No Meals Included, stayed with a family of six. As you can tell from the Plan, you might think this is an ultra-budget Accommodation. The location is great: there’s a supermarket and convenience stores nearby, and if you walk about 20 minutes you can reach a main road lined with well-known chain restaurants. It was a Ryokan made up of three buildings with the front desk building in between. Every building shows its age; some Rooms seem to have been renovated, but the building with the family Room—and the family Room we stayed in (a 10-tatami Japanese-style room)—has an atmosphere that some people may find off-putting. That said, the Room amenities and equipment, plus thoughtful touches for kids such as free drinks around the front desk and game facilities, along with outstanding hospitality, were impressive. For our family, the hospitality far outweighed any dissatisfaction with the Facility, and it became a Ryokan we’d like to stay at again. If I had to mention one notable complaint, it would be issues in the bath area. In the men’s bath there was one washing station that couldn’t be used; in the women’s bath there was reportedly only one washing station with hot water. (However, there are also two shower rooms available 24 hours a day separate from the baths.) Also, I personally didn’t mind it because of the low price, but there were many young guests like sports teams on trips, which apparently scared our children. This time we couldn’t use some of their signature services—such as the free alcohol bar until 10:30 p.m. or the rooftop footbath with views of Mt. Fuji—but even without those extras, for this price and level of service we would definitely like to stay again. That said as mentioned above, it may not suit those looking for a spotless Accommodation or brand-new facilities and service standards.

The staff at check-in left a good impression, and the staff member in charge during breakfast was particularly wonderful with their smile and service. I will use Super Hotel again if I stay next time.

The breakfast was generous and very delicious.

Right in front of the TV Tower at Odori Park, you can see the illuminated TV Tower while lying in bed, and although the bath is a Room bath, it is very stylish, clean, and spacious. There is no TV, but you can relax and sleep while listening to jazz on a record player. With breakfast included, you can choose between a seafood bowl or pork bowl, accompanied by pork soup, pickles, grilled fish, and a rolled omelet on one plate. The presentation is beautiful and delicious. However, it feels a bit heavy for breakfast, and since seafood bowls are usually eaten at lunch or dinner, it would be nice to have a lighter buffet option. Overall, it might be more suitable for inbound tourists and young people.

I stayed here on May 28 while cycling the Shikoku 88 Temple Pilgrimage. The building has a covered bicycle parking area immediately to the left of the entrance, which was very helpful. Taking the elevator to the second floor, I found a spacious front desk area with a cohesive gray-toned interior that was spotless and well maintained—my impression was of a very well-managed Hotel. Since I arrived early, I left some luggage with them and visited Temple No. 57 (Eifuku-ji) and Temple No. 58 (Senyu-ji) before check-in time. Senyu-ji in particular is beyond a steep climb of over 2 km, so being able to store my luggage was a huge help. After check-in, I also enjoyed the sauna with auto löyly, the large public bath, and the third-floor lounge offering complimentary snacks, coffee, tea, ice cream, and local sake (evenings only). I stayed without meals, but there were supermarkets and roadside restaurants nearby (Yoshinoya, MOS Burger, etc.), so it wasn’t an issue at all. If my departure hadn’t been so early in the morning, I would have liked to try the Hotel breakfast... My only complaint was that the laundry machine fee of 300 yen and dryer fee of 300 yen felt slightly higher than at other hotels; otherwise everything was high quality. Given how affordable it was as well, I was extremely satisfied.

Great value for money, and the staff were very helpful. There is no bath or toilet in the Room, but the toilet and sink were just outside the Room, so it wasn’t inconvenient. The bathing facilities were shower rooms only, but some shower room doors were hard to close. Free drinks were available (water, coffee, black tea, and tea), and I also used the first-floor café for breakfast—it was delicious. The location was a bit hard to find and I got slightly lost. I would like to stay again if I have the chance.

Stayed for one night with breakfast included. The room was a traditional Japanese-style Room, showing some age but overall clean. There were many stink bugs, but it seemed unavoidable due to the season. The Onsen had thick, smooth water and also offered private baths, which were fantastic. Breakfast included several small side dishes that were lightly seasoned and healthy. We enjoyed it, though preferences may vary. Overall, it was a great place, and we would love to stay again if given the chance.

Stayed for two nights in late November. We were three women and found this accommodation to be absolutely satisfying in every aspect. The view is stunning, with the ocean right in front of you. The building itself is luxurious and meticulously designed without any compromises. Remarkably, it is equipped with the latest high-end appliances. The tableware includes Iittala, and the dining area features Carl Hansen furniture, showcasing attention to detail throughout the space. The room's fireplace was cozy, and we could even enjoy BBQ on the terrace. This time, we fully self-catered using Itoshima vegetables, which made our stay incredibly enjoyable. Of course, what truly matters is what's inside—the staff were warm and supportive from afar with friendly smiles. It was a wonderful accommodation that I would love to visit again!

We enjoyed the stylish interior, elaborate dishes and tableware with a focus on broth, and the wonderful milky white Onsen. The only downside was that the phone was difficult to connect, and even when it did, it was automatically transferred to another Ryokan, so it was hard to get the information needed, and we had to hang up and wait for a callback. The website mentioned that there was a Shuttle Service to the nearest bus stop, but we were not provided with it and had to walk for 30 minutes. I understand that not having a TV in the Room might be a particular choice, but I still would like to have a TV. During the extreme Onsen tour, we were able to experience a wild and natural Onsen that is difficult to visit individually.

Stayed at the accommodation after attending a festival at Lake Yamanaka. Despite the possibility of arriving past midnight due to traffic, the staff provided kind and accommodating service over the phone—thank you! The room was clean, and I slept soundly until morning. (The blackout screen was so effective that it felt like nighttime even in the morning!) Breakfast was delicious, and the large public bath had soothing water that relieved my fatigue. I had confirmed in advance that room wear wasn’t provided, so I brought my own without any issues. I would love to stay here again if given the chance!

After checking in and leaving my luggage, I returned from shopping and opened the curtains, only to find a building wall right in front of me—I couldn’t see outside or the sky at all, and it felt like a storage room. Since I was staying for three nights, I didn’t like that, so I called the front desk to request a Room change. They responded immediately and moved me to a Room where I could see outside and the sky, which was a relief. The next day when I came back from going out, it felt unsettling as if someone had been in the Room. When I checked, only the towels had been replaced and the trash removed—so it was clear staff had entered—but there was no proper bed-making; the pillows were just stacked, and my pajamas were still on the floor. It made me very uncomfortable. I told the front desk but received only a brief apology. Apparently I should have put up “Do Not Disturb” on the door, but I wish they provided cards such as “No Cleaning” or “Do Not Enter.” Breakfast changed slightly each morning with different side dishes; there was just the right amount of salad and other items—not too much or too little—and it tasted better than at similar hotels. For this rate with breakfast included, it felt like good value. The Room was compact but comfortable enough to relax with a double bed. Although I had some complaints, overall my stay was comfortable, and I would like to use this Hotel again when visiting Osaka.

I used this place after a long time. It is sufficient for business use. Mobile charging cables are provided, including Lightning for iPhone, Type-C for Sharp smartphones, and Micro USB for power banks. It's not a big issue, but the USB port on the bedside was damaged, so I couldn't charge my phone while using it in bed.

It was a very satisfying accommodation. The facility and the room were thoroughly cleaned, and the staff's calm demeanor made it relaxing. Drinks, including alcoholic beverages, are available in the lobby for free. Dinner was served in a private restaurant setting. Breakfast was delivered to the room as a Japanese-style meal set. They accommodated food allergies as well. I would love to stay at this accommodation again.

The bath is very relaxing. The open-air bath is a comfortable size, and the greenery makes it pleasant as well. Breakfast was delicious—tuna and squid sashimi, grated yam, freshly cooked fried eggs, rice porridge, and “Ra-ho”—and I looked forward to it on the second morning too. Since I was traveling alone and staying two nights, I chose a Room without a bath to keep costs down, but if the price isn’t that much cheaper, I think I should have booked a standard Room instead. Because there is an Onsen, not having a bath wasn’t an issue, but the toilet bothered me. It seems a toilet unit was added into one corner of what looks like an enclosed veranda area by the window in the Japanese-style room. Since it’s so close to the room itself, it felt a bit uncomfortable. The TV also felt very small—about the size of a computer monitor. If it were dramatically cheaper than regular rooms, I might consider it again.

We stayed here for our summer family trip to visit Aquas! The Room and Facility were clean, stylish, and relaxing. The meals were delicious, and we also appreciated the free drinks! The kids enjoyed the pool and fireworks, and at night we even saw shooting stars. We made wonderful memories!

Although the exterior is not particularly impressive, the Room was spacious and affordable, and it was excellent with meals and complimentary drinks provided, plus a great selection of amenities. There was also inexpensive parking nearby, which was very convenient. I will use it again.

I booked the “Room-assigned” Plan and stayed in the main building this time. The Plan description seemed to say non-smoking, but I was surprised because the Room smelled strongly of cigarettes. I should have asked about changing Rooms, but I was short on time because someone was waiting for me, and since I had already used the toilet, I didn’t bring it up. I got used to the smell quickly, so it was fine. The Facilities in the main building are a bit old, but both the Room and bathroom were very clean, so I had a comfortable stay. The front desk staff member was polite and pleasant. Overall, there are far more good points here, so it’s a great place. I’ll be back again soon. Thank you very much.
