Kinnotake Sengokuhara is a Ryokan inspired by the famous Japanese tale "The Tale of the Bamboo Cutter" (Taketori Monogatari). This mysterious story, whose author remains unknown, tells of a beautiful woman courted by five men, none succeeding in winning her heart... and ends with a fleeting romance with the emperor before she is taken back to the moon.
