It was a truly wonderful Hotel. From the moment I stepped inside, I felt a sense of calm and dignified atmosphere. The cleanliness throughout the building, the color tones of the furniture and interiors, the beauty of the design, and the carefully arranged details all conveyed the Hotel’s overall elegance. What impressed me most was the warmth of the staff. Their demeanor and choice of words reflected outstanding hospitality, allowing me to relax and enjoy my stay with peace of mind. Breakfast was also excellent—not only for the food itself, but also because it could be enjoyed slowly in a serene setting. It felt like one of the great highlights of staying at this Hotel. This Hotel is not simply a place to stay; it is a place to step away from everyday life and spend quiet time in refined comfort. I would highly recommend this Hotel to anyone who wants to take their time enjoying their stay while appreciating its beautiful atmosphere and distinctive world that the staff so carefully preserve. I sincerely thank all staff members for providing such a wonderful space and service. I would love to visit again. However, some guests’ behavior was disappointing. At minimum, basic manners matter—no swimming in the large public bath; no shouting by adults or children; no arguing or yelling between parents; no running in the breakfast area. Even though it was only one night, there was a significant gap between guests who wanted to enjoy a quiet, high-quality environment and those without manners. With both groups mixed together, it is true that there were many moments when I could not fully enjoy what should have been such a dignified and lovely atmosphere. The food, cleanliness, ambiance, elegance, professionalism at reception, quality of furnishings, and housekeeping (except for parts related to air conditioning within the building) were all excellent and very satisfying. This is an issue on our side as guests. Please follow basic etiquette in shared spaces: do not run (especially in the breakfast area), do not shout, do not argue loudly even as parents—and keep your voices down. Unfortunately there were many guests who did not observe these basics. I especially wish people would refrain from swimming in the large public bath. There were also children splashing water around with wash buckets—yet some parents did not correct them; instead they swam together with their children while being loud. It felt chaotic. I also did not want to witness arguments between parents. I do not want to hear shouting or yelling. If only guest behavior improved—but aside from that point, this Hotel is outstanding!

All staff members checked in with us thoughtfully and attentively, which made our family’s stay very comfortable. Thank you for your warm hospitality. We will make a Reservation at the Four Seasons Hotel Kyoto again for our next stay in Kyoto.

It was a wonderful stay. The exterior is charming, and the interior—including the Room—was very clean and well maintained overall. The bed had just the right firmness, and I slept very well. Having an on-site restaurant was also very convenient. And the food was delicious. The location is excellent, and we had no inconveniences at all. The staff were also very courteous and helpful. I would love to stay again.

This was my third visit. On my previous two stays, I enjoyed sweeping views from the room of Matsushima’s vivid blue sea under a crystal-clear sky. This time, however, it rained throughout my 2-night, 3-day stay, and the sea was veiled in white mist; seeing the forecast the day before left me feeling down. Still, while the view outside the window didn’t meet my hopes, I was able to truly savor my time inside the Hotel instead. Sinking into the slightly hot, silky Onsen, I could feel everyday fatigue quietly melt away to the gentle sound of rain. Above all, the staff’s thoughtful and warm hospitality turned a rainy stay into something genuinely comforting. Please accept my heartfelt thanks. Meals are served buffet-style with live cooking finished right in front of you by the chef. Amidst the sizzling sounds and enticing aromas, it was a special luxury to enjoy each dish at its freshest and most delicious. Thanks to the all-inclusive plan, I could pair wine, beer, shochu, highballs, and sake with each course without worrying about extra charges—an absolutely blissful experience. Regardless of the weather, this Hotel’s high-quality Onsen and dining—along with its staff’s sincere dedication to guests—ensure a deeply satisfying stay. I can wholeheartedly recommend it. I’m already looking forward to returning and seeing what kind of Matsushima awaits next time.

Thank you very much for allowing us to spend such a relaxing time the other day. We traveled to Hokkaido to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, and stayed here for our third night. Thanks to your many thoughtful gestures and warm hospitality, we had an absolutely wonderful time. We were truly surprised and delighted by the gift: you took photos of us and presented them with a message on a shikishi board. We have it displayed at home now. We also appreciated the complimentary champagne toast at dinner from the head chef, and the celebratory glutinous rice dish at breakfast. Everything was delicious—the kaiseki cuisine as well as the additional orders: crab, whelk, sweet shrimp, and uni sushi. It was a feast of wonderful flavors. The Onsen water had a silky texture, and I went to soak several times a day. Unfortunately it was cloudy when viewing from the open-air bath, but listening to the sound of the waves while soaking in water that left my skin so smooth was incredibly soothing. There were also four kinds of beer available after bathing, along with so many other complimentary services that I can’t list them all. Time flew by during our stay, and as we headed on to Hakodate next, we kept thinking that one night wasn’t enough. The tarako we had at breakfast was so delicious that we bought some to take home. It will be arriving soon by courier service, and I’m looking forward to enjoying it. Thank you very much.

I stayed here for business. What impressed me most was the warm hospitality of the staff. I also really enjoyed a delicious dinner at the restaurant. One suggestion for improvement: as someone who loves an early-morning bath, I would appreciate it if the baths could be open in the early morning.

I stayed here for a trip departing from Narita Airport. The Facility isn’t brand-new, but it’s more than sufficient for the price. The bath was spacious, so I could soak and relieve my fatigue. Amenities, including bath salts, are selected from in front of the front desk. There was a wide variety of tea, and options like honey tea were delicious. Buses to Narita Airport ran every hour starting in the 6 a.m. hour, so I took the first one and had plenty of time. When I wasn’t sure which departure time to choose, the front desk staff kindly said, “If it were me, I’d choose an earlier time,” which made me very happy.

We visited with our 3-month-old baby. As it was our first trip with a child, we were anxious at first, but thanks to the warm hospitality and flexible support, we were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We had made a Reservation for a dinner course at the restaurant, and I was worried that if our baby cried it might disturb other guests. The staff continued to reassure me with thoughtful words, and I was especially impressed by how quickly they arranged to change the latter part of the meal to room service. I’m truly grateful to the kind female staff member who took care of us at dinner! Because of this heartfelt service, we decided to make our next Reservation with a Hyatt property as well. Thank you very much!

It was my first trip to Mito in 20 years, but unfortunately it rained. Still, thanks to staying at this Hotel, I didn’t feel any inconvenience when it came to shopping or dining. At the front desk, there were 2–3 staff members who were quite unfriendly, and three who were very pleasant (a foreign staff member, a male staff member, and a young female staff member). So even if you happen to be helped by someone unfriendly, if another person assists you instead you can still feel well taken care of—so it’s fine. I stayed for two nights. On the first night I had a Room near the elevators on a day with many group guests. Since I’m a light sleeper, even small noises woke me up. When I spoke with the young female receptionist about it, she kindly reassigned me to another Room without any hassle. I really appreciated that. The Room was very spacious and had new facilities. Because it was raining, I spent a lot of time in the Room and found it very comfortable. Complimentary bottled water and tea bags were provided, but there was no coffee—since I like having coffee in my pajamas right after waking up, next time I’ll bring instant coffee myself. Also, there was only one sturdy pair of slippers suitable for going to the large public bath area inside the Hotel; next time I plan to bring disposable slippers as well. There was also an Accommodation guest–exclusive aperitivo at the restaurant. The selection, price, and service were all excellent—I was completely satisfied. Overall I was extremely satisfied and will stay here again next time!

Like many Hotels, having only two elevators can feel inconvenient during busy times. Even if you want to take the stairs for health reasons, the doors are closed, so it seems they are not recommended and you end up spending time looking for them. Breakfast was delicious. The salad was placed at the very back, after the rice and drinks; if possible, I would prefer it to be at the beginning or at the end of the line, since I plan my portions. Overall, I had a comfortable stay with no major issues.

Due to my mistake, I thought I had made a Reservation for a Plan with dinner and breakfast, but it turned out to be without breakfast. At check-in, you confirmed it with me and added breakfast—thank you for noticing. Everyone was cheerful and kind throughout my stay, and I had a comfortable, enjoyable time. I was also happy to buy the Hotel’s original daifuku as souvenirs, and they were well received. The Onsen was wonderful, of course, and the meals were excellent as well. It was my first stay here, but it was reasonably priced and exceeded my expectations. With fewer smoking-friendly Hotels these days, I really appreciate it. I’ll be back again.

The large public bath on the first floor is a highlight. Each Room has a unit bath, but I have never used it. The public bath is also available at night and in the morning. The breakfast buffet in the morning is not very good—please consider it a bonus.

This is a repeat stay. Every year, avoiding the Obon season, I travel to Moka City to visit family graves, then stop by here on the way back to Kanagawa. This Hotel is calming and relaxing, with soothing views of Bannaji Temple. It’s quiet, and although breakfast doesn’t have a huge variety of side dishes, it’s delicious and satisfying. I will stay again next year. Thank you in advance.

We searched for a well-reviewed Onsen with an ocean view and decided to stay here. From check-in to being shown to our Room, and even during meals, the staff always served us with a smile, making our stay very pleasant. The meals were very luxurious and absolutely delicious. The ocean-view terrace was also beautiful, and we were able to relax at our leisure. This is a Facility we would love to visit again.

The staff were kind and attentive. The Room was spacious and comfortable. I wished the bath could have been available one hour earlier in the morning, but I was able to use it at night at a relaxed pace, and I slept very well. Thank you.

The moment we arrived, my first thought was, “This is even more like a love hotel than I imagined!” When we entered the building, we didn’t understand the system, so we called a staff member using the phone at the front desk. That was the only person we met during our one-night stay. The bathroom has a jacuzzi and a spacious washing area, and you can even watch movies on the TV. I’m usually picky about pillows, but the bed was very comfortable. The drinks in the fridge were cheaper than at other Hotels. The amenities were surprisingly luxurious for these days—the body towel felt great to use, the toothbrushes were good quality, and there was even a ReFa hair dryer plus a hair iron! For breakfast I chose the BLT sandwich; it was delicious and came with coffee. It’s easy to access by car, and places like Toshodaiji Temple and Horyuji Temple were close by for sightseeing the next day. The price was low so I had no expectations at all, but it exceeded them in a great way!! It honestly felt more all-inclusive than the all-inclusive Accommodation we stayed at the next day (lol). Checkout is easy too. If I have another chance, I’d love to stay here again.

This was my first time staying here. From check-in, I was welcomed with a wonderful smile, which raised my expectations. The Room was a twin—spotlessly clean! Perfect for relaxing in a spacious setting on my own. The amenities were great, including cleansing oil that women will appreciate. The shampoo also had a lovely scent. I was able to borrow an air purifier and a hair iron for free! The lounge chair was extremely comfortable as well. Since this stay was for enjoying some solo time, I ordered room service at night: a delicious burger and the dessert of the day. I don’t like truffle fries, so I asked to switch to regular fries, and they happily accommodated my request—I really appreciated it. I definitely want to stay again. Next time, I plan to book with breakfast included. Even during the busy checkout period, everything was handled smoothly and efficiently! If there’s one thing I could ask for, it would be an even better experience if there were a late check-out Plan!

This was our third visit as a couple. Every time, we’re reminded that this is one of our favorite places in Nasu. The Room is spacious, and the sweeping greenery of the Nasu Highlands right in front of you feels wonderful. We chose the buffet for dinner. There are so many options it’s hard to decide—but everything is truly delicious. Chinese, Japanese, sushi, curry—whatever you choose tastes great. Staff promptly clear finished plates, so you can move on comfortably. The baths are spacious. The sauna and open-air bath are excellent—nothing to complain about. The water temperature is just right. The changing area has slightly older lockers, but it’s very well cleaned. The bakery inside offers high-quality bread. The souvenir shop is well stocked. You can also get massages in three locations, and every therapist is highly skilled. Check-in (there can be a wait at 15:00, but the staff are efficient and pleasant) and parking guidance at the entrance are spot-on (easy to unload luggage smoothly; same on departure). Overall, it’s a Hotel where you can enjoy an incredibly comfortable stay with virtually nothing to fault. It always makes us want to choose this place again next time.

This was my first stay. When we needed to change our dates due to a typhoon hitting directly, you handled it very courteously. The Room, the large public bath, and the breakfast were all excellent—I was completely satisfied. I would like to stay again next time. Thank you very much for everything.
