Skilled in traditional ink-line marking, Heikichi was known locally as “Sumiya no Hei-san” (“Hei from the ink shop”). From this nickname came the house name Tanpei, later renamed “Tanpei,” and it has since been operated as the oldest Accommodation in Tango Town to this day. The spirit of hospitality of “Sumiya no Hei-san” has been passed down through six generations and continues today.

Noto Hyakurakusou invites you to unwind in its “five private baths,” featuring a hand-dug “cave bath” 30 meters underground, an “observation bath” overlooking the ever-changing scenery of Kujuku Bay, and a 100㎡ reservable bath complete with a 120 cm-deep standing bath and sauna. "Matsushima Onsen Komatsukan Kofutei" harmonizes with the pine trees. To preserve and convey the beautiful scenery of Matsushima, one of Japan's three most scenic spots, the Kofutei building was constructed to integrate and protect the pine trees within the landscape.

"Gyo Sai Nagomi no Yado Sansui" is an Onsen Property featuring a "Main Building" with traditional Japanese charm and a "Villa" with semi-open-air baths and terraces exuding wooden warmth. Located in Osatsu, a town of Ama divers and fishermen south of Toba City, our Property is situated on a 5,000-tsubo estate atop a hill with stunning views of the Pacific Ocean, slightly removed from the town. With only 9 rooms available per day, this Property was built by a fisherman owner who spent 20 years envisioning and personally completing the estate. As you walk along the path from the road, you’ll find yourself in a serene world where time flows differently from everyday life. At the bottom of the hill, a private beach awaits. [Dining] We use the finest ingredients from Ise-Shima without reservation, offering the best ingredients of the day. [Onsen] All rooms are equipped with open-air baths.
