentive they were. Thank you so much! The Room was small due to the location, and the sink area was also compact, but that was about the only thing that stood out—overall it was a great Hotel. I’m glad my mother and I chose to stay here for our trip. If we have another chance, we’d love to stay again! *At check-in, we were assisted by someone on their first day who was giving their first explanation. We stayed here with three generations—my daughter and her husband, our grandchild, and my mother. The private bath was spacious, and the Onsen was wonderful! The dining area was also a private room, and the staff who served us were very kind, so we had a great time. Unfortunately, the weather was bad and it was cold, so we couldn’t use the pool. It was our first time at an Accommodation where the Room, meals, and large public bath were all on the first floor, making it easy to get around with minimal walking. I think it’s an elderly-friendly Accommodation! If we have another chance, this is a Hotel we’d love to stay at again. Thank you very much.

The two of us stayed in a villa-type room. Because there were few guests, it felt very private, and we were able to enjoy a quiet stay. The private beach was well equipped with parasols and beach beds, and we saw lots of fish while snorkeling. We also used the sauna, and with the pool right in front of us, we were extremely satisfied!

I stayed here for one night on a trip to Kyoto. I often stay in Kyoto and Nara, and this place has the unique comfort of a compact hotel. It feels very cozy, the Facilities are well equipped, and overall satisfaction is high. Although the hours are limited, it’s wonderful that there are complimentary drinks. Having local Kyoto sake is a service that makes travelers very happy. I was delighted to find the same sake I had at Kyoto Station on my way back. It might be nice if it were available for purchase as well. The front desk staff were kind—I enjoyed talking about sake with them—and they replenished breakfast at just the right times, so I had a very comfortable stay. Kyoto summers are hot, so I’d like to visit again after peak season. Thank you very much.

I stayed here with my elderly mother. We used a universal Room, and it was very easy for her to use, so she seemed to enjoy staying overnight for the first time in a while. It was our first time using a universal Room, but we would be happy to stay again if we can book this Room. Thank you very much for your thoughtful support.

This was our third stay on the lounge floor. Everyone—front desk staff, floor staff, bell staff, and lounge staff—was full of hospitality and treated us with great care, so we were able to enjoy another comfortable and pleasant stay. When we visited the lounge at tea time, they remembered the name of our five-year-old daughter and spoke to her kindly. Their thoughtful attention made us very happy and left a lasting impression. The Room was, of course, spotless—gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The food in the lounge was also high quality; this time, in addition to the standard offerings, there were seasonal dishes as well, which made it even more enjoyable. We also used the spa and gym and felt refreshed both physically and mentally. It was a truly wonderful one-night stay. No matter how many times we visit, it’s one of our favorite Hotels that always makes us want to come back. We would love to return again.

Mercure. With all-inclusive service and an Onsen, it was perfect for a long stay. We stayed for 6 nights, and all the staff were kind and cheerful, making it extremely comfortable.\nBoth breakfast and dinner were delicious, and we were very satisfied. Having an Onsen was a great bonus.\nAlthough it rained often, we never got bored. It’s a Hotel we’d love to return to.\nAlso! My husband, who loves alcohol, was thrilled that he could enjoy Tosa sake in many different brands, and he said he wants to come again.\nWe were worried about access at first, but Nishibun Station was within walking distance for a pleasant stroll.

We stayed in early August and were truly impressed by how clean the private pool was. Private pools are often found in villa-style Rooms, where you may encounter insects, but this Room had a private pool on a high floor, so both adults and children could enjoy our stay without any insect issues. For dinner, we visited the izakaya and sushi restaurant within the resort, and both offered great Miyakojima cuisine. The menu was extensive, with classic Okinawan dishes such as rafute and a wide selection of drinks (especially awamori). We also appreciated the limited-time items like Keitt mango. When we stayed in August two years ago, the breakfast buffet was crowded and our family had to sit separately, but this time we were able to reserve seats in advance, which helped ease congestion. The food was delicious as well. This Room is highly recommended for families who prefer to avoid insects while relaxing at a private pool and fully enjoying Miyakojima’s local food.

Due to bad weather, I got soaked in the rain and started feeling unwell after check-in. When I felt chills and asked the front desk for heating, they brought a heater and a fan heater to my Room. They even set them up for me, which I truly appreciated. They also offered to deliver rice porridge to my Room, but when I said I wanted to go to the restaurant, they kindly prepared rice porridge especially for dinner. Everything was served with warm smiles and was very comforting. Thank you very much. The next day I felt better and was able to enjoy Picasso at the museum before heading home. (The free-flowing hot spring water was excellent.)

The bath and Room were clean and comfortable, and all the staff were very kind. Both dinner and breakfast had just the right seasoning and portions, and everything was delicious. It would be perfect if breakfast included a small dessert bite and after-meal coffee. This was a Ryokan I would definitely like to stay at again and recommend to friends. With Sanjo Station nearby, the location offers excellent access to sightseeing spots, and strolling along the Takase River and the Kamo River just steps away is very pleasant. The breakfast selection was extensive with both Japanese and Western options, and everything was delicious. This is a Hotel I would definitely like to stay at again.
