The refrigerator doesn’t come with an ice tray, but we were able to get ice, so it wasn’t a problem. The towels feel great on the skin, and the tissues are soft, which made me happy every time I used them. The bathroom is also stress-free because the shower curtain is very easy to use. The only thing I’d like improved is that the shower head tends to move on its own. All of the staff provided very polite service. It would be better to ensure that the order of guests waiting for check-in does not change, as guests may be waiting for various reasons.

The Hotel’s hospitality, service, and cleanliness were all impeccable. The welcome drinks were all-you-can-drink, and we were told, “Feel free to bring your own snacks,” so we gladly took them up on it. There were also some simple snacks available, and considering the drink costs included, I think it was a great value. Thank you very much!

We stayed for two nights. The Onsen, meals, transportation access, and the surrounding environment were all excellent. If I had to mention one downside, our room was on a smoking floor, and I would have appreciated an air purifier even in the hallway. The cigarette smell was so strong that it clung to our towels and even new clothes. It really made me feel that next time I should choose a non-smoking room. That said, the meals and Onsen were outstanding, and the value for money was very good.

Our three-generation family had a wonderful time together. The kids really enjoyed the pool, fireworks, and the arcade. The newly renovated Onsen was also beautiful and brought back nostalgic memories from my own childhood.

Thank you for taking care of us, even though it was just one night. All the staff were very pleasant. When we told them we were planning to visit Kinomiya Shrine, they gave us a voucher for a sweets set that could be used at the shrine, and thanks to that we were able to enjoy oshiruko and cookies. Thank you very much. There are many steep slopes on the way up to the Hotel, so I think it would be tough on foot. Dinner was great—the soup was especially delicious. We were able to relax in a Room with a private bath. However, I really wish there had been a round stool or some kind of simple chair at the sink in the Room. Women often spend a long time at the sink doing their hair and makeup, so having a chair would be helpful. The view from the Room was absolutely wonderful. I’d like to come again. There were no excessive services, but all the essential ones were well provided. In the spacious community zone, there were servers not only for tea and coffee but also for beer, and I was very satisfied that I could enjoy a casual drink. There was also ice cream available in the post-bath area. I also thought it was great that there is a Room where families with children can play. Meals are buffet-style, and everything was delicious. The rock bath is worth seeing at least once—it's wild!

This was our first trip to Tokyo, and we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days as a party of two. It’s very convenient—just a short walk from the exit after going through Yaechika from Tokyo Station. The staff were kind and attentive, which made for a pleasant start to our stay. The Room was spacious enough for two people, and the bed was almost too big (in a good way!). During our stay, we didn’t hear any noise at all from neighboring rooms or the hallway. It was so quiet that we wondered if we were the only guests on this floor—thanks to that, we slept soundly every night. There were many Western guests as well, and everyone was friendly and well-mannered. In the elevator they would let us go first, and they’d smile when passing in the hallway—it really impressed us. We had a completely stress-free stay, which made our Tokyo trip truly enjoyable. Thank you very much to all the staff. We would love to stay here again when we visit Tokyo!

I stayed for four nights, and the Hotel was clean, the Room was spacious, and I had a very comfortable stay. I also appreciated that the bathtub was a bit larger than usual. The Millet snacks I received when I opted out of housekeeping were a nice touch as well. I would love to stay here again when I visit Kochi. Thank you very much.

We were upgraded because a Room was available, so we had a more spacious Room, and the bathtub was nice and roomy. The front desk staff gave us a recommended restaurants and food-stall map, which was very helpful. Just across the street, there is a famous food stall called “Kogane-chan,” which was very convenient.

While searching for an Accommodation near Shirakawa-go, we found a Room where each family member could relax and sleep in their own bed, so we booked immediately. Since the entire building is covered with tatami mats, it was very comfortable to stay there. All of the staff provided heartfelt hospitality, the property was impeccably clean throughout, and both the meals and the Onsen were wonderful. We stayed during Obon, and our child was delighted by services such as shaved ice and ring toss. After dinner, when we started to feel a bit hungry again, they offered “yonaki soba” with two types of half-size ramen: soy sauce and Toyama Black. It was delicious. We also accidentally left something behind and contacted them after checkout; they handled it very politely, which we truly appreciated. We would definitely like to stay here again when visiting Shirakawa-go in winter snow as well.

This was a business trip. I was greeted and seen off with a smile every day, which always made it pleasant to start work. Thank you.

As I had to stay in Nagano on short notice, I chose this Hotel again as I had a good impression last time.\nSince the same class of Room as before was fully booked, I opted for the most economical Room.\nThe Room is indeed a bit small, but it wasn’t a problem. The staff were courteous and left a good impression.\nThe only disappointment was that my late check-in meant I couldn’t enjoy the complimentary late-night noodles or the sake tasting (laugh).

This Hotel was extremely satisfying from check-in to check-out. What surprised me most was the wide variety of drinks and ice cream available in the complimentary area. As a guest, you can enjoy unlimited drinks ranging from alcohol to soft drinks, and I also loved making my own ice cream—it was a lot of fun. The staff kindly guided me through the Room and breakfast information at check-in, and they responded quickly even when something unexpected came up during my stay. Breakfast arrived at my Room right on time and was warm and excellent. I truly feel this was one of the finest Hotels I’ve ever stayed at, and next time I’d like to stay in a different Room to discover something new! Thank you very much!

There were not many Japanese guests, and using the lounge was very comfortable. Thank you for accommodating our Room request as well—it made this a truly memorable trip and workation. We had cocktails on the first floor; everything was delicious and the atmosphere was great. In the lounge, we also saw some guests we don’t usually encounter… Some young overseas travelers had poor manners at times, but a kind word from a female staff member in the hall lifted my spirits. Because this stay was so wonderful, I made a Reservation for the Hyatt in Yokohama at the end of this month. I had avoided visiting before because I wanted to stay away from Shinjuku’s crowds, but thanks to its excellent location next to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, it has a great atmosphere and is a lovely Hotel I would definitely like to visit again. Last year I stayed in the main building, but this year I tried the auberge. On the first day, after watching the sunrise at Inubosaki, I headed south along Sotobo through Katsuura and Kamogawa, visited Nojimazaki Lighthouse, stopped by Awa Shrine, and then returned to this Hotel. First, I relaxed in the scenic-view Onsen to ease my fatigue. Soaking in the bath with the vast Pacific Ocean right in front of me was a truly wonderful experience. Back in my Room, I enjoyed listening to music and reading, savoring a pace of time different from everyday life. One piece of good luck on this trip was having the teppanyaki dinner entirely to myself as a private booking. I enjoyed a delicious meal while chatting pleasantly with the chef and staff. The dishes were carefully selected with a focus on local ingredients, and they were also beautiful to look at. Another bit of good luck was being able to see the sunrise the next morning. The forecast had been cloudy with occasional rain, so I had given up on it—but when I woke up, it was clear. I hurried to the scenic-view Onsen to wait for sunrise and saw it right at the time indicated by the Hotel’s guidance. It made for an incredibly refreshing morning. I could also enjoy breakfast buffet-style in a private room at a relaxed pace—maybe I ate a little too much. On my way home, I headed north along Uchibo and ended up making a full loop around the Boso Peninsula. I would definitely like to visit again when I have another chance.

The building is old and has a retro Showa-era feel, but it was very clean. There were many services, such as welcome water, an ice exchange voucher, canned tea, canned coffee, nighttime service beer and a late-night snack, and a free breakfast. The disappointing point was the air conditioner. Although the Room had been renovated, the air conditioner was old and did not allow fine airflow adjustment. Even after turning it off, there was mechanical noise for a while, and occasionally water dripped from it. Since it was directly above the pillow, it startled me.

It was incredibly affordable, yet comparable to a Business Hotel costing around 10,000 yen. What I especially liked was being able to check the laundry availability on the in-room TV, which was very helpful. It was also great to be able to see dining information and other details. If I had one request, it would be for a large public bath.

As this building is a renovated former Ryokan, sound insulation is limited and you may hear noise from neighboring Rooms or the shared hallway. However, the in-room amenities have been updated, and the shower water pressure was stronger than at typical Hotels—no issues at all. Breakfast was a Japanese set meal, and we enjoyed freshly grilled fish that changed daily. More than anything, the male staff were wonderful—thoughtful in every detail, from nearby sightseeing recommendations to dining suggestions and even checking on the air conditioning in the breakfast venue. After checkout, since we had time before the bus to Karatsu Station, they kindly told us we were welcome to wait inside. We also had a pleasant chat with the owner, and time flew by. There are impressive Hotels nearby such as Mercure and Seaside, but if you want to relax while looking out over the river, Karatsu Castle Hotel is highly recommended. It was a great Accommodation that made us want to stay again when visiting Karatsu. Thank you very much.
