It was a wonderful Accommodation, just as the Reviews said. The food, the interior throughout the property, and the furnishings in the guest rooms were all tastefully chosen, and since there were only six groups of guests, we were able to relax even though it was peak season. The staff’s service was also excellent. It was an Accommodation that made us want to come back again after a long time.

Once again, we had a wonderful stay. The room and meals were excellent, of course, but what stayed with us most was the warm kindness of all the staff. On our last day, my husband unexpectedly fell at the gym. Thankfully it was nothing serious, but we truly appreciated all the care and consideration you showed us. At check-out, the Hotel kindly arranged a car to take us to Tokyo Station. After getting out and starting to walk toward the station, I casually looked back and saw that the car had not driven away right away—it remained there quietly seeing us off. I was deeply moved by that warmth and by how much you valued your guests until the very end. We would love to stay again. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for the first time because I’d heard the breakfast was delicious! There’s a large public bath, the Room bath is spacious, and of course the breakfast was great. It was a bit disappointing that the Room refrigerator didn’t have a freezing function, but they were able to provide ice the next day, which really helped. I also regret that I couldn’t make it in time for the curry served from the evening. I’d like to stay here again if I’m in the area.

I stayed for a total of two nights and was able to work comfortably. There was a desk and chair, and the chair was comfortable to sit in. From noon, there was a time when I could enjoy sweets, tea, coffee, and more, and from the evening there was a time when I could enjoy alcohol and snacks—making for a pleasant change of pace between work sessions.

I stayed one night in a Superior Room. At 43 m², it was spacious and very relaxing. The bed and pillows were comfortable and made for a great night’s sleep. I also enjoyed unwinding in the Room bath with the Hotel’s bath salts. I had both dinner and breakfast at “Tateru Yoshino.” Dinner was a full-course French meal, and it was delicious again this time. Breakfast was quiet and leisurely, which I really liked. The Hotel’s signature curry was excellent. Once again, I had a relaxing stay and was very satisfied.

Thank you very much for taking care of us during our 4-night Multiple Night Stay. This time, we stayed in the “Oryu” Room. First of all, every staff member was incredibly kind and clearly loves animals. Everyone greeted us with a smile, was gentle and attentive, brought anything we needed right away, and did their best to accommodate our requests. I’m truly grateful—your staff deserves more than five stars. Next, the meals. We were told they were prepared in a special-suite style, and both the taste and quality were excellent—high standard, delicious, and thoughtfully varied. Even over several days, we never got tired of them and enjoyed every meal. With longer stays, menus can sometimes become difficult for the kitchen side as well, but you handled everything so carefully. Since I’m also a small eater, you kindly let me choose from the menu and adjusted portion sizes accordingly. This also deserves more than five stars. As mentioned earlier, your care for animals was also very thoughtful and helpful. I visited with both a dog and a cat, and it seemed comfortable for both of them. The hot spring water quality was also wonderful. As for the guest room layout: there is a long corridor between the Room area and the bath area, which felt slightly inconvenient, so I deducted one star there. On the other hand, having an additional Room separate from the main living space made it easy to stay comfortably even when traveling with friends—an excellent design. Regarding amenities: there are no pet amenities provided (so bringing your own is necessary), but having at least a litter box available would be very helpful. The surroundings were also fantastic—like a hidden mountain hamlet. By chance we were able to see “Children’s Kagura,” which has deep history and is clearly cherished by the community. The performers practice extensively (twice a week), and while they are indeed children (apparently ranging from 3rd grade elementary school to 3rd year high school), their performance was outstanding and truly impressive. If your dates happen to coincide with it during your stay nearby, it’s absolutely worth seeing. (It seems Kagura is held several times a year; I’d love to see other performances as well.) I also felt that preserving traditional Japanese festivals like this is part of what makes this area so special—and I think it may become even more well-known in the future. It’s about 30 minutes by car to Yufuin Station, so even on an extended stay you can easily go shopping for necessities. Sightseeing around Yufuin should be convenient as well—and Beppu is also about 30 minutes away via expressway—so overall it feels like an excellent location for travelers who want to explore.

It was hot in Kyoto, so I really appreciated how close it was to the station! The Room was clean and I was satisfied, and the staff were very kind, making my stay comfortable.

All staff were exceptionally attentive, the Hotel was spotless and dust-free, and the Room air felt fresh. It was a quiet, comfortable space you wouldn’t expect in the city—an outstanding Hotel. Breakfast was also excellent, with an eel rice bowl, chirashi sushi, miso soup, melon, and more—down to details like tsukudani and Toraya sweet bean paste—so we could relax and enjoy it little by little. I’d love to stay again.

Thank you for always taking such great care of us! This is our fifth stay! We love Sankyu’s sushi for dinner, and the Room is spacious and clean. Breakfast is delicious, the price is reasonable, and we’re completely satisfied! We’ll definitely be back again! We’ve also recommended it to everyone at our company!

From the moment we arrived, the parking guidance, check-in, shop, and breakfast venue staff were all very welcoming, and their smiles and service made our stay truly comfortable. We stayed at this Accommodation on our first trip as three generations of our family because in-room dining was available. It’s close to the station, and both the exterior and the lobby were very clean, giving us a great impression at check-in. The proprietress and all the staff were truly kind and provided warm, thoughtful service. The Room, meals, bath, and service were all excellent—we were completely satisfied with this Hotel. Above all, the hand towels had such a wonderful fragrance that we even asked the proprietress about it at check-out. It was a deeply relaxing trip that we enjoyed immensely.

I’ve been coming here since I lived about 30 minutes away by train. Even after moving to a place about two hours away, I still visit from time to time specifically to stay at this Hotel and explore Takasaki. From the moment you step into the entrance with flowing water, you’re drawn into an extraordinary world. More than anything, I love the atmosphere of the large public bath. If you bathe before sunset, sunlight pours in and it’s bright and truly wonderful. Soaking in the open-air bath while listening to Shinkansen announcements as background music is pure bliss—I can forget everything. Both the guest rooms and the entire property are clean and comfortable. Since I’ve stayed many times, every visit feels like “I’m back.” The breakfast venue is very open and airy, and just as comfortable. The honey butter was so delicious that next time I plan to enjoy it generously again. Thank you always, and I look forward to staying with you again!

Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding—the best meals we’ve had at any place we’ve stayed. The mini concert was also wonderful, and our granddaughter was able to take part. The toilet and washbasin area felt a little inconvenient to use, but the air conditioning worked well and we were able to stay comfortably.

Despite making a last-minute Reservation the day before, we received heartfelt hospitality and thoughtful attention, and were able to relax and truly unwind. Not only were the Room and meals wonderful, but the Onsen was exceptional as well, helping us forget our everyday fatigue and feel refreshed in both body and mind. Throughout our stay, we could feel the Ryokan team’s spirit of hospitality in every detail, which made us very happy. Thanks to you, it became a memorable and wonderful trip. Because it was during the Obon holidays, the large public bath was extremely crowded. However, since it’s open until late at night, I tried again at a different time. Around midnight it was almost empty, and I was able to relax and enjoy the bath. Next time, I’d like to try the morning buffet. I’m glad I could have a relaxing stay.

Unfortunately, it was raining, but towels were provided in front of the front desk, and I was impressed by how thoughtful that was. The hotel is close to the station, and the bath was great. After bathing, I enjoyed some ice cream while taking in the beautiful view. The late-night soba was excellent, and breakfast was also very delicious. I would love to stay again if I have the chance. This was our first stay. My wife, who is very particular about everything, said, “This Room is comfortable, so we’ll be fine,” and even wanted to cancel the other Hotels we had planned. We were wondering what to do for a four-week Hotel stay during our home renovation, so we consulted the front desk. Despite being busy, they kindly helped us, and as a result we changed our plans and stayed long-term. The breakfast selection was extensive, and my wife—who rarely eats out due to food allergies and usually has to cook for herself—enjoyed it every morning without getting tired of it. The lounge, the Onsen, and the parking were all excellent as well, and every staff member was very courteous. When we mentioned a concern about cleaning, they responded immediately. We are truly grateful that our long stay went smoothly. Thank you very much for taking such great care of us.
