THE HIRAMATSU Kyoto was born on Muromachi Street in Nakagyo Ward, the heart of Kyoto—an area dotted with long-established shops and convenient for sightseeing. A traditional Kyoto machiya townhouse, steeped in the city’s history and culture, has been given new value and reborn as an urban luxury Hotel. The Hotel features a kappo restaurant and a restaurant, and offers 29 spacious guest rooms where you can relax despite being in the city center. The design was supervised by Nakamura Sotoji Komuten of Kyoto, renowned in Japan and abroad as a leading workshop for sukiya-style architecture.

"Villa Kazami" accommodates up to 7 guests, and "Villa Hatsuna" accommodates up to 4 guests. Both Properties allow up to two medium-sized dogs to stay together with you. The size of the pet cage is as follows: For "Villa Kazami" - Depth 80cm, Width 170cm, Height 90cm For "Villa Hatsuna" - Depth 60cm, Width 90cm, Height 60cm Each Property offers one free parking space. The dimensions are 220cm × 500cm × 250cm (height) for both. "Villa Kazami," ideal for family stays, features a spacious hinoki cypress bath in a square shape and is equipped with five Simmons semi-double beds in the bedroom. "Villa Hatsuna" is recommended for 2 to 3 guests. It is also equipped with Simmons single beds, and for groups of more than 3, we provide luxurious bedding. "Nazuna Kyoto Higashi Honganji" is a friendly luxury Ryokan with seven rooms, revitalized from a historic Kyoto townhouse Ryokan with over 100 years of history, formerly known as "Onyado Niwa," and designed with the concept of a carpenter's craftsmanship worldview. Room names such as "Obiki-no-Ma" and "Taruki-no-Ma" are inspired by carpentry terms used in wooden architecture. Through your stay, you can experience Japan's traditional architectural techniques and the spirit of its craftsmen. The Property offers first-floor, second-floor, and maisonette-type rooms, each named after different wooden structures. The noren curtain was specially crafted using denim fabric from Okayama Prefecture by "CEUEU," and the furniture features products from the Italian furniture brand "Kartell." While the exterior retains the traditional look of a Kyo-machiya, the interior is modern and stylish, inspired by the image of a highland villa, offering a comfortable and chic Kyo-machiya experience. "Nazuna Kyoto Gosho" is a luxurious Ryokan that opened in February 2019, featuring seven rooms within two large renovated Kyo-machiya townhouses.
